This books covers 4 prominent figures from Lahore. These include Sir Ganga Ram, Malik Mairaj Khalid, Dr. Rasheed Chaudhry and last but not the least, Dr. Amjad Saqib himself.
It is a plausible effort. However, as the writer narrates about the 3 personalities other than himself, the description seldom lets us forget that it is, in the end, probably about the writer himself than anything else. This one aspect makes the reading at times less objective, even harbouring on the border of self aggrandizement and thus boring. This is not to say anything about the writer's contribution through his initiatives for micro loans. It is the way this book is penned that makes it a rather difficult, less enjoyable of a read.
