Jillian if you’re reading this:

Your work reads like a mid-tier fanfiction. There’s too much telling and not enough showing. I know you have some talent and I really want you to be able to nurture it and improve because I KNOW that with some advice and practice you can get better. But I’m going to have to be honest, this book and the first one in this series are the worst books I have read this year. Worst story overall? No. That was a comic. But this series reminds me so very much of that comic and that is not a good thing.
I really want you to improve and succeed.

Vicious Queen is the second installment within the Princes of Devil's Creek series. In it, we are still following the same group of people from the first book. The devils are still trying to win over their queen. They are also trying to protect her from getting kidnapped by their enemies. Honestly, so much happens in this book and I'm not okay with how things ended either.

The guys are definitely starting to grow on me. At first, Marcello was my absolute favorite. Heck, he still is winning in my eyes. Yet, the other three are definitely pulling their weight now. If only Luca could just relax and let Alex in more. The whiplash he constantly gives me can definitely be annoying, but I get that he has a lot of crap to do because he's the leader.

I'm also not surprised that about a certain reveal about a certain someone. It was honestly bound to happen since certain things weren't being used during certain scenarios. So, yeah, I'm happy but not happy at the same time because of the stupid cliffhanger.

Speaking of that, are we finally going to meet mommy dearest? That's what I'm thinking right now. I just hope that the guys have more tricks up their sleeves so that they can save her before it's too late. I mean, she just accepted them all. We also received certain news. Ugh, I'm freaking out and need the next book now.

Absolutely hot!

Alexandrea becoming acclimated in her role as queen to the four in this secret society: Broody, dominating Luca; always protective and sweet yet alpha Marcello; loving and comforting Bastian; and crazy Damian. And they willing and often compelled serve her, the most tumultuous rapport being Alex and Luca, her former biggest bully.

A continuation of book 1, though in this storyline Alex and her guys begin to resolve former differences and work through growing pains. Revelations are brought to fore airing painful histories and explaining their acrimony and their roles in the future with hints of the Cadets side story.

Great character development, I enjoyed each character uniquely, each expressing different behaviors, influenced by their pasts and the dynamics of their interrelationship. This was a medium to fast pace story underpinned with mystery and a lot of spice, like five chili peppers! Their chemistry was explosive. If I were to note anything it would that while I loved all the spicy -- I really did -- the "motions" themselves were repetitive, similar, and very little group activity. Sure, they might have been in the same room, but they didn't necessarily "interact" with the heroine at the same time. Additionally, the writing felt a bit disjointed at times, needing transitions from scene to scene, event to event, or activity.

Overall, there was lots to like. An entertaining, suspenseful, and spicy read. Curious what will happen to this group and their society in the future.

This was a 3.5 star read for me. Luca is my favorite of the guys but that's just my toxicity coming to light 😆 I still thoroughly enjoyed the guys but there were some plot holes and inconsistencies that I couldn't ignore.

Some of the smut was decent, some didn't make sense and some was hard to follow.

First...why do the knights need a queen? I get that they want to make Alex queen to unite the families and keep her protected but that can be done by just marrying a Salvatore. And how would it be in the charter if Alex is the first queen? And why can't knights be inducted without Alex being queen? It makes my head hurt trying to figure that out.

There were a few inconsistencies with some of the smut scenes. The author wrote that Alex's hands were bound and hung from the ceiling but in the same scene she writes that her arms are around one of the brothers necks and then on the chest of another one. How is that happening?

Also, they are so careful with Alex. They make sure she is always guarded and protected but then when a door they know they locked is left open all logic is thrown out the window.

I am still going to continue with the series even though one of the worst tropes in the world was introduced 😑. I'm interested to see what happens next. The end of the book seemed a bit strange to me. It was unpredictable but unsatisfying in my opinion. Let's see what the next book brings.

Can I just say...... ....This time around at least... Like I feel like they still haven't done enough to build her trust yk??? Because I feel like the cliffhanger in the last book was for nothing... And then the cliffhanger for this book is *yawn*

Like Ms Gurl has only been tortured by her ... but even then it was like sexual torture??? Like nonconsenual most the time which is a big no. SMH!! LET HER GET TORTURED BY THE RUSSIANS!! (No offence Drea...)

This book is still kind of a miss for me, only because I felt the plot was a bit everywhere, there was a lot of showing and telling... and ye? It was a lot..

BUT!!! I did like this book better than the first one... but only by a little bit. Damian's character development? WAYYYY BETTER!!! And the others to ig.. But I know that the author has A LOT of potential tho.. maybe this just wasn't my cup of tea. But I will read the third book, so hopefully it pulls everything together nicely ig..

Anywho.. there's my 2 cents. Do with it what you will... (I don't think that's the right saying lmfao)

I absolutely hated the whiney bitch this female lead character was. She could do nothing for herself, was an immature petty bitch, and overall had zero depth. The sexual chemistry was...not there...at all. I'm not sure how this series is all my friends have been raging over. I couldn't even finish it. Got about 60% through, and chose to find something more interesting on wattpad, which tells you how unbelievably juvenile this was. Perhaps this author will have better luck in the future. :(

I really don’t know why I put myself through another book in this series 😂 they are awful… but I feel this compulsion to know what happens… or I did till my least favourite trope appeared… pregnancy… ugh I’m out- the spice gets very repetitive in this one and it’s way more spice than plot… had pregnancy not shown up I might have read the last one one but nah I’m out

Look. Bookstagram and BookTok need to stop recommending books solely based on how much sex is in it. This (and the first) book was honestly 85% sex and 15% really bad plot. I'm not even going to talk about grammatical and spelling errors. I read the first two books and I STILL don't understand why they need a queen. It doesn't make any sense. There has to be more to a book than the spicy scenes, honestly. There is so much sex that it became very repetitive and boring.

The Plot? Alex is in danger...oh no. They save her while she's terrified. They have sex. All Alex does is ride and suck d**k the entire time.

Why is it called "Vicious Queen"?? I can't figure it out. She cries all of the time, has no backbone, and just gives the four men what they want - her body. There is literally nothing vicious about her whatsoever. I thought she was going to turn into some kind of badass from the first book to this one but no. She extremely unrelatable, whiney, and a doormat for the boys. It should have been called, "The Cry Baby Queen".

Also, am I missing something but aren't they all brothers? So...Bastian and Damien and incest?

Also, that scene where she had like 12 orgasms in a row? No way.

And don’t get me started on the surprise pregnancy trope. There is nothing I despise more. A woman who doesn’t realize that she hasn’t had her period in three months?! She doesn’t exist.

Cruel Princes #1 should be read first which flows beautifully into Vicious Queen.
Alex has accepted her situation and has learned so much about her Devils but she still doesn't take any crap from them. She hasn't decided whether to accept Luca's marriage proposal.
"No matter how much I denied my feelings for her, I would always need Alex. She was the angel on my shoulder when the Devil made me sin. And with my girl, I wanted to do a lot of sinning."
With a bounty on Alex's head a war is on the forefront. The villain seems to be one step ahead of them. Now that things have shifted in the household it is more important than ever to protect Alex.
It ends in a cliffy but so worth the wait!! Can't wait for next installment  Savage Knights!!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Once upon a time, I hated the princes of Devil's Creek. Luca, Bastian, Marcello and Damian. Those brutal billionaire bullies were my enemies. Until I realized there are worse men in this world...and those men will sop at nothing to capture me. The heir to the Wellington fortune. The Queen of the Devil's Knights. I still haven't given my boyfriends for years of cruelty. But after the bonds we formed, they've worked their way into my heart. They say uneasy is the head that wears a crown. Well, I'll show the men who think they can control me just how vicious this queen can be.

This is the second book in the Princes of Devil's Creek. You have to read Cruel Princes first or you are not going to know what is going on. It is also a little on the dark side but it is a reverse harem book too and I have to warn you that this one might just light your kindle on fire. Alex and her guy Bastian, Luca, Marcella and Damien are pure fire. This book picks up right were the last one left off and it left off on quiet the cliffhanger. The goal has always been to protect their queen. The heir to the Wellington fortune and she is falling hard for her guys. Especially Bastian. But she has to marry one and I don't think she quiets knows that yet but Luca knows and now that things are really getting crazy he has to make his move even if he isn't quiet sure what Alex will think of all this. After all the Queen needs a King or in this case Kings. This book will also keep you one your toes. It is fast paced and things are happening like crazy. I just thought the first book was crazy and I don't know if you are going to be able to guess everything that is going to happen in this book. I fell for all of them in the first book but I have to say that Alex really grows a lot in this book and it was so amazing to watch her find her strength, hold her own with the guys by not taking everything they throw in her direction especially Luca. Where once she wasn't really sure what to say or think now she knows exactly what to do and she isn't holding anything back.
The guys have been protecting Alex and making her life really hard for years and they will still do what they have to do to keep her safe and with them. But, they are holding on to some serious secrets. I loved getting to know the guys more too. Luca is still Luca and man he doesn't make it easy for anyone to really say I love this guy. But you will. Trust me. Bastian and Damian are polar opposites. One a big teddy bear when it comes to Alex and the other a bit on the psycho side. Marcello is the really really sweet one and is always taking care of Alex. Don't feel bad either if you wanna punch Luca in the fast sixty seven time. I think that just him in a nutshell and he isn't changing for anyone. He is after all the leader and he does have a lot on his shoulders.
I so wish we could give this book more than five stars. I so would in a heartbeat. It is amazing and you will not be able to put it down. I need the next book in my hands now. I am so in love with this series and you are missing a whole lot of greatness if you are not reading this series!!!!

Couldn't Finish

I tried. I really tried. When I reviewed book 1 I said I couldn't stand a weak MC. But, I was willing to see if anything changed in book 2 and maybe she would grow as a person. No such luck! I have no idea what makes Alex anything other than an idiot who cries and whines and allows these guys to do and say anything to her. Oh, she gets weepy and cries about how Luca can be so mean. But then she's saying how much she loves him and wants him to love her...and he responds that he doesn't love anything or anyone. She's a means to an end and she has no choice but to be his wife. She tells him she doesn't want to be his wife, but then he scares the crap out of her, chokes her, and the next thing you know they're having sex...because, you know, he so amazing (insert eye roll here). I made it to about 70% completion of this book and just couldn't do it anymore. I was actually begging for the Russian mafia to get her and get rid of her. It's a waste of time to read this series unless you're into weak women who want men to dominate them in and out of the bedroom. If you like a character who just goes along with the flow and accepts that there's nothing she can do about her fate, then this is the book for you. Alex has no back bone at all. I have no idea why she claims to love them, because other than Marcello, all of them treated her really badly. The author never shows you any good side of any of them and makes it seem like Alex is ok with it because that's just the way they are. It was irritating and disappointing. I guess I'm done ranting. I didn't finish this book, and I won't be reading the next one either.

Vicious Queen by Jillian Frost is an amazing RH story that I honestly could not put down. This is book two in the Princes of Devil’s Creek series and book one is a must read. This story has everything in it that an erotica book needs. It is jammed full of handsome powerful men, violence, lots and lots of sex, suspense, and a plot twist. At one point in the book (and when you get to it you will know) I just stopped and had to gather my composure. I was like “Oh No! Jillian Frost did not just go there.” I think my heart literally stopped for a second or two. The story line was not necessarily unique, but the writing was. Frost’s descriptions made it feel like you could really hear the ocean crashing and smell the salty air. I loved the Knights (Luca, Marcello, Bastian, Damian) and how each one was different and had their own purpose and way of handling Alexandrea. This really is an excellent read and had so many “Oh my gosh” moments that I was kept on the edge of my seat. 5 crossed swords for Vicious Queen by Jillian Frost.
Alexandrea Wellington has known that she must marry one of the Salvatore brothers. They have all tormented her and bullied her from the moment she stepped foot in Devil’s Creek. Now that she is back, Alex is no longer in danger from the Knights, now there is someone else hunting her. The Knights have sworn to lay down their lives for their Queen but what happens when the Queen becomes just as vicious as her precious Knights?

I loved the first book but the second book not so much. I think my main reason of dislike comes from the fact that Luca is an a-hole!!! They all, except for Marcello, are a -holes, but Luca is the ringleader. In book one it sort of made sense, even if her reaction (IMO made no sense whatsoever) there was no way 4 guys could bully you into having sex with them that easily. The meaner they were to her the more she wanted them. That was more than odd to me. But by the end I sort of understood what was going on. AND we got to see a bit of Luca’s softer side. But in book two Luca is STILL FULL ON A-HOLE! Even though he has admitted to his brothers that she isn’t to blame, and that he “cares about her,” he treats her terribly. I like bully romances to an extent, but this series is shaping up to be JUST BULLYING, with no romance!

What can I say this series has everything, it is jammed packed full of handsome powerful men, violence/action, lots of spicey scenes (Like a lot), suspense, and crazy explosive plot twists that change the course of the character's development. There were many times I had to just stop and take a breather to compose myself, it was intense. The writing of this book is quite unique as Jillian Frost's descriptions of certain scenes really made you feel like you were there or could see this stuff happening. I think it's a book worth reading for anyone who loves good smutty reverse harem books. I can't wait to read the third book of this series, I need to know where this story is going.

The second book in this trilogy was not as engaging as the first book.

RATING: ⭐⭐⭐
STEAM: 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Drea and the four Salvatore boys are on the run to protect her from the Russians and other parties who want to compromise her for revenge. Allies and armies are rallying around them, but there seems to be a traitor in the midst.

The beginning and the end were engaging. The action keeps me glued to the pages, wondering what is going to happen next. It's what happens in between that was just okay for me. There is a lot of repetition, especially in the conflict between Drea and Luca. Like Drea, I want to pull my hair out at Luca's hot-and-cold act. I'm sure that there is a good reason, which is why I am going to read Book 3, but I found myself being more drawn to chapters covering Drea's connection with Luca's brothers.

Drea was the saving grace of this read. Her character development -- asserting herself with the brothers -- was great to see. Marcello, Bastian, and even poor broken Damian have brought the charm in this book. We just need grumpy Luca to get with the program.

OKAYYYYYY 🥵🔥🥵🔥🥵
So, I’ve been waiting for this book to be released for what felt like forever so I am not surprised that I knocked it out in one night. I am absolutely in love with the first book in this series & I had high hopes for this book. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!
I love that there was so much growth between Alex & each of her men but especially with Luca. I felt like we got to see how each man cares for Alex in their own way in this book whereas the first book, we got to know them on almost a surface level. In the review I left for ‘Cruel Princes’ I made the comment how Marcello was my favorite out of the group & that has not changed but let me tell you, if you agree - BE PREPARED!!! That’s all I can say without any spoilers. Also, I thought the first book was panty melting hot, oh it had nothing on what is in this book. Oh. My. God. I had my fingers crossed for a little M/M & I think it was done SO well for the story line. I was not expecting the ending though. I can’t believe I have to wait AGAIN to continue the story.
In all honesty, this series has became one of my absolute favorites.

Wow - what a book!

Vicious Queen is the continuation of the story Cruel Princes #1 and did not disappoint at all.

As Alex becomes more comfortable with the four Salvatore boys her feelings become stronger for each of them - loving and definitely needing them in different ways. Their need to protect their Queen gets stronger each day.

Like book one there is so much drama in this book and the roller coaster of emotions it took me through kept me on my toes as to what would happen next. It's definitely a page turner and finishing on another cliff-hanger keeps you wanting more.

Jillian Frost is knocking this series out of the park and I cannot wait for the next instalment.

I enjoyed the second book in the "Princes of Devil Creek" series. I am give this book 3.5 stars- it's slightly more "entertaining" than the first book. I recommend this series if you enjoy reading RH billionaire Mafia tropes. It's well written, edited, has a plot, and plenty of toe curling juicy bits.

⚠️Trigger Warnings ⚠️

Post Script
I wanted to give this book 4 stars but the prolific use of the word "catacombs" is incorrect. If this book is ever republished I hope the publisher will rectify the use of this word with a more appropriate substitute.

This book...this book...I don't think I've read something so steamy in my life! No joke. It burns the pages - not once, not twice but NUMEROUS times. And the storyline - SO good! Alex has her hands full handling her men, but the queen has a bounty on her head. Her men, her Knights, have their hands full keeping her safe. Villains lurk around every corner waiting for the right moment to strike, not only for the money but to also cripple the Knights.

I loved reading every word of Vicious Queen. Fantastic plot, well developed characters, suspense, villains you hate, villains you love, STEAM - all had me flipping pages to see what would happen next. Savage Knights, the final book in the series, cannot be released soon enough! There are so many layers to this plot that I cannot wait to peel them back and see how this this story ends. I think we are in for several surprises. Download this book. Read this book. You will absolutely love it!

Perfection!! Now that’s how you BOSS UP! This is quickly becoming one of my all time favorite series.

Alex is phenomenal, she is not that scared girl anymore. He!! no she is a MFKN Queen and a Queen that claims her Knights. I love how she stepped up to handle business and she did not let the guys run all over her nope she pulled her big girl panties on and stood up to them. I think each of her guys brings something to the table to complete her and Alex is absolutely everything to the guys. They will burn the world to the group for her. *swoon*

This book is packed to the brim with twists and turns, revealing secrets and one he!! of a roller coaster ride that had my heart not only in my throat but stopping completely at one point. I never knew what was about to happen next. I cannot wait to see what happens in Savage Knight but let me tell you I am here for the ride.

Jillian wasn't playing with this book!!

Vicious Queen is book 2 in the Princes of Devil Creek series, and you have to read Cruel Princes first!!

We pick up right where we left off, from that epic cliffhanger in Cruel Princes, and from there on, its fast paced, action packed, and keeps you guessing what's gonna happen next.

Alex has really grown, and shows so much strength in this book. She doesnt hold anything back, and doesnt take crap from the guys. She will very easily put them in their place now, and I love it!!!

The guys are still keeping a lot of secrets, but they will do whatever it takes to keep their queen safe. I wanted to but punch Luca so many times, but i still kinda love him. Marcello is still his sweet, sexy self and takes care of Alex. We even get some backstory on Damian and Bastian and I couldn't stop reading! I loved getting to see some of our favorites from the Cadet series too!!

This book is AMAZING, the spice is INCREDIBLE, and I can't wait to see whats coming next after that cliffhanger!!

Vicious Queen, the second book in the Princes of Devil’s Creek series by Jillian Frost has melted my kindle into a sad puddle🔥🔥🔥 The spice level of this smoking hot RH story has leveled up through the roof and I had to keep pushing family members away with sham ploys to be able read solitarily. As you most likely have read the first book to start this one, you know that the storyline is quite enthralling and intricate and it gets even more complicated filled by secrets revealed in the Vicious Queen. The secret society aspect is explained much better so we start to really understand what to expect and what’s on the line. Now, there is nothing to do except wait for the conclusion to this brilliant trilogy that is said to come out in May but maybe, our beloved author Jillian Frost take pity on us and move the date up🙏🏻

Can I just say I love what you wrote for the dedication in this series. I wish I read this book slower but it was so intriguing and suspenseful!

I’m typically good at predicting what happens in books and with this I was clueless the whole time, especially with the plot twist at the end!!!

I love how you touched on all four of the Salvatore boys interest, weakness, and their back story. Truly cannot wait for Savage Knights . “what binds us will destroy us”
