Nobody would have thought a degree in Criminal Psychology would end up with her behind bars, on death row of all things. It was his fault if he hadn't have been so damm... Nope, she wasn't going to think about the brute of a man that thought he was good enough to flirt with her. He's the most infuriatingly lazy and self-assured man she'd even met, and now she was stuck in this cruel and callous hellhole.

He might not be a knight in shining armor, but where did she get off thinking she's so much better than him? If he just had an hour alone with her, he could correct her behavior, and the world would thank him. Not violently, obviously. There are much more effective ways of bringing haughty women down to their knees. The problem is that just the thought of putting Miss Sophia in her place because that was an idea that he could not afford to entertain if they were to get through this catastrophe alive.

I absolutely loved reading about Ethan and Sophia. What happens when you get stuck in jail? Try to find ways out right. That’s what Ethan tries to do. He’s got that I can do it don’t worry attitude. Sophia has a deadline, and she doesn’t have what she needs with her to get it done. With Ethan’s good looks, it’s hard for Sophia to keep her eyes off him. When something happens to Ethan, Sophia makes sure Ethan is taken care of. Will being behind bars bond these two? The intense interaction between these two is off the charts. How can someone resist a man who stops at nothing to get you out of jail. In the end, how do you think things turn out. Wait to you find out. Definitely a page turner I didn’t want to put down.

This was my first read from this author. While I'm not the biggest fan of the story being written in the third person point of view because it makes the story impersonal for me, sorry deal breaker, I really liked the story and it kept my interest. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.

This is such a fun read about Ethan and Sophia. It is a fairly short and quick read and an absolute page turner. I love the characters! These are combustible like dynamite. The plot is very interesting and captivating.

I’m discovering that J.F. Lowe’s stories are always intriguing, fast-paced page-turners that keep me glued to my seat until I read the very last word. And in the end, I am always left wanting more. Seducing Philly was exactly that. I instantly fell in love with Ethan Brooks and his smug alpha attitude. But what was a bigger surprise is that I was just as enamored with Sophia Wales. The no-nonsense brit came out swinging and in charge of her own rules.

What happens when snobby, superior English Sophia Wales is accidentally trapped in jail for three days with alpha male Ethan Brooks? Criminal Psychology grad student Sophia knows lots about the historical jail, but not about dealing with people. Great play on the effects of fear, stress, tension, helplessness between two people trying to deny the electric chemistry between them.

What a great read! The smartly crafted combination of emotions, drama, suspense, action and danger grabs your attention and maintains your interest well. The main characters, Sophia and Ethan are very easy to like and chemistry is off the charts. This book gave me solid feels while also keeping me on the edge as the gripping as the story unfolds.

A winning combination of action, suspense, and steamy. This book continues J.F. Lowe’s tradition! I couldn’t read it fast enough. I have read every standalone novel in this series and couldn't put any of them down until I was finished!! Such a great series! Can't wait for the next!!

What do you get when one fiesty Brit meets one Alpha dominant man and both get accidentally locked in a vacant prison for three days ?
Lots of sass and hot rope play that's what .
Ethan and Sophia I found were two totally different people that under normal circumstances would never mesh together if they met say, in a club or restaurant . However getting accidentally locked in a vacant prison for three days lowered their inhibitions eventually, more so for Sophia and soon these two strangers where heating up the cells in no time . I found Sophia who is British and stand offish who had an acid tongue unrelatable in the beginning I didn't understand why she was the way she was with her attitude she was very much focused on her career and nothing was getting in the way of that . However circumstances beyond her control soon had her reevaluating her life choices.

Ethan I found was a go with the flow type of guy who has his dominant moments especially in regards to Sophia he wanted to tame her acidic tongue in more ways then one . She was a conundrum to him at first but knew with patience and guidance he could have her eating out the palm of his hand .
I liked how in the end Sophia became more softer and let Ethan in, her heart thawing for something she didn't realise she wanted in the end . I found her more relatable then.

I don't know how Sophia managed to get herself locked with Ethan, or how Ethan got himself locked up in the first place. But they managed to get to know each other better than they should have after bickering. Good for them.
