He’s intense, he’s fearless, and he’ll stop at nothing to save her.

My job is to protect the innocent, but Blake van Hamilton has never been innocent.
With killer curves, silky brown hair, and silvery-blue eyes, she’s been an inconvenient object of my lust since we were teens.
Now I’ve been hired to guard her against a band of criminals who want her money, and maybe even her life.
Still, I'm the last person she wants helping her.
Blake van Hamilton hates me, but it won’t stop me from doing my job.

Hutch Winston may be sexy as hell, but I won’t fall for his white knight-protector act.
Not since he used it to ruin my life at sixteen.
But when my best friend turns up dead and my uncle goes missing, Hutch is my only option.
Moving into his family estate is the real test.
It gets worse when I accidentally see him naked in the shower, moaning my name.
I have to keep my head and my heart in line—not to mention my body.
Every part of me wants him in every possible way.
I may be fearless, but how I feel about him scares me most of all.

(FEARLESS is a stand-alone, enemies-to-lovers romantic suspense novel. It contains an insanely hot alpha protector and the curvy, feisty socialite he’s hired to protect. The forced proximity angle sets it all ablaze. No cheating. No cliffhangers.)

"We were always going to be here, whether it was tonight or some other night."
Tia Louise has the best teasers. Since I first saw an excerpt of the shower scene, I had to read this book. Yes, shower scenes in romance novels are my kryptonite.
This book has a bit of everything: some action, some tension, a lot of romance, and a ton of steam, which all result in a definite page-turner. I couldn't put it down.

"I don't get jealous. I get what I want."
I love Hutch. What did you expect? He's like my usual book boyfriends – strong, on the grumpy side, with a knight-in-shining-armor complex, and all sorts of sexy. How can you resist that? Plus, the dirty mouth, the protectiveness, and the possessiveness.
And there's something that's very unique to Hutch, and it has to do with Tia's writing. When she describes how it is for him to hold someone in his arms, you feel it. The warmth, the protection. And that was pretty amazing.

"I've always wanted to be your hero."
I was honestly thinking I would hate Blake. I was imagining this weak-minded, shallow socialite. I was wrong. Yes, she has money, and yes, that's part of her life, but it's not who she is. She's so much more than that. I love how she loves and protects her sister, or tries to, against everything. I love how she rises to every challenge, and doesn't back down.

"Tell me, Hutch Winston, do you always handle people like trained monkeys?"
"Yes. I get away with it, too."

These two have a history. There's been something sizzling between them since they were kids, but she was essentially jailbait. Five years separate them, which used to seem like a lot, but not anymore. Past history, regret, and bitterness separate them too, but now that Blake may be in danger, does that matter?
In fact, when push comes to shove, does anything matter but them?

"Take me to bed or lose me forever."
The tension between them is through the roof. They're scorching together. And what they have is wrapped up in everything else going on. I loved the suspense, and all the anticipation. I needed to know what was coming next.
I absolutely loved the small-town feel. The secondary characters were excellent - I can't wait to see what's coming next for them, because I already know it's going to be good.

"We've always been fearless, but before we were two halves of a perfect whole. Now we're titanium, creating something new and unstoppable."
Sometimes you have to be fearless because you're alone. Blake needed her own hero, whether she realized it or not. Hutch needed some saving of his own. When their worlds collide again, they catch fire – they combust, creating something new. Them, together.

I need Hana and Scar's story, please!

I liked it

It was an enemies-to-lovers ish, protective bodyguard romance. It could’ve used a looooot more tension between the H and h, but it was pretty steamy anyway, so I didn’t mind it lol.

The epilogue takes place when Blake’s 16 years old, and Hutch’s 21. Her dad just died and her mother prefers to drink her breakfast instead of taking care of her daughters 😐. Hutch, who just got out of the military, keeps trying to look out for her, so he suggests for her to go to a religious school so she stays out of trouble. The problem is that her stepdad’s abusive towards her younger sister ☹️.

Eight years later, Blake’s now 23 and comes across her friend’s dead body and she doesn’t think it was suicide like everyone else thinks. At the same time, she gets a letter from her great uncle Hugh to go visit him. Her younger sister, Hana, needs to get away from the city life so she can recover from her addictions, so off to visit their uncle they go.

When they get to his residence, she encounters her enemy from the past, Hutch, Except now he’s a private investigator, and he knows a lot of dirt about people. He’s the father figure to his niece who lost her mother (his sister) to cancer. Mysteriously, Blake’s great uncle has also disappeared, and now, they need to figure out what happen not only to him, but also to her dear friend.

She’s a grown woman now. Her body is mine to claim, and I intend for this night to be memorable for us both.

Of course, there’s tension between them👀. She doesn’t forgive him for making her mother send her away all those years before, so she sees him as her enemy, but he doesn’t see her as one 😅. In fact, he’s been saving her photo shoot spreads from her past modeling gigs and… um… self-soothing with them 🙃😉

“I’ve wanted to touch you for so long.” His hot breath coats my skin, and I rise on my toes as my eyes close. “I’m going to taste every part of you and f*ck you hard.”

The first 🔥scene is when she walks in on him taking a shower… and he grunts her name 🥵 (16%). It’s almost like the dam broke, because by 26% they go all the way. I love when the H is all about his h, and he can’t help but want to consume her 💦😅. On Blake’s end, it must be nice to be able to O by just nippl€ stimulation (good thing Hutch is obsessed with her b00bs). There are lots and lots of smexxy times👀, even the epilogue has smexxy times 😅👀. These two are insatiable- just the way I like it 💅.

“I want to see you take me.”
“It’s too big,” I gasp, arching my back. Large hands caress my ass, fingers sliding down to trace my inner thighs.
“Relax, baby. You got this.” Slowly, he begins to rock, sliding in and out, and my lips part.
“Oh, God…” I gasp, repeating the words as my back arches.

Would I call this a true enemies to lovers? Not really. Once it takes place in the present time, they quickly move on from the enemies phase to the f buddy phased lol. Although it’s labeled as “thrilling,” I wouldn’t call this too suspenseful since the main mystery isn’t centered around the MCs.

I also found a few things a little off or maybe needed more development/explanation (the video blackmailing stuff and even the detail on her friend’s death). I also found myself scratching my head at some of the things Hutch’s 11 year-old niece would say. I have an 11 year-old niece and I kept comparing my niece to Pepper. I felt like she read a little young. But hey, it’s fiction, so no biggie lol.

Overall, I liked it. The smexy times were 🔥

Oh my gosh, this was HOOOTTT!!! The chemistry between Blake and Hutch was INTENSE as was the drama that surrounded them.

Blake was such a strong heroine. She was all about protecting her sister although it often felt as though that was a fight she was never going to win. At every turn she had some pretty bad things happening and she was struggling to find answers to her questions and solutions to her problems.

Hutch was amazing!! He was such a great alpha hero with all kinds of protective instincts raging when it came to Blake. While their history both helped and harmed, there was never a doubt that he wanted her in a place that offered the most safety he could provide at the time. I loved watching him when they were once more reunited.

This has so many layers to it as this couple work together to solve the issues threatening Blake and her sister. The heat level between Blake and Hutch was explosive. This should come with a warning as you’ll need a fan and cold drink close at hand once their desires take over. And holy heck, the secondary characters captured my heart almost immediately and I cannot wait to learn their full stories. I hate rushing an author for the next book as soon as I finish one, but when it’s this delicious, I just can’t help myself!

**3.5/5 stars**

This was a pleasant standalone but there were some moments where I wasn't really interested in what I was reading. Nothing too crazy and too negative, just little things I would've liked better, which are obviously just from personal taste and opinion.

The blurb summarizes the premise fairly well, although it does make it sound more thrilling than it actually was, when it comes to the intrigue that is. As the oldest sister, Blake has always been very protective of her younger sister Hana, who had a very traumatizing and sad childhood. When she receives a text message concerning a supposed p*rno tape of her sister, blackmailing her to transfer money or the tape will be released to the public, Blake has in mind to get to the bottom of this. Not without the help of Hutch, her past nemesis, a private detective who is already investigating something that could be connected to the blackmailing, but who is also tasked by Blake's great uncle, to protect both of them. Together, they have to let their differences aside and trust one another, but also try to resist the attraction that always boiled between them.

Money doesn’t buy happiness. It only reveals your true character.

Now this all sounds very exciting, enemies to lovers forced to work together and unleashing passions and all that. It was exciting at first...It just didn't last long. The trope itself didn't last long. Even though I loved their intimate moments, they happened too quickly. I was somewhat expecting the tension to simmer a bit longer, for the passion to build up until the main characters finally gave in. At 20%, they'd already abandon themselves to their desires, which was a bit of a bummer. Obviously, afterwards, they had a few arguments and disagreements but the enemies to lovers was definitely thrown out the window. The investigation was also a bit too slow for my liking; I didn't feel the threat of the blackmail, it wasn't scary or anything. I'm not too sure how to explain it but the story was lacking some...some oomph! It didn't keep my attention as much as it should've.

Now for the characters, let me start with Blake. I mostly liked her. I thought it was nice to have a strong and sassy heroine who wasn't scared to tempt the hero. Even while they didn't get along, she would still try to play that little game of seduction, not knowing exactly what it did to him but knowing it did trigger something. She was also fiercely protective of her sister. Which, in my opinion, was a double edges sword. On one side, it made her very likable and caring, but on the other side, made her do dumb things. I'm thinking of how she was too stubborn to ask for Hutch's help when he was the best person around to help her, being a PI. I'm also thinking about how she thought she could handle things on her own too, putting herself in danger, as well as her sister. So again, I mostly liked her, but the stunts she pulled in the second half of the book, although not necessarily unforgivable, were just so annoying to read. I just very much dislike heroines who try to play the ''hero'', thinking they can fix things alone. I lowered my rating a bit because of that.

Apparently my type is arrogant, bossy jarheads who slam you against the door and kiss your face off.-Blake

Now as for Hutch, I also mostly liked him, but I had mixed feelings. First of all, I thought he was really sexy when intimate with Blake. The fact he'd been crushing on her for a while, keeping a magazine where she'd appeared in a sexy swimsuit was the cherry on top. It's clearly said too what he was doing with it 👀 and I'm living for it. Anyway, he was protective, sensual and confident, but above all bossy, which I personally love. His desires for Blake were very obvious. I also liked how he was with Pepper, his little niece who he's now the guardian of after the death of her mother, his sister. As much as I liked the way he was with Blake and his family, I really didn't like how judgemental he was towards Hana, Blake's sister, who had a horrible past and tried to forget her demons and nightmares, drowning herself in alcohol and drugs. She was obviously making efforts after they moved to their great uncle's residence, focusing on her passion for photography...I don't know, I thought Hutch was a bit harsh because he knew what happened to her, or had an idea of it. That's the only thing that really irked me about him though, other than that, I thought he was a good character.

She’s a grown woman now. Her body is mine to claim, and I intend for this night to be memorable for us both.-Hutch

Like I said above, the intimate scenes between Hutch and Blake were pretty nice. I just wish there'd been more tension, more build-up leading to them. It didn't feel like an enemies to lovers stories after the prologue honestly. There was some friction but not much. Something I did like was how the scenes between them were diversified. It wasn't always the same position or the same setting, and then came some little kinks here and there while they explored their desires. If I didn't necessarily care about the investigation and the blackmail situation all that much, their intimacy was something I looked forward to the most while I was reading. It was definitely one of the strong points of this book. Overall, it was a decent story.

Would I recommend this book? Even though this author claims the books of this series to be standalones (which they somewhat are), I would suggest to read this book before reading Filthy because the intrigue for it is set in motion in Fearless. Going straight to Filthy, like I tried to do, will only confuse you because it's like being thrown in the middle of an on-going/partly solved investigation. The foundations for the relation between the main characters (Hana and Scar) in the second book, their first meeting, the subtle little moments, are also laid out in Fearless.

From the same Series

DNF. I have really enjoyed quite a few Tia Louise books before this one. Fearless was hugely problematic, however. First, the opening Prologue referred to a 13 year old as a party animal and addict and hinted at sexual abuse. That was the first uncomfortable feeling. Then, in the hero Hutch’s point of view he says this about a 13 year old girl when he was 18, 5 years older than this child:

“I saw her in that bikini at the lake, gazing at me like she’d never seen a man…. That day, for whatever reason, in her wide-eyed gaze full of hunger and lust unearthed something primal in me… How could a girl make me feel desire?”

WTF. She was 13!!!!! This is gross. This is a child he is taking about. Then 3 years later when she is 16 he goes on to describe an intimate encounter when he was 21. Again, gross. Still underage.

Compared to other recent books by this author, this doesn’t even seem like a book she has written. It is extremely poor taste & disgusting portraying an adult man lusting after a child. No. Just no.

A delicious cover, a ton of suspense, a curvy, strong heroine with a hunky former military herot- there’s a lot about the set up of Fearless that is right up my alley. And, while I certainly found this story entertaining, I didn’t quite love it like I thought I would. The romance side of the story never quite connected with me- neither character ever really popped, and the chemistry never really got to a place where I was longing for these two to make it happen. More so, they just felt awash amidst a bevy of other interesting suspense and twisting plotlines, the balance of past and present and different scenes. Individually the elements all are compelling, just all together I felt parts of the story that I wanted to connect with (the character, their romance) felt a bit lukewarm. The cover sparkles, but the story didn’t quite captivate me, though certainly found parts of it enjoyable.

What a fabulous book. I was hooked from page one. Loved how protective and possessive Hutch was about Blake. Even when they were younger, he looked after her. She’s so protective of her sister and I felt for what they went through when they were younger. There’s a blackmailing situation that also kept me on edge. What happened to Blake and Hana’s Uncle? I even had happy tears for their happy ever after. I can’t wait for Hana and Scar’s story. I
Voluntarily read an advanced readers copy and I highly recommend this book.

This is my first Tia Louise book and I had a mixed response to it. I really loved the suspense portion of the story. It is done much more dramatically than a usual romantic suspense and I really loved it.
But the narration style felt quite abrupt in places and didn't leave room for too much emotion.

Overall this was a good story that had me intrigued. I will definitely be picking up Filthy just to see how all the loose ends are tied up.

Fearless has everything that is Tia Louise's strength. Ex military hero. Small town romance. Second chance. A sweet and sassy heroine. But it is also very different from what I have usually read from her. Because the suspense element is very strong here with many plot twists. It also goes back and forth between a quaint small town and New York's glamourous celebrity world.

Blake was shipped to a convent almost immediately after her father's death. So she couldn't protect her sister Hana from her alcoholic mother and the evil she brought in their rich mansion. And she believes Hutch is the one responsible for it. Years have passed. She is in middle of New York's socialite scene. Hana is a lost soul. And she is invited by her granduncle to their home town. A perfect excuse to escape. Only deaths and disappearances are happening. Can Hutch protect Blake from the enemy, as requested by her uncle?

I feel there were too many things happening in the story. So I couldn't really concentrate on anything properly. It was a bit jumbled up and chaotic. Like the author is trying to juggle too many plots but none is grabbing my attention. Individually, Hutch and Blake are great characters. Hutch is the alpha with a strong protective streak. He feels responsible for Blake and Hana and he will die for them. The prototype grumpy brooding alpha hero. Blake is a more complex character. She doesn't fit anywhere with her socialite friends and the glamour world and the ritzy parties. The small town gave her peace and happiness. I feel she was a bit too overprotective over Hana and let Hana go away with too many casualties. She also put herself in danger repeatedly. The romance was somehow lacking for me. I feel Blake and Hutch had this heartaching enemies to lovers beginning and there was a chance to explore it more. But they were thrust together into this forced proximity situation and they almost immediately fall back into the role of lust fuelled passionate lovers. Again, it felt a bit disjointed and I was all over the place.

Yet another disappointment from Louise. I was promised a capable, strong woman. Except Blake veers from damsel in distress to doofus who runs around doing stupid things without thinking.

The book was supposed to be enemies to lovers. But the enemies bit fizzled out very quickly as she falls into his arms almost instantly. Reminds me of one of Louise’s other books “Tangled Up” , where the man is forgiven pretty quickly. What’s up with this genre? Can I get a good grovel? Can a woman who claims to be pissed off for five years over a betrayal hold onto her rage for more than two days after she sees this guy in person again? The words on page claim she’s tough but the story conveys her constant weakness.

Hutch seems like a sanctimonious judgmental jerk. And I say this as someone who can be a judgmental jerk myself. He really was unlikable. Sure he’s supposedly hot and he’s not a “shoot now talk later “ guy but still. He’s supposed to protect her at her uncle’s request. But the way he talks about Blake’s sister and the role he played in ruining the early part of her life is pretty unfortunate and brushed aside, like in “Boss of Me”.

In the end, neither was likable and the underlying mystery plot petered out. Also, what’s the connection between our lead pair, beyond the physical? Not much!

Also this whole “small towns are awesome, big cities suck”— please spare me. Small towns can be filled with sanctimonious, awful people and you can’t escape them. Let’s not valorize them over city people.

2.5 stars.

I had such a hard time getting into this book. I just kept waiting to feel that rush of excitement and the connection between Hutch and Blake, but it never came.

Hutch and Blake have had something between them even when Blake wasn't of legal age-- not that that line was ever crossed -- but the man she once adored ruined her life in a blink of an eye, and now that same man has to keep her safe from all the danger lurking around her.

Overall this wasn't a bad book per say, I just was waiting for more. I didn't feel the intensity of their love no matter how hard I tried, but I did enjoy the suspense element. I just wish I liked both of our main characters more.

I really enjoyed this book, especially the first half! Despite hating the guy who was meant to protect her, there was undeniable tension between both Blake and Hutch. These two will have you fanning yourself, cause wow. I love how their relationship developed throughout the story.

The plot itself was really intriguing!! Romance with a murder plot??? sign me up. I have to say that I was a bit confused at times, but the ending tied things up really nicely!! I NEED scar & hana’s book RIGHT NOW.

Blake doesn't want protection. Especially not from him. She can't stand Hutch or the feelings she gets when she is near him. Hutch is only protecting her as a favor to a friend. Or does the need to protect her overtake him?

Wow! Wow! Wow! This book blew my mind! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Full of so much passion and mystery. I couldn't stop reading. Blake and Hutch will grab your attention immediately and won't let go! Gah! I loved every word!

Tia has once again brought her A game with Fearless. It checked off all my boxes and so much more.
A sexy, sassy socialite in Blake and an ex- military, grouchy, alpha male with a huge side of protectiveness and quite the naughty mouth.
Blake and Hutch have a history and that made them enemies but now five years later Blake is back, and Hutch made a promise to protect her and her sister. Amazon / Amazon PB / Discreet PB / *𝘍𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘦 𝘜𝘯𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥! 𝘈𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘯

Blake and Hutch have history, have been in each other's lives since their teens. Now in the present, who better to protect her than the world's most protective (and alpha and possessive) guy? She may not be very fond of him, or so she says to herself, but no one can do a better job of protecting her than the man who's been protecting her for years, even without her knowing it.

Hutch has always had er...conflicting... feelings for the woman he's been charged with protecting. He can't help but be fiercely attracted to her even though he knows he's the last person she wants. He has a slight knight in shining armor complex, and no one ignites it more than Blake. Things are upside down right now, though, and more than one problem has arisen. Blake wants to protect her sister, Hutch wants to protect Blake, and there are forces outside of them that are making everything dangerous for them. If they could just get through it, he can figure out what to do with those inconvenient feelings he has for her.

Hutch and Blake are fire!! The chemistry between them is so damn hot I felt my Kindle catch flame while reading, and I loved every word! Blake is the kind of heroine I love most - feisty, strong, and not willing to admit at first she's fallen for her man. Speaking of that man...Hutch is just as hot as their chemistry, plus he's got the whole alpha protective possessive thing going on, he's like catnip for me, whew! Suspense, intensely hot scenes, and a great cast make this one of Tia's best yet. Can't wait for whatever she gives us next now.

Tia Louise’s Fearless is a departure from her more light contemporary romances but still balances steam, angst, romance now with a dollop of exciting suspense.

Blake’s world crumbled around her shortly after her father died when she was sixteen years old. Her younger sister was in a precarious situation; her mother was indifferent while her mother’s lover threatened to ruin everything and Blake was sent away.

Seven years later, Blake is back determined to protect her sister and find answers that put her in danger and Hutch Winston is there the protect her even if she despises him. But the tension and attraction between them if difficult to ignore.

I was hooked on this story right from the start with that prologue and could hardly put it down. I loved Hutch Winston! He’s a grumpy alpha-male (protective and possessive) with dirty mouth and a hero complex and he was resolute in keeping Blake safe. Blake was simply FEARLESS!

The heat between them has sizzling hot. I love how their romance developed. They both needed saving and were perfect for each other. I can’t wait to read more in this series.

FEARLESS is a standalone, romantic suspense by Tia Louise. Told from both points of view, with a happy ending. Tropes: enemies to lovers | forced proximity | small town | military |

5 star Review Fearless by Tia Louise
Whenever I pick up a book to read by Tia Louise I know I am in for a well written, entertaining story with characters who you cannot help but fall for.
I fell hard and fast for Hutch Winston, there is something about him that ticked the boxes for me. Tasked with protecting Blake van Hamilton, a woman who cannot stand him, he is determined to do his job.
Complicating matters is the intense chemistry that sizzles between them. Fearless is a passionate, steamy story with some angst, romance and suspense. In my opinion Tia Louise is one of the best writers of romantic suspense. There are equal parts of romance and suspense which will keep you on the edge of your seats. The characters are engaging and you can feel their emotions as they come together again thanks to some meddling from an uncle who I adored.

I don't think I've read anything as suspenseful as this one from Tia Louise. The storyline and the plot are so thrilling you just get sucked into it, and you ended up so invested that you couldn't put the book down. And come on, Hutch and Blake are amazing characters to read. There are so much to them and still, throughout the story, you can see the development in their characters, especially Blake.

The two of them together are explosive. There's an intense connection between them years ago and even now, years later it's still as intense or even more. Hutch, for some reason, has always felt protective of Blake and that's how she got sent away. So she despises him for that and what happened to her little sister, Hana. And now Hutch is to protect her from whatever threat there is. Could they move past their history and admit their attraction and chemistry between them?

Their story really intrigued me and I couldn't put it down. But even now, I still have so many questions because I don't think the story's quite done yet. So I'm definitely looking forward to Hana and Scar's story, ASAP!

I received an arc for a honest review.

The suspense was real!!! I've read a few of Tia Louise's books, and this is totally different from the books that I've read. I was not expecting it to be somewhat dark, but I freaking love it!!!⁣

After Blake's father's death, looks like everything was falling apart for her. She was sent to a boarding school by her mom because of Hutch. She then was mad at Hutch for being a part of it. Years later, her best friend turns up dead, and her uncle tells her to come home just to found out that he went missing. There was no one else who would be able to help her besides Hutch. She was still mad at him, but she needs him.

The chemistry was amazing. Love Hutch and Blake so much!!! But I feel there were quite a lot of stuff was going on that it was quite confusing at times. However, I do love the suspense and the mystery that was going on. I really do hope we will get the sister's story. Keeping my fingers crossed. That one will definitely be a dark romance for sure.

If you love a protective, alpha hero, pick this one up!!!

When Blake’s father passed away it forever changed her life as well as her sister Hana. Since then, her only concern is trying to keep them safe so when their uncle suggests they come stay with him she believes it is the reprieve she needs only to arrive and find that her uncle may be gone but the man she holds responsible for the events of the past is there.

Hutch is very good friends with Blake’s uncle and has been denying his attraction to Blake for years. When she arrives, he is about to realize that he never really knew her at all as they find themselves trying to uncover the secrets of the past even as the threats escalate around them.

Hutch is determined to protect Blake, but Blake proves they are much stronger together than apart as they take us on a journey filled with hot chemistry, intrigue and surprises you don’t coming and a story you won’t be able to put down.

I don’t know what to think about this book. I enjoyed the suspense element, and it was scorching hot, but I couldn’t buy the romance.

The attraction between Hutch and Blake was there for sure, even when Blake was underage. And maybe the forbidden aspect could have been used a bit more–but that’s more a preference than a flaw of the story. But I didn’t see the switch from desire to love. They don’t talk a lot, they have nothing in common, and most of their early interactions are full of anger and hate. So when did they develop feelings for each other?

Probably in bed–or anywhere they decide to do it. That might be the hotest book by this author so far. Hutch shows no restraint. He’s a passionate man, and he’s wanted Blake for a decade. Once they’re together, there’s some steam.

There were a few conflicts to keep it interesting, though I felt they were resolved quickly. Mostly, it stemmed from their family: Hutch is his niece’s guardian, and Blake takes care of her messed-up sister. They both feared that their charge wouldn’t be accepted if they started a serious relationship. The niece and the sister were at the center of some of the best scenes outside of the romance or the investigation.

I’m still not sure all the suspense elements made sense in the end. I loved that the investigation brought an eerie and disturbing atmostphere at times–especially when they’re in New York, but some characters were also just creepy–or action scenes.

Though it is a standalone, some questions are left unanswered, with a hint at next book’s main characters and plot. I’m curious now.

I think this is Tia's hottest book to date. This was a scorching sexy romance with a mix of suspense and a little angst.

I love a good enemies to lovers book.Add in some suspense and bam this book has everything I love. This book will get your blood pumping.

I absolutely loved everything about this book. Hutch is sexy  but at the same time sweet as molasses. Blake is a spirfire who is strong and confident. Together they are combustible.

The story has lots of depth and character. You'll love little Pepper and definitely salavsye for more of Scar and Hanna and even Dirk.

Absolutely Fantastic.!
As soon as I read the first chapter of Fearless I knew this book was a winner,it held so much promise that it was goingbto be a wild ride.
My curiosity was instantly peaked and the air of mystery had me licking my lips in excitement, especially at the thought of Blake and Hutch Sparring with their words, clashing with their personalities and uniting with their bodies.
The sexual tension reeked from the pages with these two,it had been bubbling for years.Hutch and Blake are so hot and heavy but sweet and emotional at times to,as they take on a threat that clouds Blake's life.A threat that is targeting both Blake and her sister Hana,so Blake's uncle Hugh intervenes to get the girls out of New York and staying with him in Hamiltown. He asks the man who he treats like a son Hutch Winston to protect the girls.Ex Military and now a private detective Hutch has a shaky past with Blake,he has pined for her for years. But did something to help her that made Blake hate him.So their reunion will not be a favourable one....but when they arrive and uncle Hugh is missing this is where the journey to find the threat and uncle Hugh begins and the journey to unexpected feelings of Love and attraction begins.
I honestly could not take my eyes from the pages I just wanted to read and read and read until I found out all I needed to know about Hutch and Blake.
But it also leaves you wanting more, not just from Hutch and Blake but from the side Characters too,I am already excited to see what happens between Hana and Scar..and what plans Tia has for Dirk I want to know everything !!
Tia Louise has excelled herself with this story it is intense, gripping, steamy and captivating and I am certain Tia's writing just keeps getting better.
Fearless is an Incredibly addictive read,If you love a little mystery with your Romance then Fearless is the book for you.
I Loved it and Highly recommend it.

Just want to quickly say thank you to Tia Louise for a copy this book. I really really enjoyed getting to know Blake and Hutch.

Fearless is steamy as heck, hate to love, emotional slow burn, forced proximity, brooding grumpy protector and an age gap romance in a suspenseful romance book of “who did it?” and “who is innocent and guilty?”

The book is action filled, quick paced and you’re wondering page after page what is going on, who did it? Who is the villain? Everyone is guilty? Hutch is meant to protect Blake and her sister while shady things are happening, people you think you can trust, you can’t and Blake is PISSED. she feels resentment and anger towards him despite his best efforts to protect her, I will say they are both very stubborn characters which push and pull at each other every step of the way. They really do have to work at it to see and understand each other, it just takes a while which adds to the angst. Overall I am really liking the direction of this series and I am so excited to read the next book because it sounds so tension filled and honestly I love how Tia has written suspenseful romance thus far and honestly that man is HOT! I love a good brooding grump that is protective and a little stubborn. Makes for a fire dynamic.
