I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Kiera was less than happy that she was being ordered by her boss to drive up the mountain to deliver an urgent message to a city boy especially when the clouds were about to burst, and she was meant to be having a girl’s night with her best friend. But as a forest ranger she knows she has little choice only on her way up the mountain does the heavens open and she knows that there is no way that she is getting down that mountain tonight and when she sets eyes on Nash, she realizes that she is right where she was meant to be but is it just for one night, could she dare hope for more?

Nash had forgotten what life was like on a mountain it’s been years since he has spent time on the mountain he used to visit often with his father when they lived there. But times have changed since then and he realizes that he was ill equipped to off wandering, and ever more apparent when he falls and injures himself only to be rescued by a curvy angel, he never believed in love at first sight but one look at Kiera and he knows that what he was looking for was right here waiting for him, now can he convince her that this is no fling but their forever?

This was super super short, and I do love novellas, but this just felt too short and that they had feelings for each other way too quick. I still enjoyed reading the story just would have liked it to be a little longer. 3.8 Read

The couple: Nash and Kiera

Romance trope: insta-love
Series: Mountain Alphas
Length: 28 pages

Plot: Nash is camping in the forest/mountains, and he receives a message from his brother-in-law. Kiera, a forest ranger, is tasked with taking the message to him. But then a storm hits and the two potential lovebirds needs to find shelter, fast.

Commentary: Short story more than a book, really, but this author is good for it. I love her euphemisms and metaphors - they're always so over-the-top ridiculous, and I am here for the fun!
This one surprised me a little - it was more of a mountain woman than a mountain man, even if she ended up doing something else completely.

Grammar/formatting: A few grammatical errors (commonly confused words, for example) that could have been caught with another proofreading pass

Previous book in the series: Brock: A Curvy Woman, Mountain Man romance
Next book in the series: Dana: A Younger Woman, Older Alpha Romance

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Nash is the eighth book in the ‘’mountain alphas’’ series.
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Keira needs to get a message to a city boy vacationing in the mountains, how will it work out?
The chemistry between Nash and Keira is clear to see and I liked them together.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series.

This book was a fun twist on a mountain man romance. Nash used to be a mountain man and is now more of a city boy. When he goes to his family’s mountain home he realizes how little he’s prepared for the mountains now. Luckily Keira is there is help him out. I loved the twist that she’s really more of a mountain woman since she works as a forest ranger. Forced together due to a storm the chemistry builds and things get hot. Make sure to get the extra chapter through email because it’s extra steamy.

Keira and Nash’s Insta-love Story

Want a quick entertaining, insta-love, BBW, older man, younger woman novella? This is for you! I enjoyed following Keira and Nash on their journey to their HEA. There was just enough character development to relate to the H/h. I especially liked the Epilogue, so we get a chance to “see” their HEA in action. I’m a fan of Ms Lexi Rose! I’ll continue to take short escapes from reality with her!
