Palle Oswald was born in a country of about 240 tribes. He was raised on a staple of folklore, of magical battles and mythical beasts. The stories that frightened other children, fascinated him. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

It's the second book of a series I still haven't read the first one, but I definitely will after this one. It explores African folklore in extremely intriguing new ways mixed really well with fantasy elements! It's epic, glorious, intense, and dramatic! The narrative style also goes smoothly and lets you dive deeper and deeper into the story and the world as you read chapter after chapter! Definitely recommend the book!
