Rate this book
The Venom Spear operations are in full force in America’s western cities.

The people aren’t happy… the cartels aren’t giving up… and the world is headed toward an unprecedented war…

The skirmish between Russia and China becomes lopsided, as China uses high-tech tactics in an advanced age of warfare. Mexico gathers allies in their claim that the United States attacked them. America finds herself under constant cyber-attack.

Recovering from his injuries, Colonel Lou Caldwell hits the road with his niece, set on finding his distraught and angry wife. Fuel becomes harder to get, while the rage of the people seems to surface around every corner…

Cascadia disaster survivor Carmen Martinez continues to push through the horrors of her treacherous journey. As she adapts to her new job as a Navy firefighter, she faces a tough choice—flee for home as the world starts to burn? Or stay and fight with her crew as they deploy to the volatile Western Pacific?

Hungarian henchman Dacso Sarkany heads to Los Angeles, on a mission to escort an older family member east in the dangerous new world. He must learn where his personal ethics truly lie, as he finds himself in the position to be both defender and punisher…

Recoiling from the tragic loss of his comrades, former marine Granger Madison gets an unlikely benefactor. Will they be able to rebuild in time to help defend the Arizona border?

Will they find their answers? Will good people be fighting from being every blade of grass?

Dark days ahead for America

So many threads weaving this powerful tale together. America reeling from natural disaster, Mexican drug cartels taking over cities, Russia and China at war to see who gets to invade the US, cyber attacks affecting the internet, the power grid, utilities, winter coming and Mexico, aided by China and some of Central and South American countries, crooked politicians and cops. Whew! All skillfully divulged in this series. Set aside a few days and binge read these books!

Still too real!!

Overall, this book is just too real. The science and technology used in this story are just flat out freaky scary. The mere those of even one of these things happening is beyond imagination... with all of it happening? Unfathomable!

I am incredibly enthralled with this series. I love America and it's people!!

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is an adult. There is no intimacy or language but it's war and it's violent.

Another Winner

This one wasn’t as good as the first, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t good. The story is still compelling and draws you in to find out what happens next. The pacing is good, I enjoyed Carmen much more in Cascadia Fallen than I did in this story. Lou is still, for sure, my favorite character in this universe. Another great read, the story and characters are enough to pull you in and immerse you into this world.

His best book yet and a very good read! I love the way the author weaves the environmental details into the scenes just enough to take you there but not to the point of feeling dragged down with it. If you like fast-paced action and well-developed characters then you'll love this book.

Another excellent book in the “Blades of Grass” series. Good vs evil in a global free for all. Keeping track of all the different characters is a challenge, but well worth the effort.
