You just know that somewhere in the world the gals in the Urban Outfitters book aisle are just eating this one up. And I can’t be mad about it.

It was fine. It read very much like a Buzzfeed list article, and while I did walk away with some really great tips that I’m looking forward to exploring more (micro-investing and investing in whiskey??? color me interested!), I really had to do a double-take when the author suggested investing into cryptocurrency… like, with her whole chest. Terrible advice. That being said, collect some useful tips but do more research into them after picking up this book.

It remains clear that this book exists just to rake in an additional stream of income for the author, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. In fact… I feel inspired.

This is a fun and sometimes informative look at personal finance. I honestly though could have done without the reference to cryptocurrencies; I don’t think anyone with a brain should be touching those things.

Although this book isn’t life changing and some of the stuff is pretty simple, it is displayed in a digestible and interesting way.
