See, suddenly, it got more interesting. I don't know how. A guy got released from the prison after serving 15 years and there's this thick tension emanating from the pages ever since that I can't quite put into words. It's reeking of uneasiness.
Plus, this girl. Bro, she is poison. Straight poison. Such a fucked up kink. I can't even.
I read this series online over 3 days and didn't really stop to think of it as a serialized work. So this is more a general review of the whole series without spoilers.
Overall: I really liked it. This could have been very generic however the strong character decisions and quirks make this series a blast to read and very fun time.
I do feel the series eventually becomes more story driven and a bit more boring as we get less character moments. The ending to me is weak.
However as a whole work I enjoyed it and had a great time
So this series is definitely more of a slow burn than I originally thought it was going to be, but regardless, I’m still very much enjoying it. The ending of this volume sets up what is likely to be a fairly big plot point and I’m curious to see how our leading man is going to handle it.
