Such a fun and informative read about visiting Cedar Point in 1935. I wish every amusement park had a book written about it like this one.

This was a fun little nostalgic passion project on the part of the author. It was nice to hear about some of the attractions that Cedar Point called home before it went all-in on thrill rides. This was a bit rambly and poorly written at times, but still a fun "quick" (even though it took me a decent amount to finish due to a lack of initiative I guess) read.

Quick, easy read. Really enjoyed this glimpse into the past of what Cedar Point was like in the 1930s after a recent visit in 2025. Love the authors first hand experience working at the park and the history of Hotel Breakers. Recommend to anyone who enjoys a side of history with their thrill rides!

This is a fun little look at Cedar Point circa 1935. The POV / pronounced slice lof life style did get old after awhile, it was fascinating to see just how much the park has changed. After all, I know it as America's Roller Coast!

I really loved this book! I actually felt like I had hopped on the author’s Time Machine and stepped back to 1930’s Cedar Point! And what an amazing trip!
