Not the same as my other books. (Note the green cover)

Liam Abbott has just turned eighteen and alone for the first time in his life. Since he was a child, he had lived in the system, moving from foster home to foster home. He's struggling to live with his demons when agents from the Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women knock on his door with news that he's been identified as the father of a newborn whose mother died of an overdose. This is the fourth chapter in his story and the story of his daughter, Liberty Joy Williams.

There are discussions of drugs, verbal, physical and sexual abuse, and suicide in the story but the reality is that this is what many who go through the 'system' have to deal with.

This is only 24,000 words. That's about 100 kindle pages.

To ooo short

I'm addicted to this story. I manually check by author on kindle every other day to see if there are more books. Last night, I checked and yeah the next book was out. The bummer is I read it all in one sitting. I can't wait for the next one!

There is quite a lot happening in this instalment, some of it quite dramatic, pushing Liam close to the edge.
