2 Uplifting Stories The Rancher's Legacy and Their Ranch Reunion
Review of the first book: THE RANCHER'S LEGACY by Jessica Keller
I love the depth of the characters. I can sympathize with the emotions being tossed around, the need to strive for our own dreams while wanting to do what is best for the family.
Set at the foster program at a ranch during the most important Christian holiday of the year, you know you'll be getting some heart-tugging moments.
Also, what keeps me flipping pages is the attraction between Rhett and Macy. Gotta love an irresistible 2nd chance, friends-to-lovers romance!!
Oh, and Kodiac has got me by the heart strings too :)
Of all the things mentioned I already, I MOST LOVE the way each character is pulled toward God is such a compelling, natural way that I can imitate. Chains fall away, trust in God is restored, friendships -- and more -- are rekindled. But above all that is a girl and guy falling madly in love with their Father God who loves them so much!
A story of turning to God, who loves us so much He sent His Son to die to bring us back to Him, of forgoing the risk of rejection and saying what is most important, of family, home, and most importantly, committing together.
One more note: you would think that a "Christian romance" always mentions God. That is mostly true, but not always. And DEFINITELY not to the extent of the characters polishing off their faith and pursuing Christ who pursues them! This is one of the novels where MY FAITH IS BOLSTERED. Especially during Lent, I am SO APPRECIATIVE to be drawn toward the redeeming love of Christ through Keller's Love Inspired romance!
I just found my annual Easter read!
[Finished The Rancher's Legacy on 3/12/2026. Then took a break to read a non-romance before starting Book #2.]
A dog trainer turned rancher and contractor find love with their old flames.
Enjoyed both authors stories. The first one was a new author to me. The second author was familiar to me. Rhett and Macey story was one of coming home. Rhett was up to coming home takeover the family ranch. But coming home to Macey maybe the best thing he ever did. She grounded him and the worked well together. He fell back in love with her too. He even found something knew about himself too. Andrew and Carly story was sweet too. There first meeting after many years didn't go well. But as they were together all that changed. Andrew fell in love with Carly and her daughter Megan . Looking forward to both these series.
Loved both of these books. The one by Mindy Obenhaus is part of a series and my library does not have any of the others. Look of .y local used bookstore I will be heading your way!!!!!! I would highly recommend you read this book.
