Kambridge Lewis is the definition of a smart girl; valedictorian of the best private school in the state, graduated Magna Cum Laude from college, and owns her own store at the age of twenty-two. Even after all of that, it seems like it’s not enough for Judge Kason Lewis, her father. The relationship between Kam and her father is the reason why she is confused on what love really is, since he beats her down mentally and physically…that is, until she meets the foul mouthed Malice Bailey.
Phoenix ‘Malice’ Bailey is the youngest of the two Bailey brothers who wants to make his own living, his own way, instead of the way his dad wants him to…the drug game. Malice had to put himself through school using money that he gets from his special service and his good friend, Catherine Jenson.
To them, Malice and Kam met by chance, but their fathers saw an opportunity to ignite an old beef between the two. Using both of their kids in a dangerous feud can only lead to one thing for these love or death.
Kam and Malice being friends comes with a lot of secrets, including two big Kam’s boyfriend, Connor Wiles, and Malice’s good friend, who wants to be more than a good friend.
In A Malice Love, you find out the lengths to which people go for love, respect, and money.
This books plot for me is just dumb!!! I racked my brain to come up with another word, but dumb kept resinating with me. I could have used I intelligent, but with the context of the book that didn’t work either.
Let me explain: I say dumb not because of how it’s written, but what is written. You have a 22 year old woman is getting man handled and beat down by her father almost daily. He is a judge and no one in the house does anything to stop it! She stays and deals with even after being hospitalized. She has a mom that is present, a big brother that lives there as well, and a younger sister that witness it. None of them gets beat on. The mother stood up for her one time and the father still never stopped. Now I’ve read books about abuse before, but the victim is usually isolated from those that love them. All these people say they love her and do nothing to protect her. The brother punched a guy pursuing her, but doesn’t defend her or build her up against the dad. He marks her skin intentionally.
Make it, make sense!!! It’s not about the abuse for me, it’s about the weak plot in which the author tried to base this story around.
Ain’t no way this should have gotten anything more than one star two would be a push. This book is about Kam who is constantly physically abused by her “father” to the point of having to wear makeup to cover her scars. Now her father just doesn’t abuse her he has cameras in her room and watches everything she does. Now to Connor her racist bf I didn’t understand why she was with him and what purposes did he serve in this book. I didn’t even get why Malice was a prostitute. Also Kams mother was the worst mother ever. She just sat back and watched her husband beat this shxt out of her daughter.

This book is insane!!! It started of normal than the plot twist had my head spinning like the exorcist!!! WTF 😳!!! Imagine both your parents sending you to get info on each other but then y’all start catch real feeling but remain in the crossfire of your families. This is like Romeo and Juliet but on crack. 🫠 I loved it and will be reading the second book!
The Judge is a Demon that needs his Karma served hot and fast. That Tracy is a weak woman that don't need kids. I wish a ninja would try me or my kids. Let see what 2 has in store for my nerves
Malice definitely gave B.P.C throughout the whole book. I think Judge Lewis idea is not going to end how he think it is. But let me gone head and start book 2 I need to see how Tracey is gonna react to Malice being Kam’s guest to dinner.
This is bad, it's giving tubi or really bad wattpad. I keep going to see how much worse it would get. Wasn't disappointed, let's see what Book 2 does 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bianca is the best author I've read. Not only is the story line great, which is hard on itself, but the story just flows, barely any Grammer issues, and you don't mind coming back to read again. The Bailey family is my favorite Fanta family will be rereading the rest of the series again for the 4th time. 5 stars
This book should definitely start with a trigger warning, I’m not sure how I feel about it. Although I couldn’t put it down I definitely wanted to stop reading it. Because how do a whole household blinding standby and watch one child be abused? I really don’t want to because the abuse is too much, but the books is interesting so I’m gonna keep read the series
Oooouuuu!!! This book was on fire!🔥 I couldn’t put this one down! Kam is just a sweetheart just graduated from college and open up her own t-shirt business to prove to her “father” that she’s independent and can do things on her own. She meet Malice and things took an interesting turn. Malice was a grind hard, say whatever he want, and do what he gotta do to get to the money type of man! Know don’t get me wrong he has a filthy mouth when it comes to speaking his mind but he’s also smart and striving to make all his legit dreams come true. When Malice met Kam they were total opposites and just annoyed one another but things got different real quick if ya know what I mean😝🥵🌶️❤️ but really both Kam and Malice developed feelings for one another. I loved how Malice help Kam throughout this book with her self confidence and just truly caring for her in ways that Kam never thought she would get or needed.😍❤️❤️ one thing that threw me all the way off with this book to the point where I wanted to stop reading it was Malice & Tracy! Like Why have him sleep with her?!! And more than once!😩😤That part pissed me off! Like damn! I almost put this book to the side cuz I didn’t like that at all! But of course I continued because I wanted to see how things unfold.. of course I read on because the book was just that good.. of course I was nosy and willing to read more cuz I couldn’t get enough of Kam & Malice relationship!!!😩😂🫶🏽❤️❤️🔥❤️🔥🔥 y’all go read this book!!
This book actually surprised me. I have to be honest I thought it wasn’t going to be as interesting as it was.
Malice is an educated Black man fighting the drug dealer stereotype and finding his own way to make that $$$ although its not any more legal.
Kambridge is a boss as well but her daddy is the judge, juy and sometimes the executioner in his house. At least she has her brother as her best friend but even he won’t get between the father and daughter. Which honestly this pissed me off more then anything. Don’t be a punk and try to protect me in the same breath bro.
This is a story felt “Romeo & Juliet”-esque to me mixed with some thug passion lol but I enjoyed it. The twist at the end was great and the reason I will read the next one. I didn’t see it coming but not sure if it was because I wasn’t paying attention while reading or the author was paying great attention while writing and never gave it away lol but it was good.
Will Kambridge and Malice go against their fathers or go against themselves???? What will Kambridge do when she founds out his “side hustle”? What will either do when they find out who each other really is?
Time for the next one!

I couldn’t go far with this book. I’m so disappointed because I just read a book by this author that was AMAZING!!!! So I decided to give her other books a try and this is a no for me. I read about 3 chapters and it’s horrible. From the way they speak to all the weird $h!T they do. Dude basically a male prostitute for rich old women AND HE DONT HAVE TO BE. Kam and this white boy she dating is cringy asf. Then I hate stories that adults allow their parents to control their lives. You a whole grown woman and making your own money and you telling me that your daddy gone tell u u can’t move out the house? THAT MAKES NO SENSE… and from other reviews and from a hint in what I’ve read so far the father beats her.
Im gonna try another story by this author because I have to believe her other work is just as amazing as what I previously read by her. I really thought I found a new fav author, so I won’t give up. But if that was an exception, and this is what I have to look forward to I’m gonna be soooooo disappointed.
Ps.. is Amazon not allowing ppl to write negative reviews anymore? Why are they all blank now?
While there are some areas for improvement, Ms. Bianca wrote the hell out of this book!!!
The story line keeps you on the edge biting your nails. Malice and Kam are from two different worlds and baby when those worlds collide it is a major wildfire. Kam’s dad is a dirty scoundrel of a judge. Kam’s mom is horrible. She does nothing to protect her children from their monster of a dad. And she’s a nasty cheating HO HO HO! Malice is from the wrong side of the tracks but wants no parts of his dad’s dirty business. However, he makes money in an under the table kind of way too. At first him and Kam bumped heads until they were bumping uglies. Neither of them know that the other’s dad is using them against each other. I can’t wait to read the next book!!!!
I’ve heard so much about this series so I finally decide to read. I’m not disappointed but I don’t get they hype. The dialogue between characters was just weird to me, like I get it’s fiction but seriously who speaks like that.
The judge is insane. How are you holding grown adults hostage in your home, they both work and make their own money no way he’d make me stay there.
Kam’s relationship with Connor was so cringe 😬
Malice’s dad is equally insane. Cat is on a whole nother level of insane. I like Kam and Malice but I don’t know how I feel about them being together knowing he’s been sexing her mom 🤮
I’m gonna read part two because I’m invested I just hope it gets better.
Okay so I was right… she done fell in love with him. He done fell in love with her. And now they’ve both just found out he’s been fucking her mama. Welp! On to the next installment.
Overall i enjoyed this book. It had a whole lot of drama that kept my mouth hanging open. Some of it was uncomfortable to read but also made me look forward to the protagonists getting whatever they have coming. My one gripe is there are some things that arent true and could have benefited from an editor. For example, you dont take the bar exam to get into law school..you take the LSAT. Also you dont have to have your passport for 6 months before you can travel internationally, you can literally get it the day before and be fine. So some of these errors were distracting at times. But i do plan to continue with the series.
Very weird dialogue going on here. Is this a YA book?
What brother would describe his sister as “…beautiful, chocolate…” to their dad?
Also how can a brother say he’s willing to die behind his sister, but living fine with his dad beating her.
“My mom is Vice President of Human Resources..” ummm where? The proper way to format that sentence, would be “my mom is a HR Vice President”. Also can we talk about this poor excuse for a mom? I hope the next installment is better.
Malice aka Phoenix was a born hustler except he was hustling to live a wealthy life minus the drug game his family was into! Kambridge aka Kam was a business owner trying to be out on her own but her abusive father refused to let her live her life from under his thumb! They meet by him requesting services from her business, not knowing their father’s are mortal enemies! When the father’s employee the kids to get info from each other what happens when love develops? A great read!
Initially this was a slow start and I thought I was not going to finish it. I love Malice’s character and the genuine way he cares about Kambridge despite both their fathers wanting them to play each other. Although hers being the worst of the two. Her whole family failed her and her self love has suffered. So I hope that the love they are building can last despite ALL of the skeletons in Malice’s closet cuz this boy has a lot! Lol plus I need him to put her daddy 6ft deep! And the cliff hanger at the end!!! OMG!!!!
Just poorly written, poor plot, weird and immature inner monologue and dialogue, inconsistent or untrue details (like a character allegedly studying for a bar exam before even getting into law school)…it was just a lot of things being said and things happening just for the sake content with no flow, reason, explanation or logical justification. Read like a wattpad story written by a teenager. Will not be reading the second one and I’ve seen other reviews say this authors other books are way better than this one but I don’t think I have it in me to trust that and give them a shot.
I began reading this craziness Kam is such a sweet young girl motivated and busting through goals, dating a preppy white dude but by chance keeps having fun-ins with sexy Malice. She has no idea of what in’s store for her getting to know Malice but I wish them the best… this is my second time reading and Al thought I’ve read it I will continue it’s not one you can walk away from. Happy reading
Malice Bailey is a paid escort. He’s been in the business for twelve years. His father, Korrupt Bailey, is the local kingpin, but because Malice is not about that life, his father refuses to support him. Hence the escort business since he was sixteen years old. Korrupt promises to leave Malice alone about joining the family business if he would do just one little thing for him…
Something about the flow was off for me. Not sure I will complete the series, but I will at least read the second book.
Nothing so far was surprising, all the breadcrumbs on where this is going is pretty obvious.
It will be interesting to see how the author takes such a taboo storyline Tracey/ Kam/ Malice and turn it around. Because YUCK! In my head ain’t no coming back from that. But we shall see how it’s worked out.
Such a great read. This is my first read by Bianca and I’m hooked. I really feel bad for Kam dealing with such a terrible and disgusting treatment her whole life. Tracey is the worse excuse. Malice is something else lol, I respect that he is trying to make his way and not letting his father bully him. But chile Cat was a predator and got him into this ordeal but not things have just got real
Idk how to feel about this book. Kam is being abused, but instead of prioritizing getting her own place, she keeps talking about getting a new car 😒 She hates her body because of the bruises, yet she isn’t taking any action to change her situation. Also, I can’t get over the fact that Malace is a gigolo! 😂 The cliffhanger had me weakkk.
I like the idea of the book, but I feel like the foundation of the plot isn’t that strong. Still, I’m trusting the process and hoping book two is better.
Kam and Malice are beautiful together but their families are putting them in a no win situation. And her dad, I seriously hate him and he deserves everything coming to him. Her mom is just as worse because she let him treat her like that. Looking forward to book two.
This book had so much potential but it’s just all wrong. Starting off with Malice’s chosen side hustle. Very disappointing. Then Kam and her proclivities with Conner. I was not ready for all of that. Then lastly, the cliffhanger is messy. There’s no way to make that right. Smh.
When I started reading I didn’t think Phoenix would be slangin’ his thanngg🤣…..The mom and her crazy a$$ husband both need to be cut from limb to limb…. She’s a B.I.T.C.H for not protecting her child idc if she was made from an affair … that ain’t right … Kam and Phoenix gon have to come clean to each other before it blows up on both of there faces
What can I say? I am loving these series. I am on my way to book 2 because Malice and his penis is too much! I am hoping that malice and Kam can come together but I feel baby is coming, I can br wrong but I would not be disappointed. The pen game is awesome, the storyline 👏🏿 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿. GO READ IT!
This about to be a whole mess. Now that Malice is in love with Kam it's all about to get blown up because he was smashing her mama. Ion know if that's forgivable. Maybe because he didn't know but still. I'm sick of Judge Kason. I can't wait till Karma backhands his azz. Malice better get a handle on Cat's crazy self to before it's to late.💛💛
