These were easy reading, sweet stories. To me they seemed to drag a bit and I skipped pages and did not feel I missed anything. It could have used better proof reading but the errors were not terribly annoying or distracting. Sometimes they were amusing. People "ascended" down the stairs, more than once. At first I thought it was a typo but after the second time I figured Angela does not know the correct usage of ascending. The good people were universally beautiful, and the evil were all ugly. There is a market for books like this and if you are in that group, you will probably enjoy this.

All the books were good. I liked how the author, developed her characters; related to god and were all great believers in Christ.
The author explained in detail the makeup of each character; their imperfections and how they managed to cope with their unique obstacles.
There were many misspellings but the reading was entertaining and uplifting.
The author did a great job in the thorough discription of the beauty of nature and how it soothes our soul. All the stories were well composed and delightful.

Great Stories, But...
These stories were great! But there were some glaring typos and a few inconsistencies to deal with. They are the sole reason I took off a star. Otherwise, I enjoyed each of the books. The characters were well crafted. The plots were interesting. It was easy for me to really get into the story.
If you enjoy inspirational, historical romance, then you might want to try this.

The best trilogy I've ever read!
I really enjoyed all the characters in each book. Characters were described in detail and their personalities came to life in the trilogy. Every book was a surprise I wasn't expecting. Each story was hard to put down. Ms. Castillo is a great author.

Sweet story
Loved all of the characters and the weaving in and out of the story. Different people who were made for each other. I bet Granny was a character in her younger days. Loved the ending.

Set of 3 books - long read
Historically correct. Interesting characters. Good plots. Took me awhile to read due to the season - yard work, planting and Little League games.

I listened to this one on audio. The narrator did a great job. Nice story and easy to listen to
