The son of a Princeton classics professor, Charles A. Robinson Jr. graduated from Princeton in 1922. He spent post-graduate years at the American Academy in Rome, and later became a professor at Brown University.

Glad to finally read some classics. The translations were very different, especially the last play that was completely in vernacular.

Great anthology. Includes Agamemnon, Lysistrata, Antigone, Medea, Oedipus and Hippolytus.
