When high-society women are found dead in their opulent California homes, Jessie Hunt is summoned to crack the case. With little to connect them—other than hidden scandal—Jessie is at a loss. Why are they being targeted? And who is next?
These wealthy wives and moms are unlikely targets, and with no sign of foul play, connecting the dots seems impossible.
Yet Jessie digs deep, plumbing this exclusive world for clues, finding out more than she wished she’d ever knew.
But every society has a dark side.
And Jessie may just be about to step into a killer’s arms.
A fast-paced psychological suspense thriller with unforgettable characters and heart-pounding suspense, the JESSIE HUNT series is a riveting new series that will leave you turning pages late into the night.

Even though these books aren't great (and I suspect that "Blake Pierce" is a group of authors), they hit the spot for me, like watching cable TV crime show episodes. I know the characters well enough to want to know what happens to them, and this one mostly resolved the giant cliffhanger at the end of the previous volume. I also find this series to be less "bad" (weird unfitting cultural or regional references than some of the other series by Blake Pierce).
I know this wasn’t the final book in the series, but considering I’ve pretty well read the first 23 consecutively, I won’t be surprised if this is where I let Jesse Hunts story end, and honestly, this book was perfect to tie all of the previous 22 together in a nice bow with an ending leaving you hopeful for more.. and isn’t that the best type of ending?
This was a great book and quick read. The unfolding of Hannah’s character is great. I can’t wait to see where she goes. The book was fast paced and it was a page turner. Looking forward to the next book
Blake Pierce’s Jessie Hunt series is totally amazing. Twenty-three books into it and I still devour them in 2 days. The stories are fast paced, extremely hard to put down, and always entertaining. This book is no different, it starts up with Jessie’s kidnapping from her wedding by Andy and roars through a very difficult time for all. Not much to go on as Andy is a planner to the nth degree in taking all things into account. Ryan her fiancé is leading the task force to find her, and Kat and Hannah are nor directly part of it, but Ryan is reminded that they can play a very pivotal part in finding Jessie as Hannah is very much like her sister in being brilliant at taking tidbits of information and figuring out what it means. We find out the reason Andy is the way she is and it’s understandable why she has turned out to be the very person she is and is doing what she has done. I definitely felt sorry for her. But without giving away the ending I’m not sure she is truly gone. She is an amazing resilient woman and may come back yet. And Operation Z will it be carried out or found out? We need to keep reading to know for certain. Highly recommend this series but set aside a weekend as you will not be able to put it down or you will hate yourself for having to put it down before you finish it.
This the 23rd book 📚📖 in the series Jessie Hunt Psychological Suspense Thriller was a real Thriller. I love the chase the way Andy Robinson led them on a wild chase with lies, misdirection and more misdirection. She seemed to have planned the abduction of Jessie for a while. We are glad that her sister Hannah and Kat were able to figure out what crazy acting Andy Robinson was up to before it was to late. I really enjoyed this 📚📖 but you probably can tell I am a fan because this is my 23rd Jessie Hunt Psychological Suspense Thriller and I can't wait for the next one. This book or better yet the series I would highly recommend.
This book was crazy. Andrea is still showing up, 23 books later. I am so impressed by the author in the way he weaves the stories together. Hannah is amazing. She and Kat are a great team. Totally shocked that one of the guys gave up his life to save Jessie. I’m really glad Jesse isn’t going down the route of not being in love with Ryan anymore but instead having feelings for Andrea. Good way to try to Trick her. Also, thought the shoe was brilliant, but would only work if someone stumbled upon it. I can’t imagine being trapped in a minute. And who knows what will happen next because there’s still one more worker bee out there waiting to do stuff for Andrea.
I love this series. Yes, it gets sllloooooowww in the middle series with the same relative plot, but this is one of the books where it starts to pick up. Honestly I like all the false leads Andy comes up with to waste law enforcements time and I love how we see a different side of Andy that has you feel almost bad for her for a minute. But only for a minute. I'm curious to read the next book to see how Jessie handles seeing Andy fall to her death and work on her feelings at Ryan for him not being the one to save him.

Everything that could go wrong goes wrong in Jessie's life, not even her wedding day is spared but she could count on her friends and family to go looking for her and to release her from her captor. Good story, I loved to read how Hannah seems to be all grown-up and mature surprising all those around her. Let's see which surprises the following books in the series will bring!
This is such a great series. 23 books in and the storyline has progressed nicely. There’s always plenty of tension and plot twists. I enjoyed the conclusion to the plot line that has continued through the last several books. It was a nailbiter and left possibility for future tension from a new foe.
I'm getting to not like Jessie Hunt any more because some of the parts are just no believable. The author has never lived in a rural town people surely would have remembered someone making an old mine shaft into a room. And shooting a handcuff off Jessies wrist in a cave with a metal plate hanging from it the bullet could have ricocheted all over and killed her or someone else. Really?

I have been so excited for this book to be released!!! It Definitely did not disappoint and is probably one of my favorite books in this series. I absolutely could not put it down.
Maybe 3.5 stars. Least favorite of the whole series so far. It was just a weird dynamic between Andy and Jessie and it wasn’t as captivating as the others have been
