Pirate's Bounty. A Time Travel Adventure: Si-Fi Erotica (Riley's Time Travel Adventures

Rate this book
Some pirates are good for more than just pillaging and plundering…

When curious college student Riley stumbles upon a lost smartphone, she attempts to unlock it to return it to its owner. But after decrypting the passcode, the screen suddenly emits a swirling three-dimensional funnel hologram.

Holding her hand above the strange apparition, she feels a powerful force pulling her body inside. Moments later, she finds herself transplanted to the crew quarters of an old wooden ship.

When the all-women sailors discover the stowaway, they take her to the captain who reveals that she’s captive aboard the Joan of Arc, a seventeen-century pirate ship. After the captain informs Riley that she’ll have to work to earn her keep, the vessel is soon besieged by a much larger pirate ship.

While receiving an impromptu lesson in swordsmanship, she and the other crew members manage to fend off the invading ruffians, whereupon they find a treasure map aboard the opposing vessel. As the crew sets out to find the location of the mysterious treasure, Riley proves her value using her knowledge of modern weaponry and warfare to help her sexy new crewmates survive one harrowing adventure after another…

Riley's Time Travel Adventures is a continuing series of erotic short stories where young college student Riley uses her newfound time machine to transport from one historical time and place to another.

This was marketed to me as lesbian erotica, which is correct, I should be marketed lesbian erotica. I'm a lesbian.

This is not lesbian erotica, this is lesbian fetishism. This is a book for suburban mid-west house wives who need an excuse to have sex with women because they just want to be able to orgasam once during sex so, so badly.

Everything is an excuse, a reason for why the lesbian sex right now is okay, as opposed to it just being a thing you wanted to do.

A lesbian Pirate Captain who specifically has an entire crew of all women, has a line about why shaved p*ssy is better... this takes place in a historical setting! On a boat! In the ocean!

I only want to read the rest of this series because it takes zero time, just to continue to see the absolute Rube Goldberg level of twists, turns and hoops required to have anything make any sense, and why in this situation it's totally fine to do lesbian sex. The completely sane reason of, because we are lesbians and we want to have lesbian sex, does not exist in this universe. We have removed ourselves from men, and their man ideals! We have to have girl on girl sex not because we want to but because we have too! Absolutely ridicules, clown shoes crap.

Main character is an MIT student, you know the school we send like the smartest people we have too, can't figure out shit half the time, somehow instantly good at sailing a f-ing frigate, and suggesting changes to make it better. Barely remembers E=MC2 at the start of the book.... just nonsense all the time.

ALSO, THE SEX SCENES ARE BORING! My spouse and I have more explicit cuddles before I go to work. I could have almost forgave everything in this terrible book if the sex scenes (what I understood the point of the book to be) were like actually sexy and hot, but they aren't!

I've read vastly hotter and more explicit sex scenes in books that are not supposed to be erotic books!

I am so mad...

This could have been a great story, if the author had only worked on it a bit more. The idea is interesting, the characters likeable enough, but the story is just too unrealistic to me. The main character wasn't even a little bit worried about being teleported in time, the pirates accepted a stranger found on their ship without blinking, an engineer student made said pirates fully trust her with new ideas of sails they had never heard of before and even though the main character had never before been on a ship, she could still convince them to make her one of the crew and well, as just stated, mess around with the sails.

Then let's not forget how she was first hot for Liza, then suddenly getting in bed with Kate, and then back to Liza again. Sure you're horny around all these hot pirates but damn, maybe at least check with Liza before banging her captain? And in the end Riley decided to leave Liza without a word of goodbye, just zapping herself into another time period without for a second feeling regret over leaving the pirate she was so damn horny for just a minute earlier.

Idk. I understand that people nowadays want to read and write porn, but can we at least have some kind of decent plot to go with it? At least let it make a little bit sense? Please?

It got two stars because I did like the idea of it and it was somewhat enjoyable, but I wouldn't exactly recommend it to anyone.

Pirate's Bounty is a charming story about a woman who finds a mysterious device that takes her back to 1705 on board an all-female pirate ship. It explores her adventures on the boat and her deepening relationships with the Captain and the Quartermaster.

I enjoyed this read; I'd give it a 3.5 if I could! It was a quick read but it was a fun look into life in the 1700s on the high seas. I wish the steamy scenes would've been a bit more fleshed out since this book is marketed as Erotica, but it was still a really interesting read! I definitely want to read the rest of this series and other books by the author!

A great book when you don't have much time and want a quick romp ;)

An interesting start to Riley's time travel story! I liked the pirate adventures and some of the engineering aspects! Super curious about her time travel phone tool and how it came to her. lol I do feel that the pacing was a little off for me, maybe a bit choppy. There's not really much character development but that makes sense with how short the book is but overall a decent and entertaining story. I was a little sad of where Riley left off because it would have been fun to see how she enjoyed some of her spoils before her next adventure. I suppose I wanted a little more closure of that story before her next jump.

3.2 out of 5 rating for me!

HOT STORY !

First of all the story is well written, Victoria knows how to write stories. The plot is very interesting, also there is a building erotic tension between the two women who will make love. Hot erotic scenes are in quite details, i liked more a scene full of hot tribbing. I also liked that when the heroine made love with another woman, they both kept talking (lover's light trash talk) at the very same time they made love. It is something one rarely finds in erotic stories. I liked the story.

Riley finds a cell phone under a bush. She picks it up but cannot find an owner for it. She decides to see if she can open it. She does and is sucked into the past. She wakes aboard a pirate's ship with an all-female crew. What happens to her on the ship? Can she get back to her own time?

I enjoyed this book. It was a fast read. I could not put it down. I liked that Riley ends up on a female crewed pirate ship. I also liked that she used her knowledge of today to help the pirates defeat other pirates. I cannot wait to read more of Riley's adventures or travels.

A quick little pirate story that didn't say a lot about pirating, Reading this book was more like watching a Pirate flick on Cinemax after dark. When it got boring, sex was thrown in. Luckily only takes about an hour or so to read.
