I LOVED I MEAN LOVEDDDDDDDDDDD Katherine. She's suffered a lot in her life but despite that she is so strong and fierce. The more I found out about her the more I wanted to be best friends with her.

Lorenzo and Katherine end up together after Lorenzo shows up to take out her husband in the hospital but Katherine agrees to do ANYTHING in order to save her husband and she ends up in Italy with Lorenzo and soon ends up realizing that maybe just maybe there's a reason why it didn't work with the others. The spice was top tier. I devoured this.

This dark mafia romance is spiiicy from front to cover. Kate is a badass who gets stuck in unfortunate amount of events… Lorenzo is a mobster who falls in love!! 🥵 Definitely a page turner & really enjoyed it!
I find the next book intriguing & conflicting because the love interest… but I’m starting it as soon as I finish this review.😉

I’m currently obsessed with this author and this series! Firstly if you’re in a funk or nothing is catching your interest right now, read this book! I felt like I was hitting a lull in reading and this book pulled me out of it! It has everything! The spice is crazy good 🥵🥵🥵 I’m keeping some of those details for myself because the surprise of it was the best part! Katherine offers herself to the devil and he accepts…. All too easily. Unknowingly she fixes all of his problems while adding a whole bunch to her own plate. This is a mafia romance and you’re well aware of that while reading however the author makes you see the characters and at some points their character and relationship growth is the sole focus and the plot is drowned out for a second. This was my favorite part I don’t think I explained that well so just go read it you’ll know what I mean after.😂

Why did it take so long for me to finish this short book you ask? Because it was the worst thing I've read in a very long time. I would personally pay for an editor to fix all the typos in this book, but 75% of it could be cut out anyway. Really the only parts worth reading were the spicy pages which as least increased in frequency about halfway through. The plot line is wattpad ridiculous and the main character is a pick me girl who is so sexy but loves cheeseburgers and is apparently only tipsy after 17 shots. How many times do we need a description of every article of clothing she wears? Why is she using vanilla BODY MIST she's like 27!! I really should have judged this book by the cover which is just the title written in Arial font. I only made myself finish because I heard the second book is good and I had bought it already, but I don't think I'll be trying the second one for a while.

Mafia is a genre that I so desperately want to love, but struggle to find books that I like. This book is the exception. I really enjoyed this one. The plot was different, the heroine is strong, and the spice was SO good. I liked that Lorenzo wasn't a typical mafia guy. He was protective, but he let Katherine be her unhinged self and never tried to change her. Katherine is unhinged and I couldn't love her anymore. I love that she spoke her mind.
The spice was perfection. There were over ten scenes, different kinks, multiple partners, etc. I loved all of the scenes with multiple partners, but my favorite was when Lorenzo watched and when he joined 🥵
This would've been a 4/4.5 star read if it had been edited more. There were many misspelled words, grammatical errors, and an over use of exclamation points. I also thought Lorenzo's backstory wasn't explored enough and I wanted it to be a little more clear they were falling in love before they said, "I love you." I believe this was the authors debut novel, so I would say this is pretty good considering it's a debut.
I'm definitely reading book two because it's Lorenzo's sister and his two best friends 👀

WATTPAD IN A BOOK *drools*
I cannot get over this book! So so good that once I started reading it I couldn’t stop! Lorenzo and Katherine are such a hot, sweet couple. They start off rocky and under less than ideal circumstances for Katherine, but quickly turn into an irresistible couple. There is A LOT of hot hot smut, MFM/MMFM/FMF/MF scenes, that’ll have you literally like 🐱🦋. Not only was the smut *chefs kiss but the storyline was really good as well! This is definitely a dark romance with mafia themes, breath play, knife play, and sadism. So good! Such a sweet and wonderful author too!

Chef’s kiss to this dark mafia romance read. If there is one thing this author will do it’s know how to write some badass & attractive af male & female characters! When I tell you I wish I could join these two main leads in that mile high club 😂👌🏼 the smut is so dang hot 🥵👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I mean yeah Lorenzo sexy with his touch her & you’ll die vibes but lord Katherine babyyyyy I’m on my knees for her 😍 on top of that she’s a latina mami 😎 I was hooked on this story & love how it kept me on my toes. Also bless the playlist we were given at the beginning of the book I love when authors include those. 🥰 definitely will be reading the next book in this series.

Ahhh I’m so in love with the Vitale’s it’s not even funny 😩
Katherine is such a bad👏🏽ass👏🏽bitch! Definitely one of my new favourite heroines! She’s been through so much and as unconventional as her coping mechanisms are she’s a survivor. She so quick on her feet and able to adapt to whatever situation she’s put in. Despite how broken she feels, she’s able to put it aside and have fun and help everyone around her have fun too. Her relationships with Marco and Arianna are so precious, they both needed her in their own ways 🥺
Mr Lorenzo… sir… I would gladly beg for you and wear your belt as a necklace 🥵 I thought my heart was set with Gio and Luca but how could I possibly leave you out! I can see why the Vitale women couldn’t settle for just one of you 😮💨

I really liked Katherine and Lorenzo. Lots of trauma for both but we really only learn about Katherine's for the most part. Gio and Luca were something else.. There was a slight twist at the end with one of her ex's that I didn't see coming. Lots of spicy scenes. Some of which weren't really my favorite but didn't stop me from liking or finishing the book.
Triggers: OW/OM, but not cheating. Bl0od play, light BDSM.
Overall I really liked the book and can't wait to read Arianna's story next.

I loved this book! I wasn't expecting the multiple sexual partners in a mafia story though, I prefer my men possessive (those "touch her and die" types lol). Lorenzo was amazing though, and Kate was such a bad ass, they deserved that ending.

INTRO: This was my first K.L. Mann novel. I fell in love with her novellas and now I just want to read any word she’s ever written. *sigh. You already know what the book is about or you can read the blurb. Keep reading if you wanna know what I thought…
STORY/WRITING: K.L. Mann’s character development is superb. There are so many layers to dig beneath and arcs to climb. I love that the characters are not “fixed” by the end of the book. They’re flawed and damaged and love guides them through. They don’t need to be repaired or changed, only taken off the shelf as-is and loved anyway. I kept waiting for the FMC to be repaired somehow and it never happened, thankfully. The story had a very nice flow that allowed the love story to evolve at a reasonable pace. I’m not a fan of insta-love so this was perfect for me. There was a moment when it felt like the main characters knew each other for a year but it had only been a matter of weeks. There was a perfect pace to their growth that just plain worked!
SPICE/SMUT: Oh there is plenty of smutty smut. There is a moment when I think to myself…oh no K.L. isn’t going there aaaaaaand she ABSOLUTELY goes there. She (the writer) is fearless in her pursuit of smuttiness and is so bold about it. She doesn’t asterisk character’s choices; she just lets them be who they are without apologies or preface. I’ve come to now expect a high level of taboo smut from K.L. So, if you want to take it easy and read about missionary simplicity, you’re reading the wrong review. Prepare to drop your jaw and slow your own heartrate over and over again.
CONCLUSION: Mafia…yum, shameless smut…yas…topped off with excellent character development.

Idk why but I feel like people lie during these reviews. 1. Google translate is not you friends authors. The translation to Italian and Spanish were so off I was cringing 70% of this book. Not only that was this book has so many spelling errors to be a published book. Someone needs to get this author an editor and I’d she already has one, she needs a new one. The plot of this book is sex. Yea I love my smut too but not if the sorry telling is completely trash. The whole part with her son was a mess, as well as the epilogue. I loved how Katherine was a strong women, there very little mafia books like this. BUT, home girl was trying to set up Gio and Arianna knowing damn well she fucked him twice and didn’t tell her sister in law anything. I finished reading the book because once I start I don’t stop but there’s WAY better books out there. A 14 year old Wattpad writer could do better and so could you. Don’t read this. I really hope her re-write is better cus the books needs to.

HMMM.. It starts off so strong. Katherine is at her husbands beside when a mysterious stranger walks in. When he pulls out his weapon to end her husband, Katherine makes hes promises to go with him and basically sacrifices herself in order to save him. Just within the first chapter or two, there's mystery and excitement that you know its gonna be a good read. What bothered me and kind of took some wind out of my sails was that some things that could have been revealed later in the story to create build up, was told in the very beginning. Then Katherine is saying she's been kidnapped but you literally told him to take you! Another pet peeve i have is if its gonna be a dual pov, please don't have 80% of the book told by one person.

it didn't had much of a plot, what it did had was very basic and cliche mafia story. The most life-marking things in this book was definitely the smut scenes.. I was like *gasping emoji*

This could’ve been a good story but the amount of mistakes this had kept me from really enjoying it. It seemed like this was written, never proofed and immediately published. The amount of missing words, wrong words and spelling/grammatical errors was crazy. I’ve read plenty of KU books with mistakes, but this was the most I’ve ever seen

I love Kay & Enzo
I accidentally read book 2 first and knew about the 4some and wasn't too happy but then reading Kay's story just loved her and her survival mode and her love with Enzo is freaking hot!! Really enjoyed her story.

This was another book that I didn't know I needed! I couldn't put this book down!
Katherine is living this humble life in NY with her husband when she gets a call he has been in an accident. Little did she know w surprise visitor was on his way to the hospital as well. She strikes a deal with the stranger to spare her husband's life.
I didn't expect Katherine to be as tough as she is but you get to see it gradually reveal more and more as her back story progresses. You get to sympathize with what she has gone through in order to make who into the person she is.
Lorenzo is this brooding, closed off hottie that just does not want to give in to Katherine and reveal anything about himself.
I loved that Katherine was so smart and calculating, as well as tough as nails despite her past. I loved that Lorenzo was accidentally becoming soft only for her.
These characters are fantastic, each so very different. The plot was well rounded and gave you the world building as you go along with the story which I love. The smut was so top notch 🥵🔥🤌 I did not expect some of the scenes but oh my were they so needed!

Katherine is feisty and isn’t afraid to back down from Lorenzo. He definitely would be bored if he didn’t have someone like Katherine in his life. Omg that scene with Lorenzo’s best friends and Katherine. I really didn’t think it was going to happen. That was really hot aha. I didn’t think I could handle anymore scenes but OMG again?!!! I love the way how she pushes his buttons during smex. This book was good but it was missing something. I still felt that we hardly knew anything about Lorenzo & he’s still mysterious in a way. I was waiting to hear more about Gustavo & her relationship as well.

Couldn't put it down
Came across the author on tiktok on my fyp. She made one for this book. Once I started, I couldnt put it down! Its a stand alone, so no worry of cliffhangers. The main characters are Katherine and Lorenzo. There are a few 4 ways, and a 3 way. Some FF at the very end. I really loved everyone in the book. The main characters, the family members, the ones you are meant to dislike, etc. I loved the dark parts as well. Cant wait for the next book! Its going to be of a different couple.
