My heart started racing as he bent down and whispered in my ear, “Because now that I’ve found you, I have no plans on letting you go. Ever.” Well fuck.

Will she manage to be the Queen that the kingdom needs, or will she crack under the pressure?
Gosh I’m really enjoying this book but Gallatea are a bunch of crooks. I’m not paying $108 for the year to read the damn thing. How can authors do this to readers. Makes me sick! Extortion at its best!
A 2.5 rounded down. This book was on the Galatea app, which was seriously awful. Do not. I repeat, DO NOT bother with this book. The app alone is the most annoying thing in the world. It gives you the first seven or eight chapters maybe to hook you and then you either have to wait 6 hours to read the next chapter, or you have to pay an insane amount of money in order to have access to the book in its entirety right away. No, thank you. There are so many better paid alternatives, such as Kindle unlimited, where you can actually get value for your money. This app is definitely not that.
As for the story, it was broken out into three "books". With the first one being Adonis and Aarya. The second one being about Adonis's brother. And then the third back to Adonis and Aarya. Actually kind of enjoyed the brothers story. The last book felt like it was literally just for reading sex scenes with some drama mixed in.
It was 100 chapters. So many holes in the story, so many typos, and then the third book is supposed to go back in time, yet I wasn't sure exactly when it was supposed to go back in time to, so it didn't really make a ton of sense how it lined up.
I would absolutely never recommend this book the way it is. However, I feel like it has some potential to be a good book if the typos were fixed and the gaps were filled. And you didn't have to pay a stupid amount of money to read it or wait 6 hours to read a chapter. Seriously, this app is so dumb. Just skip this one and anything on that app.
Did the author bother to reread their work? Was there no editor involved?? There were so many grammatical errors that it distracted from the story. I could not get over how poorly written this book is. I don’t understand the hype. The plot is there, it has the makings of an ok story but by the gods, proofread!!
I wanted to read this book as it came up as a targeted ad. I only read the first chapter and half of the second; it was as if a 15 year old wrote it. The plot sounds good, it contains some of my favourite tropes, but the writing was so poorly executed that I couldn't go on reading. It reads like a lonely school kid wrote this at lunch because they have no friends; the interactions between the characters are so stiff and unnatural, as if the author has never spoken with a real-life person before.
COMMENTS: I'm torn because I wanted to really like this, but unfortunately, I don't think this book was able to deliver. There were so many unanswered questions! The simplest of those being, what do Adonis and Aarya even look like? I barely got any physical descriptions of these two characters, it was hard to imagine what they'd look like. We got an idea of who Aarya is as a character simply because the story was told from her perspective, but we literally have no idea about Adonis. We got somewhat of an idea of who he is as a mate, but what he had to struggle through for 10 years ruling without a mate or what he personally was going through throughout this entire book, we don't have a clue. And that left the story lacking a little. Also, what in the world happened to Niya and how did she find Evan as a mate? Did I just miss that in my version that I read or does everyone not know? Also, the story was a bit too rushed. Plot after plot after plot was just thrown in and sown together in this book. 1) It didn't seem too coherent and 2) What did happen wasn't explained enough. Before we could revel in what just happened, 1o more plots were being thrown our way. I enjoyed reading through it all, but it needed a lot more planning. If you're curious, go ahead and read it, just be prepared.
This book was advertised very convincingly, so I wanted to read it (Didn't even include the same lines advertised). When I found out this book was on an INCREDIBLY STUPID app that wanted you to pay money for chapters or wait 35 hours in between 10 minute chapters, my stubborn streak kicked in. I waited MONTHS to download the whole book, reading chapters here and there as I went. I could tell that the book was poorly written with a childish plot from very early on, but like I said, I'm stubborn. Therefore, I bided my time and downloaded the entire book without reading it all. Once it was done, I decided to read. I got through 30 out of the 38 chapters, and I just can't do it anymore! Yes, I also found the PDF file online, but that was written even poorer than the one on the app. Anyways, this is a DNF for me, and good riddance. The book felt like it was written by a teenager pretending to be an adult. The idea behind the plot was compelling, but it was overshadowed with juvenile banter and useless conflict (Oh my goodness, I can't believe he can speak more than one language and he's using it to where I can't understand him. I'll show him, I'll now speak in a language he doesn't know... He'll think I'm saying something important, but really I'm just saying how it's his turn to wonder what I'm saying.) Ugh, why? Just why? Sorry, if this was harsh, but it just frustrated me to no end.
Pleasantly surprised how much I liked the story. The world building and character development was lacking but the social interactions and plot twists had me hooked.
The platform to read is awful though, the author needs to head in a new format for publishing.
Loved the book took awhile to to find on the internet because I'm not paying "Gallatea" to read it,price was ridiculous. Now I'm try into find book 2 "mine to claim".
I would say 3.5 stars rounded up. Okay look so all of this started because I keep getting those stupid instagram ads and they always have the craziest plots so I was like sure let's see what this is about. I will give the author credit where credit is due 1. Definitely not as bad as I was expecting, 2. She like what 5-6 chapters in immediately abandons the idea of a love triangle getting rid of a separate love interest for both of them which I thought was hilarious. 3. Despite the fact this is marketed as like this crazy possessive guy he's actually not that like messed up kind of possessive like he doesn't push her into having sex despite the fact that everyone already thinks they're having sex, he actually likes when she stands up and defends him and herself, and like I forget the actually line but she says something about needing him cause he's strong and she needs his help unpacking and he literally says it's like the best day ever cause she implied he was strong and it's so hilariously against so many of those like alpha male books. Like the only time he actually loses control is when she passes out- and that part I'm still confused on but like he apparently comes to pretty quickly after he sees she's fine so. I mean I definitely had low expectations, my only real complaint which again I'm not expecting Shakespeare but the grammar and spelling is truly atrocious but I kind of made a game of trying to guess the words so it wasn't the worst thing. Will I be rereading this? No probably not, but I also don't regret it cause it was so funny even if certain parts weren't intended to be funny I liked it.
These 3 books were very immature and poorly written. The first two would be okay with major editing, but the 3rd made no sense and should be scrapped altogether. Seriously it's that bad.
Characters changed how they spoke, some major ones were missing, main and major life things that were happening in the first two books were suddenly not there in the third book. It was all very exasperating.
The books had potential to be really good. They just fell short of getting there. The grammar, spelling, and punctuation were atrocious to say the least.
The characters weren't well development and they were very immature. I need to stress the immaturity of the characters was just as off putting as the character mix ups, character confusion, spelling and punctuation and grammar errors etc. All of them were immature in some major ways.
In book two queen Aarya find out she's pregnant shortly after Lexi had her baby. She finds out during a girl's night. The guys take care of Lexi's baby. Brother to King Adonis, Damien and his mate Elodie, were there helping the king and queen. They over came enemies and such. Damien met and rescued his mate while trying to liaison between two warring packs. Then there was an uprising from one of those two warring packs and Damien and Adonis and everyone had to fight against them and win and Elodie played double agent to lure the enemy into a trap that they set to draw the enemy out. So Damien and Elodie should have been in the 3rd book. They were living at the palace.
Then book 3 comes along Lexi is still pregnant, kidnapped, rescued, Aarya isn't pregnant yet, and suddenly they're having their Mating ceremony and honeymoon. They were mated in book 1. And they're after the traitorous council of alphas. Which made no sense. Well, why is that you may ask, because In Book two the council of alphas and the former King; father to Adonis Damien, and their barely there sister; were all locked up in the dungeons for plotting against the King, Adonis, which his brother Damien helped to expose. At the end of book 2 they were discussing what to do with the prisoners especially because having their mothers mate, the former King, their father, locked up was hurting her and they didn't like seeing the effects being away from her mate was having to their mother.
So book 3 is bizarre and doesn't sync with what already happened. Or is happening from the previous two books.
Book 3 is like Damien never came. And that's not the case. There were some big big events and enemies to defeat with Damien present in previous books.
Book 3 was like none of the other books occurred, but still had some details from them, while missing huge chunks of the story.
Adonis's best friends Luke, Gabe, and Evan all talked like friends do, which elevated their interactions with King Adonis, as their best friend. In the first two books the friends worried for their friend, their king. They joked and spoke openly. While also showing proper respect in situations that demanded it. Like in front of the council of alphas and public gatherings.
Then book 3 comes along and it's My Lord, Sire, My King etc. from Evan, Gabe, and Luke... A huge distancing from their friendship and speaking in ways that were not their norm from the previous two books.
So suddenly their long standing friendship relationship is scrapped for something, not even resembling the characters we got to know in the first two books.
By the third book they were basically strangers. Even asking if they can be counted on as if he wasn't certain. When in the first two books Adonis knew he could count on them it didn't need to be asked or implied it was there as his friends.
I only finished the series, because one I do not like staying a does and not finishing it and two I hoped it would get better with more development. It did not.
Book 3 had some major character mix ups and such as well. This also happened a little in the first 2 books, but was worse in book 3.
Gave 3 stars to be generous, for all 3 books, because with some editing and character building and staying true to the characters personalities and with the characters traits this could have been a much better read. I truly hope that this book gets some much needed TLC from the author and editor.
I'm glad I read it free on Galatea, even though that in and if itself was excruciating, because I would have been really unhappy paying for these unfinished, unedited books in this series.
Galatea is a horrible app to read on because even though books are "free" they force you to wait 6 or more hours between chapters, before the next chapter unlocks. Or you can buy points to unlock chapters. Which they really push. They don't even adhere to a set price to skip timer to unlock a chapter. You can earn free points, but not very many each day. It takes 10 or more points to skip a timer to unlock a single chapter, otherwise you wait for hours. I've book I didn't finish was over 14 hours between chapters. And cost 13 points to unlock chapters. It states out 6 hours like the other books then went to 8 hours then 12 then 14+. Very horrible app. The chapters are usually pretty short so waiting for several hours or in some cases a week for one chapter is ridiculous. Once I finish the current books I'm reading Galatea will be uninstalled.
Hopefully this series will get some much needed TLC from the author and Editor because if it were fixed up and was good, which it definitely could be, I could see it being printed and sold and doing well. It has great potential. I wish it had been edited and sold on Kindle. It would have been nice to read it all at once and in it's best edition.
Kindle is a better book app. They have thousands of free books as well as books you can buy. You get the whole book all at once to read at your leisure no waiting for chapters to unlock. The whole book is yours immediately on Kindle.
I hope the author uses Kindle when they decide to release or sell it. I hear they have good royalties for authors.

The concept is really interesting, I really wanted it to be good and I tried so hard to finish it. But the writing feels like it was terribly translated from another language or some AI wrote this not knowing how humans actually talk to each other. The writing felt incredibly forced and very one dimensional. I am not a writer but the entire time listening to this book, I kept re writing what the characters would say but not in a robotic way. Strange overall
It has potential. The one I read clearly had no editing so most of the dialogues were very immature and the writing is also very simple. The plot twist though is surprisingly good and I caught myself looking forward for the second book. I’m only giving 3 stars because it seriously need someone editing it.
Overall great read! I’m almost done with the “second” book with Damien and I love this couple as much as all the others! I do hate paying so much to read chapters, it ends up costing 10 times more than a regular book to read just one. And it’s not that easy to find plots and stories like this that aren’t on one of those pay to read app unfortunately. So disappointing! These dumb apps got me into these tropes and now I can rarely find books like these anywhere else besides the apps! Uggghh. Any way. I gave 4 stars bc of the whole confusion about Nia and Evan. And see I’m not the only one confused about the Nia stuff. I was tripping out going through all the previously read chapters looking for where they mentioned Nia finding Evan, but found nothing! Also they keep referencing some kind of traumatic event that happened with Nia, which was why she wasn’t into mating right away and all that, like something happened to her or almost happened, then some how she found out Evan is her mate?? Like I can kinda deal with them not mentioning how Nia and Evan met, but to mentioned (more than once) a traumatic or bad thing happening that affected Nia that much and not explain what happened it just messed up! This is my only complaint about the book besides the pay to read bull-stinky. As for grammatical errors others complain about, I guess the author went back and did some editing, bc I really didn’t notice many errors when I read. Maybe they just don’t bother me as much? But I usually notice if the grammar is really bad. So yeah, it’s another great story from the fated mates trope. Quick read, straight and to the point, which sometimes I just need a short story like this! Had a bit of spice, although I would prefer more! But I hear the “third” book is very spicy, so I’m excited about that! Love the FMC! I can’t recommend the book only bc no one should spend that much money on a book, these authors have to have a better solution to getting their work out there besides these expensive apps! I know they don’t get much money at all from the app either, the apps take so much of the profits!!

Look. I downloaded the Galatea app and decided to speed read a few series I'd gotten free chapters on, purely to satiate my curiosity for how each one played out.
I knew going in that: (1) The writing would be less-than-average, (2) We were getting into smutty territory, (3) There would be something absurdly ridiculous masquerading as a plot.
Summary: "Adonis Dimitri Grey is the current Lycan king. Ruling the kingdom for 10 years with no mate, he is facing being overthrown by those who think he is weak. Aarya Bedi is a 19-year-old werewolf, currently heartbroken when her childhood love is soul-matched with another. When Adonis and Aarya are soul-mated at the Lycan ball, Adonis struggles with dealing with a mate he never thought her would find and Aarya struggles with dealing with a mate she never wanted. Will Adonis manage to hold on to his kingdom? And will Aarya manage to be the Queen that the kingdom, and Adonis, needs?"
This was the worst of the 3 series I read. So poor, that my reading could barely qualify as real reading with how fast I was scrolling through the pages. I was most looking forward to how the former lover and Lycan mate would interact, but the corresponding scenes were possibly the most lackluster, anti-climatic, and disappointing conflicts I've ever read.
I ended up reading/perusing 80% of the entire series. Skipped a tiny portion when it crossed into other characters I had no interest in. Wouldn't recommend this series in the slightest; not for the characters, definitely not for the storytelling, and not even for the story itself.
I got the Instagram recommendation for this book like so many people out there - I searched it up on different platforms until I was able to read the whole 1st book because the app GALATEA on which it is officially published is just not suitable for any kind of reading..
*・゜゚(^O^)↝
Moving on to the book review - The book synopsis is good enough to make you want to open it and open - I did. The characters are strong and have their personalities clearly drawn..
There are some moments at the start when you think that the FEMALE lead is dumb or is just overreacting or a plot is just prolonged unnecessarily - the MALE lead though is perfectly written and has no default whatsoever except for his obvious anger issues but that's what FL is there for to control him and sooth him .. The story had some loopholes placed where you don't know what happened in the previous scene and some characters acting out where they shouldn't -
(~‾▿‾)~
On a more positive note - the side characters including families, friends were incredibly portrayed and had a very strong presence.
I loved the relationship FL and ML had with their family and friends - and of course with each other because there was no jealous unnecessary drama just some villains popped out and the story was good to go .. it was a peaceful story and I liked it !! .. ADIÓS x (◍•ᴗ•◍)✧*。
I did not finish this book, which was disappointing in itself, since I had spent SO many days clicking "next chapter" every 6-12 hours via Galatea. However, my rating is NOT because of the app, like many others, but the book itself.
Initially, I was hooked on the story, but as it progressed, it just lacked... something to really keep me hooked. There were so many inconsistencies, plot holes, and just odd narrative and writing. The stories seemed rushed. One example is a scene where the female ran to the bathroom and locked the door, but the very next sentence had the male character getting in the shower with her - when did the door unlock (or get broken down/open) & he enter the bathroom? The story is full of those inconsistencies.
I did complete "book 1" and most of "book 2", and preferred Damien & Elodie's story, but even that didn't keep me feeling like it was worth it to finish. I just wasn't enjoying it enough to find myself wanting to read vs watch a movie for my limited free time, which is pretty rare for the genre I love so much.
I round up when rating, and would ideally give this a 2.5.
I enjoyed the book. Felt like 3 in one: I didn’t love the last one. It was a weird timeline.
It’s really a 3.5 stars for me. For the first and second book it’d be 4 but the last one was like a 2.5z
There were stronger character traits in the beginning then the became perfect versions of your ideal FL and ML.
I don’t like that.
I want to see mistakes and I want the couple to have amicable disagreements. It was too tidied up to be believable. Ever the sacrificing ruler alongside greedy villains that didn’t have enough reason behind why they chose extreme violence or cruelty.
Why did he feel a claim over her? How did Luke’s become so enraged with Adonis? How can some weaker pitiful adult think they can manipulate a king?
In conclusion, the characters were one dimensional, the story lacked depth, but the spicy alpha romance was on point.
I didn't read this through that stupid app but instead found it off a website (it's linked in other reviews). I'm not sure if it was ever edited before getting released, but man was there giant gaps in the story. Every character sighs when they say or do anything. The "spicy" parts were just terrible euphemisms & quickly over. It would have potential if an editor got involved.
My rating system: 5 stars: The best I've read in a while & for sure will re-read in the future. Definitely recommending to friends. 4 stars: Still a great book, and will re-read in the future. Would possibly recommend. 3 stars: Good book, but probably too predictable. 2 stars: Finished the book, but didn't like it. 1 star: Hated it; wouldn't even finish it.
Book is a decent read but you have to be patient and wait for the time to open your chapter (6 hours if not more) or earn/purchase the points to buy the chapter(s). Hence it took me almost 3 months to read.
There are THREE books in this novel. A two part story and a book dedicated to his brothers story which is nestled in-between the main story. Was this necessary- probably not. The brother was not mentioned at all in the continuing story but his story was “plopped” between the main characters story. The author did not write a novel about Adonis’ sister so I’m wondering what was the purpose to writing the brothers story.
The book does drag quite a few times. The author should break this novel up into two or three books so the reader feels they are accomplishing the book.
When reading these books or listening to them on audio you have to remember what platform you are doing so at. These don't have editors/publishers/team to proof read. It is my knowledge that they are written by everyday people as a past time and they get paid very little for their work. With that being said you can't rate it off grammar errors or typos. This series (three book) per audio was very entertaining. I mistakenly didn't realize you could change the narrative voice. So while I was listening to the women who was awesome (she was equally bad at the cringe worthy man's verison) could have been completely changed by me in the app. It would probably have made me like the books so much more.
I liked this book a lot! The first two parts were really fast reads. Fun characters and plot. There was some points of inconsistency, specifically during the third part of the book.
Mild spoilers: On the app, in the third part of this book, the author mixed up a couple characters, like calling Evan Sophia’s mate. Another thing that tripped me up was the timeline. In the first section a lot happens. So in the third section the author mentions the events with Bradley which is fine, but if the whole Bradley thing is solved then Adonis’s brother should be there in the third part because he didn’t leave once he showed up to help with Bradley. Also, in the first part we learn that only the queen calls the king by his first name by the third part almost everyone calls him by his first name.
Honestly didn't get very far. It was all just so immature, and everyone acted exactly the same. It made all the characters very one dimensional. Moreso, Aarya was kissed by a guy once 4 years ago after which there's was no contact between them, and when he shows up again with his mate she acts like it was the greatest act of betrayal. Even as it's pointed out no one can choose their mate. It all feels so contrived and her to use that as a reason to not be happy having found her own mate feels fake. It's not like she's new to this world, so why does she act surprised by everything that happens.
This was very disappointing. The characters were flat and immature and were all very similar, almost identical. It was hard to know who was talking. Emotional lashing out is portrayed as strength. They all seem to only be able to shift when they lose control which is disappointing at best. There’s also a lot that happens that just kinda drops off like the guy who tried to hold the Queen hostage but had the wrong one? It has nothing to do with anything? Really? Or what happened to Adonis’ sister? And Hunter comes in with a bomb, threatened his Luna’s life and they just let him go because he was heartbroken? Ummm what?
