I anticipated this book featuring Sheriff Grady MacMillan and Adele Blackwell since their brilliant repartee started in the previous books. I just knew that there was a story there and that these two needed to get together. Adele is one of the nicest people anyone could ever hope to meet and when she finds herself attracted to the sheriff who keeps arresting her, she can’t help but notice how well he gets along with her twin toddlers. Widowed Adele wants to establish her independence and Sheriff Grady wants to finish the job in town and then leave Wyoming behind. The love story between these two is predictable but so heartwarming and sweet that it just needs to be read to be appreciated. The relationship develops slowly, with a plot that moves along at a good pace that allowed me to actually believe that two such different people could fall for each other. I especially enjoyed the family ties that Adele had and how protective her family was of her. I liked that the romance was satisfying and kept clean. The details of their romance left the pages of the book and just squirmed right into my heart. Infused with realism and characters that were as charming as they were charismatic, this book is one not to be missed. I still have a smile on my face from the humor in the book and the happily ever after that was so cleverly written. This book can be read as a standalone, but my opinion is that readers will not want to miss the stories of the other characters in the Blackwell family.

Her Favorite Wyoming Sheriff had so many fun moments in it. How could it not with Adele being hauled off to jail right at the beginning of the story?

I loved seeing things from both Grady and Adele’s perspectives. And while this novel had its share of lighthearted moments, there were so many moments of real depth and emotion where the reader learns about the romantic pasts for both of these characters. They both have heartbreak in their recent history and I felt it in my own heart as I read about the way things were with Adele and her late husband. It was such a clear difference from the way Grady treated Adele and the twins and made me appreciate this man who felt like he was a failure at marriage and love.

This story definitely continues the ongoing trouble that the Blackwell family and Eagle Springs are dealing with. It will make much more sense if the previous books are read beforehand. I’m looking forward to reading the final book of the series.

Going once…going twice…! Despite their best efforts, widow Adele Blackwell Kane and Sheriff Grady McMillan find each of their hearts bidding against their heads in this newest Eagle Springs installment, Her Favorite Wyoming Sheriff, by Cari Lynn Webb.
Adele, mom to sweet twin toddlers, is trying to get her auction house back up and running, desperate to pay her share of her family’s loan that the bank recently called in. There’s just one problem…she keeps getting arrested! Members of the town council are out to find any little reason to waylay Adele’s plans.
Grady is back home in Eagle Springs, having promised only to finish the former sheriff’s term. Once that time was up in a few months, he’s out of there…or so he thinks.
Two years after her husband was killed in a car accident, Adele blames herself. She’s angry and hurt. She can’t open her heart again.
Divorced Grady feels like he’s not cut out for love. After all, according to his ex-wife, he never made her happy. Which means he can never make anyone happy, right?
I thoroughly enjoyed Adele and Grady chipping away at each other’s hearts, while still trying to keep a lock on their own. I can’t wait until the next Eagle Springs book!
I received a complimentary copy of this book, but my opinion is entirely my own.

From the opening pages of Her Favorite Wyoming Sheriff by Cari Lynn Webb, I knew this book was going to be great.

Adele Blackwell Kane is smart, driven, kindhearted, and loves her community. She also can’t seem to stay out of Sheriff Grady McMillan’s sights (and not in a good way). Grady’s attraction to Adele puts his intention to leave Eagle Springs as soon as his term is over at serious risk. Both Adele and Grady have experienced grief and loss in their lives and as they open up to each other, they draw closer.

Webb adds some humorous moments with Denny (Adele’s grandmother) and Uncle Elias and some sweet ones between Grady and Adele’s twin daughters. Seriously, is there anything sweeter than a strong man bonding with little girls?

While Adele and Grady get their HEA in Her Favorite Wyoming Sheriff, the overarching question of who has is out for the Blackwell family is not solves (though a few hints are peppered in). I haven’t (yet) read the other books in this series but caught up with the bigger storyline by the middle of this book. And now I’m heading over to pre-order Nash’s story.

Thank you in advance to the author, Cari Lynn Webb, for providing a complimentary review copy. A positive review was not required nor requested, and all words are my own.

Here we are – back again in Eagle Springs for another month to check in on Denny’s branch of the Blackwell family.

This time it is the family’s favorite jailbird – Adele Blackwell Kane and Sheriff Grady McMillan’s story.

Like the previous three books, this book, and series is connected to the RETURN OF THE BLACKWELL BROTHERS and the THE BLACKWELL SISTERS, and is written the same way – with four other authors – Amy Vastine, Anna J. Steward, Melinda Curtis, and Cari Lynn Webb. Though, in this installment, the only main returning character from the two previous series is Big E – Elias Blackwell. Though, towards the end, the family is mentioned.

Ross’ Montana Match (The Blackwell Sisters #4) was my first introduction to the family, and this definitely holds up the same as that one in terms of continuity and flow.

Unlike some series books that are standalones, the fourth book of this series is better enjoyed after reading the first three – Wyoming Promise (book #1), A Wyoming Secret Proposal (book #2), and Wyoming Rodeo Rescue (book #3) since the MAIN story – saving the ranch and town, begins with with book #1.

While the main romance of each book is mostly concluded at the end of the respective books, the main story continues with small cliffhangers that are carried over into the next book.

Readers will soon find out how deep this grudge runs, and surprise – he is related to the family.

Most of the major characters from the first four books return, even if briefly (or are mentioned):

👒 Corliss – one of the five Blackwell siblings living on and working The Flying Spur
🥘 Mason – Corliss’ 13/14-yar old son (rarely seen, but mentioned)
🚒 Ryder – Eagle Springs’ new fire chief
🐎 Olivia – Ryder’s 8-year-old daughter (not seen as much)
🤠 Wyatt – youngest Blackwell sibling
🤠 Levi – Blackwell sibling, former rodeo star, injured
👒 Adele – widowed, mother of twin girls, Blackwell sibling; tends to get arrested on a regular basis
🚓 Sheriff Grady McMillan – usually arresting Adele on a regular basis
🤠 Nash – Blackwell sibling, divorced, has a son
🤠 Big E (Elias) – Denny’s older brother; lives in Montana
📱 Harper Hayes – social media influencer, accidentally married Wyatt
👒 Gran (Denny) – Matriarch of the Eagle Springs Blackwell family, owner of The Flying Spur Ranch
🐎 Isla Blackwell – Levi’s 10-year-old daughter, a bit obsessed with Summer; part of a riding club
🐎 Summer Davies – professional equestrian

Those connected with Summer in book #3 do not return, nor are they mentioned.

Readers also meet Grady’s father, Joe, who sits on the council and his “bidding” is swayed by his son’s decisions to stay or leave. And, they meet Adele’s mother-in-law, Theresa. Theresa is a doll.

Like book #3, this one begins differently from the first two as there is NO DATE listed, but it takes place October to Thanksgiving, which is right after book #3. There is a SLIGHT typo, Denny is referred to being in the hospital in September, that was actually in Wyoming Promise (Stewart), which was over the fourth of July weekend.

Moving on …

The cover is just TOO adorable with Grady and the twins. There is something about twins that is adorable!

The Green Twins (Edmond and Eleanor) clearly have it in for Adele. And, this begins with her being arrested for failure to appear on a court summons. Due to the judge’s cataract surgery, the date gets moved up. Of course, to avoid debt collectors, Adele didn’t take calls – and the court one got caught in the middle.

Of course, I was wondering why no one mailed a notice. That should say everything about the “plot” against Denny and her family right there.

What’s worse is the Green twins want poor Adele handcuffed, in front of her kids. Seriously? Someone should’ve told them that is dependent upon the sheriff’s procedures. So, y’all know right away this is personal.

Adele happens to be Grady’s favorite felon, but he isn’t planning on sticking around Eagle Springs after his term is up. Still, he does look out for the family and has an issue with what is going on. Of course, readers by now should know that Adele and Grady seem to have something going on, but both are hung up on their past. Still, Grady wonders what it would be like to be taken care of by Adele. And, she makes him consider his plans.

The judge doesn’t take Adele’s violations too seriously and lets her go with pies and fines.

That gives Big E and Denny an idea – get Adele to “woo” Grady. Their thinking? He can’t arrest his own girlfriend. They also know something is up with Grady’s father, Joe.

They also want to convince him to vote against the sale of the fairgrounds, and it is apparent Joe is into something with Xavier Howard and Frank Wesson (Cal’s brother and Denny’s former “intended”).

Adele plans to re-open the auction house to come up with her share of the loan money. This idea does become problematic when Grady is called out to arrest her for looking at some “stock”.

Most everyone is trying to convince him to stay and calls Adele a gem. And, he ends up coming to her rescue on many occasions, one is when she finds herself driving in a snowstorm – the same type that her husband died in.

Despite the two hiccups, Adele is well on her way to making the auction work. And, she’s also well on her way to seeing past the loss of Brent when Grady is around. She finally confesses to Brady that the marriage wasn’t doing well at the time of Brent’s accident. Grady confesses that while he and his ex-wife met at the right time, they married for the wrong reasons.

Though, the mastermind behind the Blackwells isn’t done, and Adele ends up facing serious charges. Though, this time it seems it could put a HUGE wedge between Adele and Grady. Or does it?

As usual, the ends on a cliffhanger as there is no conclusion to who seems to have it in for Adele. And, the readers also see Frank’s next move.

Other than the issue with the timing of Denny’s hospitalization, Webb writes in unison with the other three authors and continues the story without much deviation. Like the other books in the series, it is difficult to tell who is writing what. Webb does tend to use short chapters which keeps the story moving and doesn’t linger. The continuity is effortless on Webb’s part and she captures the characters as they were originally written.

This tends to focus more on Adele’s efforts with the auction and her relationship with Grady than the main problem of Xavier Howard.

I truly adored Adele who sounds like someone I’d want as a friend. She truly is a sweet person, but also real in that she sees what being nice has done. Though her “change” doesn’t last too long.

Those who’ve already read the first two series will probably want to check this series out. Those who have read the first three books, I suggest grabbing this one for the “bigger” story as well.

I currently have an early copy of the fifth and final book of this series – Melinda Curtis’ Wyoming Christmas Reunion, which is Nash and Helen’s reunion story. And, it is the conclusion of the main story as well. Readers should mark that as “pre-order” to see the series through, which I hope will answer some questions. That book releases in November.

I also have the complete Return of the Blackwell Brothers series to read … someday, and I also have books #1-#3 in the second series, The Blackwell Sisters. None of the characters from the first two series appear in this one except Big E.

Fans of the author are sure to enjoy this book. In addition to the Blackwell books (this one and Montana Wedding), I’ve read the last three books of her City by the Bay series in addition to three of her Three Springs, Texas series. This fits right with her books, and I’ll definitely be reading other books of hers in the future.

And, if there are more Blackwell stories … heads up … they’re on the TBR stack already! (Y’all count me in as a reader).

HER FAVOURITE WYOMING SHERIFF by @carilynnwebb is the fourth book in THE BLACKWELL’S OF EAGLE SPRINGS series and this one sees Adele Blackwell tangling with new sheriff Grady McMillan. These two are probably my favourite characters so far in this series. Both have been hurt by their past and desperately want to break free from it. Adele is tired of being seen as the one everyone has to look after especially when she’s a mother herself and capable of looking after herself. Grady just wants to see out his term as sheriff and hightail it out of town. These two become entangled as a vendetta against Adele and the wider Blackwell family is further uncovered and the family and Grady work together to protect each other and the town. I love these two for how they protect each other and their journey is a rocky one, it’s definitely not to be missed. Im so appreciative of @carilynnwebb @melcurtisauthor #amyvastine #carolross and @annajstewart for this wonderful series and the opportunity to be involved with the series in a small way. Thanks to @melcurtisauthor for sharing these stories early with me

Her Favorite Wyoming Sheriff is book #4 in the Blackwells of Eagle Springs. Cari Lynn Webb takes you on Adele Blackwell Kane's & Sheriff Grady McMillan's journey as they find love. Adele keeps getting arrested. Not for anything serious, mind you. None the less, Sheriff Grady McMillan keeps having to haul her off to the jail. Not that he minds...much. He can't seem to not want to be around her. She has some sorta light and a big kind heart which he craves. He also doesn't mind being around her two sweet twin daughters. Adele decides it's her mission to save her beloved small town from developers who are trying to buy up the lots and put in a luxury mountain resort. Of course, she's bringing Sheriff Grady right along with her. She may be stealing his heart along the way too.
I really enjoyed this sweet clean romance. I love the idea of stories based on a group of siblings like this one. It was my first book that I read in the series, but I was able to follow it no problem. I loved the history and complexity of both of these characters. I loved how we get to see lots of family interactions for both Grady and Adele. Denny and Big E are a hoot and you'll laugh out loud during their "stakeout." This book has it all. It has tears, laughter, romance, and a small town where everyone knows everything. I truly want to live in Eagle Springs. The townsfolk are people you will enjoy getting to know. Though it has an epilogue, it's not the kind of epilogue where you get to see what the future has in store for the couple. It's an epilogue that leads you into the next book. I can't wait to read the next installment of The Blackwells of Eagle Springs. I was given a copy of to read, but all opinions are my very own!

A well-written story about closing the door on past hurts in order to move toward a brighter future . . .

This is the first story in the 'The Blackwells of Eagle Springs' series that I have read. There are a large number of characters in the story, and the author provided background information on the individuals and their relationships with each other and the town.

Adele Blackwell Kane is a young widow with two-year-old twin daughters. She has a lovely spirit and is compassionate and kind toward everyone she meets. She seems to have a sunny outlook on the awkward situations in which she finds herself. I especially admired the ways in which she has modeled her positivity for her daughters. The twins are adorable in word and deed!

Temporary sheriff, Grady McMillan, was raised in Eagle Springs but he has not lived there for years. He has returned at the request of his father, Joe, to fill in as sheriff for six months. Grady is a reserved, intense man who holds his own secrets of betrayal and angst close to his heart. When Adele's lively spirit begins to awaken Grady's sleeping heart, he is understandably uncomfortable.

On top of the regular mishaps and trials of everyday life, Adele is being targeted by the town council for whatever code violations they can manufacture to hold against the young mother. Grady has to arrest her time and time again for minor infractions because several people are breathing down his neck. As a reader, I asked myself several times, Why are these people so set on ruin Adele and her plans to reopen the family's auction house?

Read this nicely-paced small town romance filled with fun, family, friends, and love. Eagle Springs, Wyoming, is a place where even newcomers can find friendship, healing, and forgiveness . . .

This book is completely clean in language and content.

I received a copy of this book from the author through JustRead Publicity Tours. All of my thoughts and opinions shared here are solely my own.

The sheriff and the "criminal" make for an unusual—but entertaining—romantic pairing in Her Favorite Wyoming Sheriff!

Widowed mother Adele Blackwell Kane keeps finding trouble, and as sheriff, Grady McMillan has quite the challenge before him to keep her out of it. Of course, their relationship progresses throughout the story with a variety of scenarios that bring them together, and it becomes more of a challenge to deny the spark between them.

Cari Lynn Webb has written a charming addition to The Blackwells of Eagle Springs series. I enjoyed getting to know Adele, Grady, and all the characters surrounding them as the romance developed. I definitely recommend it to fans of contemporary romance.

I love how you find true love when you least expect it!

Poor Adele Blackwell Kane can’t catch a break and Sheriff Grady McMillan wants nothing more than to leave Wyoming in his dust, but he also can’t help falling for the charms of the determined single mother with a beautiful heart and wonderful spirit. Pair her undeniable charm with two adorable twin daughter and Grady never stood a chance, and neither did I!

I have to say I did feel a tad out of the loop for some reason, but chalked it up to the fact that this is the first book in the series that I’ve read. Still, it’s so cute you can’t help but fall in love yourself!  All the characters are wonderful, the twins are absolute cherubs, and the air of mystery surrounding Grady’s father added the perfect tension.

Her Favorite Wyoming Sheriff was a quick read for me, and a sweet escape to witness two people trying to free themselves from the past, and end up finding each other.

I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book which I received from the author/publisher through JustRead Tours. All views and opinions expressed are completely honest, and my own.

Sweet as apple pie and as wholesome as falling snowflakes! This contemporary romance hits you right in the feels. There was so much to fall for, including relatable characters who struggled to attain their happily-ever-afters. Family drama, heartache, duty, the loss of dreams, and hope collide and it's one spectacular tale.

Who wouldn't cheer for the widowed mother who's desperately attempting to stand on her own? Adele has the biggest heart and to those who adore her, she's the best part of the entire town.

Grady is really hesitant to give his heart out again, but he quickly does so without even realizing it. He's been hurt in more ways than one and he is just bidding his time until he can escape. But he's keeping a watchful eye on more than just the town.

When these two are together all you want is for all those unsaid things to burst from their mouths. It's nearly painful, but oh so worth the wait.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and was under no obligation to post a review. The opinions expressed are my own.

A thought provoking book that will keep us on the edge of out seat waiting to see what will happen next. Although a tad confusing at times as this is the 4th book in the series. I believe if I had read all 4 books the characters in this book would have been my favorite. I like that its a clean fun romance.

Her Favorite Wyoming Sheriff set in the small town of Eagle Springs, is a tight community. At least it used to be before someone from the past returns with revenge in mind. Adelle, a widow and single mom of two young girls attempts to make it with the help of family. The Blackwell's have a strong tie to the town, but a developer has other ideas for it.

The storyline had me engaged from the beginning and I admired Adelle's strength, caring, and ability to overcome adversity. There are a lot of surprises, times of humor, and a sweet romance brewing. I loved the descriptions of the small town, everyday life of the citizens, and Adelle's two sweet daughters captured my heart.

I can't wait to read the next installment, which the ending set up for me. An exciting read about second chances, family, and forgiveness. I received an ARC from the publisher and willingly choose to review it. All opinions are my own.

Her Favorite Wyoming Sheriff by Cari Lynn Webb
Book 4 of 5: The Blackwells of Eagle Springs
She keeps finding trouble…
He keeps finding her
Adele Blackwell Kane can’t seem to not get arrested. In fact, the pretty widowed mom of twin girls might be Sheriff Grady McMillan’s favorite not-quite-a-criminal. But keeping Adele out of trouble is hard work—especially when Grady wants out of Wyoming for good. When Adele decides to rescue the town from developers, Grady wonders if his quirky felon might be stealing his heart, too…
This is Adele Blackwell Kane, her twin girls and Grady McMillan’s story.
“ADELE BLACKWELL KANE, you’re under arrest.”
The familiar deep voice straightened Adele Kane’s spine and knocked her temper forward. Not now. Surely Sheriff McMillan had other criminals to track down in Eagle Springs other than Adele. Again.
Adele pinched her eyes closed and pressed pause on her temper. Temper tantrums were excused in two-year-old toddlers like her twin daughters. Even if Adele’s arrests were beginning to add up and her anger was justified, she had to maintain her composure. Anger only made enemies, and right now, Adele needed allies.
She focused on Dale Davis, the owner of the local shipping and supply store, smiled kindly and set her tone to apologetic. “I’m sorry, Dale, for the interruption. This should only take a minute.”
Behind Adele, another man muttered, “It’s going to take exactly twenty-four hours.”
Barely six months into his term, Sheriff McMillan still kept making an impression. Beyond his height, broad shoulders and serious demeanor, Sheriff McMillan always captured Adele’s full attention. Even as he gave her indigestion for arresting her repeatedly. “Sheriff McMillan, there’s obviously been a misunderstanding.”
The sheriff watched her. His face impassive. His body still. Only his gaze was too alert, as if he tracked everyone and every detail inside the shop and out. If he believed arresting Adele was a waste of his time, he offered no tell. Her late husband would’ve admired the sheriff’s discipline and arranged for him to join his weekly poker game. Adele simply wanted the sheriff to arrange to arrest someone else in town. “What about my kids?”
“We can walk back to the station together. You can call a family member to come and pick them up.” The sheriff turned toward the entrance.
“Aren’t you going to put handcuffs on her?” Edmond refolded the paper and tucked it into his pocket.
“I’m not a flight risk,” Adele snapped.
Eleanor blinked and pulled back, adjusting her massive hat as if Adele’s rude tone had offended her and, worse, hurt the older woman’s feelings.
Adele offered a quick apology to the Green twins to soothe their ruffled feathers and held her hands out to the sheriff. “You’ll have to push the stroller now.”
I recommend this book.

I really enjoy a good Romance book and I also enjoy Harlequin Heartwarming books. The books are short and easy to read. Her Favorite Wyoming Sheriffby Cari Lynn Webb is the latest book that I have read. It is Book 4 in The Blackwells of Eagle Springs series. I have not read the first 3 books in the series and this book reads well as a Standalone book.

Adele Blackwell Kane is a widowed mom of Twin Girls. She lives in the small town of Eagle Springs. She is notorious for getting arrested by Sheriff Grady McMillian. Grady feels like Adele is his biggest task and he has to work hard to keep her in line. He is anxious for his 6-month commitment to being Sheriff to come to end so he can move out of Wyoming once and for all. He agreed to a temporary position when his father called him to offer the position, even though he no longer lived in Eagle Springs, to honor his mom. Adele fights against Developers who want to buy the town and redevelop it. She stands up to them and Grady is now seeing the strong independent woman she is. Adele and Grady start falling for each other and now Grady isn't sure he wants to leave town. Will there be a relationship between Grady and Adele? Does Adele prove herself worthy to Grady and the townspeople?

WOW, this book is a definite page-turner! Adele is a sweet, fun-loving independent woman. She only wants what is best for her and her girls and the townspeople keep making reports about her and getting her arrested. Grady seems annoyed by having to arrest her so often. I LOVE how their hearts are softened toward one another as they both reflect on their pasts and decide to let go and move forward. I truly enjoyed this book from beginning to end and finished it within 4hrs! I have only read 1 other book by Cari Lynn Webb, although I truly need to read all her books. GREAT Author and a GREAT BOOK!

Cari Lynn Webb’s Her Favorite Wyoming Sheriff is a charming small-town contemporary romance that is hard to resist.

Adele Blackwell Kane seems to have a knack for getting into trouble. Getting arrested has almost become part of her routine, but Adele cares deeply about the town and she will fight tooth and nail to rescue it from developers – even if it means falling foul of the law. Still with handsome Sheriff Grady McMillan doing the arresting, Adele cannot complain too much – not that the widowed single mom is looking for romance, of course.

Adele might just be Grady’s favorite not-quite-a-criminal! There is something about the plucky single mom that draws Grady to Adele like a moth to a flame. Grady doesn’t usually have much time for troublemakers, but Adele’s passion for the town and devotion to her community is one that cannot help but endear her to him – even if keeping her out of mischief is a full-time job in itself! With fate seeming to throw the two of them together at every turn, Grady soon finds himself falling for the single mom, however, with the sheriff keen to get as far away from Wyoming as possible and Adele having put down roots, will a future for the two of them be at all possible? Or is their relationship simply not meant to be?

It’s always a joy to read one of Cari Lynn Webb’s romances and Her Favorite Wyoming Sheriff is a heart-rending, uplifting and immensely enjoyable read that will make readers laugh out loud and shed a tear or two. Grady and Adele are two wonderful characters readers will root for and their love story is one that will keep them gripped throughout.

A top-notch contemporary romance that shouldn’t be missed, Her Favorite Wyoming Sheriff by Cari Lynn Webb is simply delightful.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was a fun book to read, but I also wanted to smack someone! Adele is a widow who is just trying to prove that she can hold her own. I loved her character's positive outlook on life and her positive attitude toward everyone. She was like a ray of sunshine. Then you have the Green siblings. They are the dark to Adele's light. They are just royal pains in the behind. They are those neighbors you wish would just move away. Their complaints lead to Adele getting arrested multiple times for "violation of city ordinances". These arrests bring in the handsome Sheriff Grady McMillan. He has one foot in the door fulfilling his duties as sheriff until the end of the term, and one foot out of the door as he plans on "blowing this joint" as soon as his duties are fulfilled. I also liked his character as he definitely had a soft spot and felt conflicted about doing his job and doing the right thing. Then I have my favorite characters in this book, Grandma Denny and Uncle Elias (also known as Big E). They provide comedic relief, but their hearts are in the right place as they try to protect the town and Adele. Adele's twins are completely adorable, and Grady's dog, Knox, steals the show in several scenes. While reading this book, I was trying to figure out why the Green siblings had a definite chip on their shoulder about Adele. I enjoyed this book, and found myself cheering for Adele as they tried to darken her sunshine personality. The book will leave you with a little cliffhanger! Now I can't wait for the final book in this series out next month! I definitely give this book five stars as it checked all of the boxes for me that made it an enjoyable book to read.

Thank you to the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I’d say “what fun!” but I’m not quite sure Adele, or Sheriff Grady, would agree. Adele Blackwell Kane and Sheriff Grady McMillan are doing a dance. Well, it seems that way but poor Adele keeps getting arrested – and she is the most low-key Blackwell there is! For me, there is more of the overall arc of these stories – the vendetta against the town (or really the Blackwells) – and it really plays havoc with the growing friendship and relationship between Adele and Grady. I mean, why does she always have to be arrested when she has her twin girls with her? Seems some of the folks in town make sure it is a spectacle, even when they are fabricating events.

I loved Adele. She is SO upbeat and sees the good in everyone, even the folks who want to beat her down. She has her own family “mission” but still finds time to single-parent her twins, get her business back up and running, help every single person she comes across in town and still keep a smile and good words for everyone. Love her spirit. And Grady. Tortured soul might be a good description! He’s just doin’ his job but he knows there is something afoot in his town. He is so very good to and for Adele. And the closeness he shares with the twins is so touching and warm. I love him!

Really enjoyed this story. The Blackwell family sticks together and support one another. The rest of the crew make appearances, teases the heck out of Adele (!), and it is heartwarming. Reading how both Adele and Grady (and a few other characters to boot) work thru their own personal traumas? The best!

Another great story in this series and another arrest or two for Adele Blackwell Kane. I’ve always liked Adele but, in this book, we get more time with her and get more about her past and what she’s been dealing with and get more in depth to why she does what she does. Of course, if she’s getting arrest you know that Sheriff Grady McMillan is right there as well. I really enjoyed this story but feel like we definitely need to clean out the town council from people like Edmond and Eleanor Green who have nothing better to do than have a personal vendetta against Adele and it was so funny when the Judge gave Adele community service and her ‘pot pie’ sentence. I also thoroughly enjoyed how Denny and Big E are now in cahoots and are investigating behind the scenes and uh-oh they have implicated the Sheriff’s father, in what is happening with the town and he’s making a deal with the devils (Howard and Bedford). So much happened in this story and it was definitely fun to watch Adele and Grady maybe become friends and something more and I loved the ending when Grady put together the surprise for Adele. I can’t believe we’re looking at the last story in the series coming out soon and yet so much is still going on with this business of taking over the town. We seriously need to head to Eagle Springs because when Denny and Big E had their visit with Frank that didn’t end well at all. I’m literally sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for this last story and crossing my fingers that everything ends up as it should, and Howard and his cronies get thrown out of town. Wonderful story!

Her Favorite Wyoming Sheriff, the fourth book in The Blackwells of Eagle Springs, Wyoming series, was very enjoyable, as were the previous three books in the series. Eagle Springs is a tight knit community, but there are those bent on changing that.
This story focuses on granddaughter Adele Blackwell Kane, who is a widow with two young children. She is witty, humorous, and extremely kind. She and her husband ran the Blackwell Auction House, until he died. Now it’s up to her to get it back up and running, so she can help pay off a loan that has been called in on the family ranch. She wants to prove her independence, but the Green siblings keep having her arrested for ridiculous reasons.
Sheriff Grady McMillan has been burned in the love department, and he’s hard and stubborn. He also lives to solve problems. He and Adele are continually thrown together because it’s his job to arrest her even if the charges are bogus. The more they’re thrown together, the more they begin to have feelings for each other. However, Eagle Springs is a temporary stop for Grady and it’s Adele’s home. He learns it takes a problem like Adele to be his favorite kind of problem.
One of my favorite characters in the series is Judge Verna Pickett. She is a very down to earth “character”and you can’t help but chuckle when she’s involved.
I was kindly provided with an e-copy of this book by the author Cari Lynn Webb, so I can give an honest review of this book. I want to thank Cari Lynn for providing this ebook; the book was released this past Tuesday October 25, 2022.

Her favorite, Wyoming Sheriff. I found this Thanksgiving romance story heartwarming especially if you’ve lost someone in your life
Adele Blackwell Kane is a widow with two-year old twin daughters. Although trying to make a living by keeping the Blackwell auction barn open she continually finds herself being arrested.
Sheriff Grady McMillan, divorced, persistently thinks of leaving Eagle Springs Wyoming, with the full intention of his sheriff position being temporary.
There is suspense when Grady‘s father becomes involved with Xavier, the developer who wants to make Eagle Springs a resort for the wealthy, and Brock the bank manager.
Humor pops up with Adele’s grandmother, Denny & Elias Blackwell (Big E) do a stakeout of the bank carefully watching Xavier; when Adele entices Grady to help her get pictures of her neighbor, Conrad Ford’s tractors in a locked barn; Judge Pickett’s Christmas village with dressed up trees and Santa’s workshop and of course, the antics of the twins.
I love the interaction with Adele and the Twins with Knox-Grady’s dog.
Cari-Lynn (author) brings out the true meaning of Thanksgiving-being grateful for close family and friends
This is a quick read book, minimal repetition. The author provided me with this book for my honest opinion.

I have read Cari Lynn Webb before and I am sure glad I picked up HER FAVORITE WYOMING SHERIFF. It is part of The Blackwells of Eagle Springs series and if you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you know how much I love this family! Big E is my favorite and the things he says and the schemes he comes up with, just crack me up!

Cari Lynn Webb hooked me and pulled me right in from the very first page and never let me go. Hang on tight dear readers! It is going to be a very emotional ride! After being arrested once again, Adele Blackwell Kane can’t seem to stay out of trouble! The hunky sheriff, Grady McMillan doesn’t want to keep taking Adele to jail, seeing as she is a single mother of twin girls, but knows he has a job to do and as soon as his term is up he is leaving Eagle Springs. They are very attracted to each other but are adamant that they are not looking into get involved with anyone. Now what could possibly go wrong with this arrangement?

HER FAVORITE WYOMING SHERIFF shows how when we let go of the past, anything is possible. I highly recommend this book for readers who enjoy clean reads with true to life characters. Cari Lynn Webb grabs her readers by the heart and never lets them go. I love how the Blackwell family always has each other’s backs, no matter what! Harelquin Heartwarming books are so perfect when you want to escape the real world.

All the characters in HER FAVORITE WYOMING SHERIFF are very relatable and not perfect at all. You can’t help but feel each emotion that they are dealing with. When one of them was happy, I was happy. Adele is really trying to prove that she doesn’t need any help or a man to take care of her. That isn’t going so well for her with each arrest! I love when an author makes me feel all of the character’s emotions. I truly was an emotional mess after reading this heart tugging story. Now that I have read HER FAVORITE WYOMING SHERIFF and discovered how much I enjoy Ms. Webb’s stories, I’m excited to read more of this auto buy from now on author.

If you are looking for a heart tugging read that is filled with troubling times, but still fills you with hope, please take a chance and read HER FAVORITE WYOMING SHERIFF. It is so real that you need to keep the tissues close by because your emotions are going to be on one crazy roller coaster ride. Once you finish devouring this beautiful story you are going to be wanting more of this crazy and devoted family!

I keep saying this with every new book in the series, but these characters are my favorite so far! Both have pasts that haunt them and have hurt them. Adele and Grady handle it in opposite ways! Adele is Susie Sunshine, looking for the good in everyone and spreading happiness along the way. The townspeople love her (except for a couple that have it out for her, hence she gets arrested constantly!). Grady is serious, solemn and just does his job with little interaction with the community, or with his father who he blames for the breakup of his family. On paper their relationship should work but it most certainly does! Adele is a widow with two darling girls. How I fell in love with those little imps! Grady did too, over time! They melted his serious heart! Grady didn't like arresting Adele all the time but two people in two had it out for her! I love the Blackwells and how they "gather the wagons" when one of their own is in trouble is heartwarming! They did this with Adele, even when it was to point out a fault she had! A truly fabulous story! Can't wait for the next one!

I thoroughly enjoy Cari Lynn Webb's books and this one is no exception. One of my favorite things about her writing is the way the characters seem so real. They are relatable and she does an amazing job of expressing what the characters are feeling and thinking.

In this book, Adele is doing her best to raise her twins alone and raise her share of the money that the family needs to save the family farm. Her family thinks she is too nice and needs their help with everything. She is trying to prove to them that she is capable of doing things on her own. A couple of people in town are out to get her and keep turning her in to the sheriff. Grady, the sheriff, doesn't like arresting Adele, but he has a job to do. He wants to finish out the term in office and then leave town. His problem is that he finds Adele and her twin girls very appealing. They are beginning to capture his heart. A developer is trying to take over the town and Adele decides to try to stop them. Will Grady be able to keep her out of jail? Will Adele be able to stay out of jail long enough to accomplish her goals? Will they be able to fight their attraction to each other?

Adele Blackwell Kane is a widow with twin girls. She’s trying to help save the Blackwell ranch for her grandmother and family. Sheriff Grady McMillan is having trouble with the pretty mother. He finds her attractive. She’s nice, sweet, pretty, loving and kind. He keeps having to arrest her because of complaints. He believes in following the law. It’s hard work to keep her out of jail. She tries to avoid him as much as possible but she keeps thinking about him and finds him attractive. All she wants to do is prove to everyone that she’s independent and can take care of her girls and herself. The sheriff can’t help but be drawn to Adele and her girls. He try’s to help her anyway he can, especially with the girls. The more he tries the stronger the feelings get.
Someone is trying to stop her from having her auctions. She’s doing it to raise her share of the money since the bank called in their loan for Blackwell Ranch. Will she succeed? Will the sheriff do his job and then move on? Will he walk away? Will the Blackwell Ranch be ok? Sheriff Grady and Adele is a wonderful couple who deserves a second chance. This is one of my favorite couples. Worth the read

What a great book! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Full disclosure, I did receive a free copy of this book for my unbiased review. I was looking for a good, lighthearted read and this book fit the bill. I absolutely loved the main and supporting characters. The Blackwell family is a big boisterous group. I am looking forward to seeing more of them. My only critique is that I was a little lost on the whole Brent thing. I did not put the pieces together that Brent was her deceased husband until close to the end of the book when Adele goes into details about him. For some reason I had it in my head that Brent was an older brother or another family member, not her spouse. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the book. I didn't think the issue between Frank and Delaney had much time spent on it so hopefully that will come up again in subsequent books. That needs to be resolved. I loved the town and all the quirky people in it, but I never figured out why those 2 councilmembers had it out for Adele either. So, some loose ends for me, but a thoroughly enjoyable read.

Her Favorite Wyoming Sheriff is part of The Blackwells of Eagle Springs series that is written by Cari Lynn Webb. I have not read the other books in the series, and I did not have any issues following along. I love the way this author writes. Her words flow off the pages.
Adele Blackwell Kane is a widowed mom of twin girls. She is strong and caring. I loved her character. Sheriff Grady McMillan is the one who keeps arresting Adele. It always seems she gets arrested when she has her girls with her. I loved the interactions between these too. Both have had hurt in their past and Grady is afraid to move forward. He does want to leave Wyoming permanently. Their romance built at a comfortable pace.
The book is well written, the characters well developed. The Blackwell family is an interesting one, and while this can be read as a stand alone, I may go back and read the first one so that I can get the full story.
Thank you to the author, publisher and JustRead Publicity Tours, all thoughts are my own.

Her Favorite Wyoming Sheriff by Cari Lynn Webb is the fourth book in the Blackwells of Eagle Springs. In this novel, we are introduced to Adele Blackwell Kane. She is widowed with twin baby girls. She is caring and sweet and a hard worker. Unfortunately, she seems to be one of the most often arrested people in her small town. Two members of the town council seem to have it out for her. Sheriff Grady McMillan is tired of putting her in handcuffs.

Sheriff Grady McMillan is the sheriff of Eagle Springs. He is recovering from a bullet wound from his prior job. He has been thinking that Eagle Springs is a short term gig for him and then to move on to another place and not the sad town with his father.

I love how Adele just couldn’t catch a break and how Grady helped her figure out her path to true love - HIM. This story was good and I really enjoyed it. I like how Adele was able to get people together and helped Grady and his Dad to connect with each other again.  Her Favorite Wyoming Sheriff by Cari Lynn Webb is a good read.

Another in the Blackwells of Eagle Springs, in which Adele Blackwell Kane, a widow, is determined to pay her way and to help her family pay off the loan that if, not paid, will end up in foreclosing the ranch that has been in the family for generations. Trouble for Adele is she keeps being arrested by the local sheriff, who claims to have taken the position only temporarily.

Sheriff Grady McMillan really needs to get clear with his father, the former sheriff, if only he can set aside past hurts. But what really bothers him is his suspicion that his father may be in league with some other men determined to kill off the little town of Eagle Springs and why. What keeps getting in the way of him trying to get to the bottom of that question is his continuing attraction to Adele, his favorite arrestee, and her twin toddler daughters.

The mystery about the town, however, remains. For how many more books? We don't yet know...
