When social media queen, Tiffany Rose is shot and kidnapped live on air, the crime grips the nation. Private Investigator Lexi Graves races to her aid but she's too late. The kidnappers are long gone and the only witness is a tiny, frightened dog named Elf. Even worse, Lexi and her best friend, Lily are arrested at the crime scene as prime suspects. Upon being hired to find Tiffany, Lexi knows it's only a matter of time before the kidnappers make their demands and if their demands are not met, the nation's new sweetheart will pay with her life. When she starts to look for clues about the perps who arranged for Tiffany's ordeal, Lexi's suspicions spike. Instead of enjoying the high life, Tiffany is saddled with mounting debt and seriously considering elaborate schemes to make money fast while the wolves circle her. Did she go so far as to borrow from the wrong people? Or were her extreme lengths designed to solve all her problems? All Lexi knows for certain is that she will stop at nothing to uncover the truth.

I love everything about the Lexi Graves Mystery series and Pied Sniper, the 15th and newest book. Among the many things that make me anxiously await a new volume in the fun and exciting series are the wonderful characters and the fact that life in the series is ever changing. Lexi and even Lily, her slightly crazy bestie and sister-in-law, have matured and developed in skills from the hilarious, sometimes slapstick antics of the first book to the married women who still get crazy but understand responsibility too. Who wouldn't adore Lexi's open-armed family; how I would love to sit through just one family meal? Of course, the number of hot guys doesn't detract at all! My thanks to author Camilla Chafer who answered my request for an ARC because who wants to wait to get dive into Lexi's newest adventure and check into her still new marriage to the awesome John Solomon. The rhythm isn't as smooth as usual at the very beginning but that soon flows into a great give and take that ends up with Lexi and Lily staring into the barrow of police revolvers, policemen who have no idea who they are.
Of all of the Lexi Graves installments, “Pied Sniper” is my least favorite. It had plenty of potential, a story with a reality blogger who goes missing and Lexi is hired to find her; but, in truth the plot read flat.
There was a moment or two of fun and giggles but not as good as previous installments. Even the chemistry between Solomon and Lexi was less than sizzling despite the fact they are trying to get pregnant. I really wanted to like this read but it took me longer to read because I wasn’t as invested in the plot the way I normally would be.
Every series has an installment or two that is not its finest; so, I guess “Pied Sniper” is that one for me. I hope the next book will put this series back on track.
Continuing to love the Lexi Graves series! I love to look back and see how far Lexi has come both professionally in her career as well as personally from the first book, and this book is a great update in her life. Now that her and Solomon are settled into married life, they are starting to look at their life together beyond the wedding, which means children. Lexi and Lily are obsessed with a vlogger and decide to have a night together to watch her live video and are shocked when they watch her get shot at and kidnapped live! Together, they determine where her apartment is and get there just in time to get arrested because people think they are behind it, which fuels them even more to find the real kidnappers. As Lexi starts to dig into the vlogger’s life, it’s becoming more apparent that she isn’t who she says she is and that she isn’t like the persona she puts out online, and the story of what happened is becoming much clearer. I can’t say enough great things about these characters and the storylines, I love that Camilla continues to write this series and give us character progression for not only the main characters but the others as well. I can’t wait to see what happens next to Lexi! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I love the Lexi Graves series and have read all of them. I thought this one was a little different in that the mystery was easier to solve. The timeline became all important. Sleazy, money hungry characters were coming out of the woodwork. One more despicable than the last. I wanted more of the Lexi and Solomon sexual tension and witty repartee that usually exists between the two. I found that lacking. I would recommend this book in spite of that. The story was good in the sense it showcased loyalty and genuine caring for friends.
Lexi Graves Solomon is once again on a case that she and her best friend/sister-in-law saw on a video blog. Since the kidnapping took place in Lexi's hometown, she quickly figures out where the famous blogger (video blogger) is living in the city. When they arrive at the apartment, they find a whole lot of blood. As Lexi and her husband, John Solomon, as well as her brother, Garrett, a police detective, and Agents Maddox and Farid of the FBI, work on the case, they find out that Miss Tiffany Rose has more enemies than fans, and the investigation turns up more lies than truths. I gave this book 5 stars, just like I have given every book in this particular series. Hey, Ms. Chafer, when are we going to see a Baby Solomon? My favorite part of this book is at the Graves's family dinner when Lexi's sister's little girl, about 3 years old, starts calling everybody bad words. Adults REALLY have to be more careful about the language they up use around little kids. It was funny because of the shock on the adults' faces, as well as the fact that after little Victoria said the words, she started giggling like the words were funny. Anyway, I thought it was funny, too! I look forward to reading Book 16 when it is available.
The Lexi Graves Mysteries series is the best. I have followed Lexi since reading Armed and Fabulous. Lexi herself is a force to reckon with, add her family to the mix and the reader is guaranteed a great time. The storyline is original and involves Lexi and her husband, Solomon, both who are Private Investigators. The agency is hired to find an abducted vlogger. Joining with her brother Garrett a Police Detective and ex boyfriend FBI agent Maddox they search to find a kidnapped woman whose life is in danger. But nothing seems to add up. Camilla Chafer uses humor as well as suspense to move the story along. The characters are well developed. Her sister Serena is unfortunately a snobbish competitive thorn. The family gatherings are alway entertaining. Pied Sniper (Lexi Graves Mysteries Book 15) will not disappoint the reader. It is as refreshing as Book 1.
LOVE this book! Actually, I love the whole series, but this might be my favorite book so far. Lexi sees a crime occurring live on the internet and rushes to intervene. What she finds quickly puts her in a compromising position. Once she resolves that, she, and her husband's PI firm, quickly jump in to solve the crime. Lexi is surrounded by a crazy cast of characters that make this a fun and engaging story. The author made me feel invested in their story and want them to get a HEA ending.
If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. While it is part of a series, this is a stand alone novel, however, its so good that you really owe it to yourself to read them all. The author is on my must read authors' list.
Lexi Graves mysteries is one of my top long time favourite series, I’ve been with her from the beginning and I always look forward to another engaging, entertaining and laugh out loud mystery. Pied Sniper hit all the right buttons some loving, sweet and feel good, Lexie and Solomon moments, hilarity with Lexi and Lily as always, their HiJinks are so funny and then there is Lexi’s family who are always solid, grounding, and crazy as ever. The mystery was a fun one it the crazy social media world we live in today influencers really will do anything to up their views, gather more followers and rake in more money proving our world is just getting crazier each and every day.
I started reading Pied Sniper and could barely put it down. It is beautiful spring break weather and I wanted to stay in and read.
The FBI and Montgomery Police set off to find a missing vlogger with the help of the Solomon Detective Agency. Lexi Graves Solomon is hot on the trail, with the help of her hunky husband, Solomon and funny friend, Lilly. And did I mention there is an escape tiger on the loose too? Too much fun to read to put it down.
This book is full of funny situations that seem to only happen to Lexi. I would love to be her friend and help her solve these mysteries. She would be such fun!

I love Camilla's series featuring Lexi Graves, so I was over the moon to see the newest addition.
This book features an overactive social influencer, and vlogger (a blogger using the video medium). All women who follow her buy the products she features/sponsors. She provides vlogs where she shows viewers her new apartment. But what happens when, during a love vlog (video blog), she is attacked with her followers watching.
The twists and turns as Lexi and her husband, John Solomon, attempt to solve the mystery of her alleged abduction are similar to a fantastic carnival ride.
I highly recommend the book. It is easy to follow as a standalone or within the series.
Lexi Graves-Solomon is once again on the case. This time an internet influencer is kidnapped while streaming Live to thousands to see. Lexi is the first one to the crime scene. What she finds during her investigation is a lot more than anyone ever expected or bargained for. What kind of life is Tiffany Rose really leading and what was she hiding? I couldn’t put the book down until I finished. Camilla Chafer does an excellent job including details and scenes full of both drama and humor. I definitely recommend.
The latest mystery for Lexi Graves-Solomon to solve involves a social media influencer Tiffany Rose. Lexi and her BFF Lily are watching a live stream of Tiffany Rose when there appears to be a kidnapping. Lexi and Lily arrive at the scene, and are promptly arrested by the only non family members of the Montgomery PD. Of course, Tiffany’s manager hires Lexi and her PI husband Solomon to find the kidnapped social media star. Great addition to the series. Lots of laughs, and great catching up with all of the Graves family and the co-workers at the Solomon Detective agency.
I really enjoy this whole series. Lexi always ends up in situations that are often serious but more often bring humor and lighthearted fun. I enjoy the mystery, the twists and turns, the family and friends dynamic. In this installment Lexi is looking into the live kidnapping of a social media influencer. Things are not always what they appear and Lexi has her work cut out for her. I will never look at the woods at night the same way. *arc received for honest review
Lexi and Lilly witness a kidnapping of their favorite vlogger, Tiffany Rose during her live stream. When of course, they get mixed up in it trying to rescue her and hilarity follows! They learn quickly that sometimes people are not who they seem to be.
Camilla never disappoints! Definitely recommend this book! You won’t be sorry.
Another great installment! Ms Chafer's writing gets better with every book. This story felt fresh. It was fun to read and even though I knew who the culprit was there were times where the writer had me second guessing myself. I love that. I love how the characters have continued to grow and evolve. I cannot wait for the next book!
I always look forward to a Lexi Graves mystery! This installment delves into the life of a social media influencer, and as someone who consumes far too many YouTube videos, I found it delightful. There were several laugh-out-loud funny scenes and enough action to keep me turning the pages well past my bedtime.
This is another very enjoyable book in this series. The characters are always warm, smart, loyal, and fun. The mystery is entertaining. This one has lots of twists. I loved it! (I do wish Serena had not turned back into a meanie though. I liked it when she was nice.)
Love this series so much, such great storylines, characters, and humor. This story is about a very popular woman who gets kidnapped and Lexi is hired to find her before they kill her. This book had some awesome funny lines, great reading.
Loved this book!! Lexi and Solomon are my favorite and I can’t wait to continue their story. I am ready to see if they get to have a baby or not. I enjoy reading what all trouble Lexi gets herself into and how Solomon helps get her out as well as the rest of them.
I love the Lexi Graves series, and this was another great book in the series. I love the antics that Lily and Lexi get themselves into, and the scene at the family dinner had me laughing out loud. Highly recommend for a light-hearted, fun read.
I love the Lexi Graves series. She is a tough, well dressed PI with a sexy husband/co-worker. She has a big extended nosey, funny, family. She tends to "fall" into cases and solves them the same way.
I love the characters in the Lease Graves mysteries. I missed that her mom and nephew did have a larger part because they are so funny. I am already waiting for the next nook. Thanks for a great series.
I love every character in this series, except maybe Serena sometimes lol. Lexi is really coming into her own as a private investigator. I love that she's actually a tough take no bull female lead.
As only Lexi can stumbling and tripping over clues and solving everyone else’s cases. Pure genius love my Lexi & co. Such a fun read off to read next book woo hoo
This series is so good! Camilla Chafer does a great job. The characters are fun and relatable and the story has enough intrigue to keep the reader hooked from beginning to end.
Wow, right from the start, Camilla catches your interest with this book and keeps you reading right until the very end. It's hard to put down. I'm looking forward to Book 16!
