Rose lost more than just her father, a thriving career and her home world when the Spinners attacked. She lost a way of life that she needs to feel fulfilled. Leaving Earth with her sisters to start a new life on Toria sounded frightening and filled with uncertainty. But as they settle on their new home, surrounded by a new family, she cant help but hope that things might just be alright. If only she could find what her body craves.

Tark gave up on finding love a long time ago. No female on Toria would ever allow a male with his needs to claim and bond her. Not when they got a glimpse of his darker side.
With the Earth females now a permanent part of their lives, Tark is given a mission he takes very seriously.

Rose, the most beautiful female he’d ever laid eyes on, is moving to the Mega City of Tortaria to live in the royal apartment...and he is going with her.

His job seems simple enough. Protect her, teach her, and guide her in her life among his people. But that’s easier said than done. Because every night, he has to see her beautiful body on display and know she is out of his reach.

But Rose is hiding a secret of her own. One that might get them both killed. When a dark force sets their sights on Rose, it's up to Tark to keep her safe. But by doing so, they both discover that they are exactly what the other needs and craves.

Knew I wouldn’t like this one. No character development earlier only to talk about her modeling left not much expectation for Rose. Her big character reveal, she’s into the Dom/sub lifestyle. Big whoop. Do authors feel the need to write BDSM into their book series somewhere? It wasn’t even done well. It’s just mulled over like this big secret until suddenly everyone is so casual about it like nbd. But there aren’t any scenes written in so it was as if the author just wanted to be sure she tried to entice fans with the idea. This book was boring. Rose was an absolute idiot when she went to the Sin Den. Uh hello dumb girl, you’re not only in a new city but a new world with alien species you don’t know well. After being warned away she still goes. She should blame herself for what followed. Granted she didn’t cause the deaths, but she was an idiot. And after the ordeal she realizes she wants to help with rebuilding the east side once the bad guys are gone.🙄
I skimmed most of this book and still was able to understand all of it because the dialogue and descriptions were so boring and predictable.
Oh and suddenly Violet is 18…when did a whole year plus pass? She was 16 at the start of this series and it didn’t seem like a year passed. But whatever.
And where is Spot, maybe the only interesting mystery.

A bit of a bait and switch. I was promised bdsm and literally got none lol. However the story I thought was enjoyable…Bor buddy why did someone you know have to get threatened in order for you to clean up the city?

More enjoyable than I expected of my least favorite of the sisters. Overall, enjoyable story.

My favorite of the 4 so far. I suspected fairly early what may be the issue. 😁
