It's been six months since Anutéa unexpectedly released Loren back to the Cavaran Alliance and pledged to end her family's thousand-year-dynasty. Peace is in the air, but not everyone is ready—or willing—to let go of the war they've been fighting for five years.
Separated from the others, Casilim-la spends exhausting days and nights trying to forget about the woman he loves... until a surprising invitation from an unexpected source forces him to face a past he'd rather bury.
It's a universal truth that if you want peace, you must prepare for war. In a galaxy that's been fighting for five years, can peace be made?
The perfect end to a wonderful trilogy. I'm normally not one to read Sci Fi, but Jade Cahoon can sweep you into her world in such a way that you often forget that it's not the real world. What I loved most about this novel has to be the way everything blends together, how while there are some mysteries left to be solved, they are left to your interpretation. The major plot is neatly tied up, but it's bound by a mesh material, where some areas are clear and the fabric covers others.
I 100% plan on writing some fanfics for this series, to explore some aspects more, to dive into this world again and again. I sincerely hope that this isn't the last of this universe, that we will see these worlds and species again.
