Bridget Williams is a editor who has been forced to give up everything due to her medical illness and pregnancy. Trying to accept her fate, Bridget attempt to make her home in quiet suburb of New South Wales. Things change when she bumps into Lorena Smith who tells her that she saw a murder. Bridget doesn't believe Lorena, but when she disappears and so does her baby Stella, Bridget begins to ask questions. Out of practice and troubled by her own demons, she may not be up for the job, but she doesn't have a choice.

I’ve also discovered a deep passion for helping others develop their research and creative skills—something that has become one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life.

Stella is a concise, yet compelling read! Bridget Williams has a life many would envy: she is a married, stay-at-home mom with an infant son. However, she is plagued with unease with her new life. She used to be a successful investigative reporter and she loved the job, but she chose to give it up. Did she make a mistake? When she gets involved in the life of an acquaintance and witnesses a murder, no one believes her. But as a former reporter, she cannot let it go. What happens next? I suggest you read Stella to find out!
