When American covert operative Chase Fulton takes a meeting with a mysterious figure, who claims to hold first-hand knowledge of never-before-revealed information that promises to change Chase’s life forever, an unsanctioned mission and a terrifying journey into the depths of his psyche are launched, leaving both Chase’s future, as well as his past, in question.
Having spent the years since his potentially catastrophic injury growing stronger physically, as well as mentally, and as Chase takes one more stride toward mirroring the achievements of his mentor, he is faced with a fight that may leave his already battle-torn body with wounds too deep to heal and covered by the blood of a man who may have never existed.
Loyalties are tested, and fortitude is tried, as three decades of history are torn apart in search of a man who could be nothing more than a lie told to destroy one of America’s greatest warriors and shred Chase’s faith like sails in a hurricane’s terrible blow.
Can Chase overcome the mysteries of the past and defeat an enemy against whom he may be powerless? From the scorching beaches of the Florida Keys, to the impoverished jungles of Guatemala, walk alongside Chase Fulton and experience the soul-shaking agony of the conflict that may ultimately be the undoing of not only his life, but also his very soul.
Creator of The Chase Fulton Novels series and The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins Series, Cap Daniels is a former sailing charter captain, scuba and sailing instructor, pilot, Air Force veteran, and civil servant of the U.S. Department of Defense. Raised far from the ocean in rural East Tennessee, his early infatuation with salt water was sparked by the fascinating, and sometimes true, sea stories told by his father, a retired Navy chief petty officer. Those stories of adventure on the high seas sent Cap in search of adventure of his own, which eventually landed him on Florida’s Gulf Coast where he and his wife Melissa spend as much time as possible on, in, and under the waters of the Emerald Coast.
With a headful of larger-than-life characters and their thrilling exploits, Cap pours his love of adventure and passion for the ocean onto the pages of his action adventure series, The Chase Fulton Novels and his new series Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins.
Inspired by the likes of John D. Macdonald’s Travis McGee, Randy Wayne White’s Doc Ford, and Wayne Stinnett’s Jesse McDermitt, Cap creates thrilling tales of action and adventure set throughout the Caribbean and coastal Florida and Georgia by intertwining nautical adventure with international espionage. Cap’s Chase Fulton Novels series promises to keep readers on the edge of their seats, trying to guess what new danger or adventure lies just around the corner.
The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins series is a spin-off starring the most controversial and intriguing character from the Chase Fulton Novels. After defecting to the United States, Anastasia "Anya" Burinkova, a former Russian SVR assassin and intelligence operative puts her lethal skill set into action against the powerful Russian Mafia. In this gritty, organized-crime thriller series, Cap Daniels takes his readers into the dark underworld of the Russian Mafia weaving actual events into fiction to leave the reader's heart pounding and their fingers itching to turn the page.

Cap, I hate to say it but I found the first book in this series that I didn’t just love. Sorry but just didn’t feel there was enough story in this one and not a good ending in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve already preordered the Darker Chase and the Anya book coming out soon so you didn’t run me off. I just feel this was a one off I hope and that you’ll have a return to form with the upcoming books.
If you want action, suspense, even a little love thrown in, you don't need to miss this series. This is the 18th one and as soon as I read the last page, I go for the next one.
Chase and his team are back, and as usual, wherever they go, they get into trouble!! This time his best friend, Clark, has come to him and tells him that they need to meet this man that has requested a meeting with them. What Chase finds out will change his life and his team will have a new mission, one that is very close to Chase.
The ending on this one will surprise you. And, Chase and his team pick up some new equipment!!!
Just when I thought it couldn't get any better I'm 'slapped silly'! Without a doubt THE Best of the series thusfar... new elements, characters, and assets as well as twists and turns and Intrigue galore. The main storyline twist was so interesting and shocking, yet plausible. And the descriptive writing of the action and content was terrific and had me wrought with emotion numerous times ! And, (spoiler alert) the double climactic ending was thrilling and unexpected. I only wish I could write as well as Cap Daniels so I could do this review justice.
Cap does it again. Delivering another fantastic story that captivates you until the very end. Chase and family are faced with professional and personal upheavals and being the heroes they are they rise to meet monsters and prove that the good guys will win. Great story, amazing characters it’s just begging to be read. Daniels keeps upping the bar and I m just waiting to read what comes next!
Every thing was flowing easily and I was enjoying all of the New toys acquired...Then Guatemala and all bets were off. Chase was right, WAY too many mistakes!! As a former CCT member, me yelling at him (like screaming at your sports team on TV) made seeing how it all turned out...allowed me to finally breathe. Great job, Cap, making me read other offerings of yours till December??!!
When a mission gets personal it becomes absolutely vital and extra dangerous. Chase and the team are in for a real challenge with a lot of uncertainty. Another exciting story right down to the final chapter that I again could not put down, and once again Daniels has surprises even when I feel sure I know where things are headed. I can’t wait for the next Chase Fulton adventure!
Cap Daniels is a master story teller! This one, has a predictable ending, but you never know for sure what will happen with Chase and the boys. Practically read it cover to cover though I am supposed to be getting ready for a Fourth of July family celebration.this book will not disappoint!
He's done it again! Another spectacular, nail-biting, edge-of-your-seat adventure. Cap Daniels is a superb story teller with an eye for detail and a love of excitement. I love each of his characters and cannot wait for the next book. If you are new to this series, I envy you the excitement and pure joy you are about to experience. Have FUN!
This book started off quick and picked up pass to the very end. The twists and turns followed always to the end of the last word on the last page. I hate it will be several months until I get to read the next one in the series. Well done Cap. Nice bringing in Wayne Stinnett and paying tribute to another writer.
I love this series and have read everyone that has been published. I feel like the characters are almost like family. I appreciate that they are full of adventure, but the language and life are clean. Thank you Cap for this great series. Please keep writing.
New toys, new team members, new friends, new revelations! This series is an entertaining read like a James Bond movie starring Sean Connery or Daniel Craig. If you are a fan of the series you want be disappointed by this latest offering. My favorite characters are Earl and Singer.
Family means everything. Brotherhood by blood of by choice is a bond that can be tested.
After 30 years, finding out there's a brother you have never known is unbelievable. Chase needs to find that blood relationship for the family connection he lost as a child. His family of creation is there to assist. Can Chase trust the brother he just my with all he has? Good story line.
I have loved every single book in this series - until this one. I felt it was lacking in the usual story and just seemed rushed with everything happening so fast. The ending was a very quick wrap up and just not what I’ve come to expect from this series. Can’t wait to read the next one as I’m sure this was just a blip.
After a long wait, Sunken Chase is an absolutely fantastic Chase Fulton adventure. The twists and turns in this adventure are unpredictable, humorous and sad. Love Singer's devotion. Great job, Cap. Keep them coming.
Excellent storey, much better than the last two books. Glad to read that the hero ? Chase did not lose anymore body parts, limbs, unnecessarily like in previous books..
I didn't see that coming - times 5! Cap Daniels has a way of sneaking stuff into his stories that may shock, sadden, thrill you or just leave you scratching your head! i thought I had it all figured out... I didn't see THAT coming
I really like Cap Daniels, Chase Fulton Novels. These are thrillers you can't put down. The Sunken Chase is novel # 18 in the series. You'll want to read them all.
Words are hard to say that this story was never ending with so many people who were there with Chase and crew the plot twists and good things that happened spies that lie treachery abounds great story...Pur a vida from Costa Rica.
I have read all 18 of Cap's "Chase Fulton" series and have enjoyed every word. I have read a lot of books by famous authors in my lifetime, but none have kept me turning pages like Cap Daniel does. Thanks again Cap for a great read!
I have read every book in the series and think this is one of Caps best. Introducing new characters and bringing back old ones was splendid. I couldn't put this one down as Chase and team are gifted a new "toy" Thanks Cap
Cap Daniels, you keep writing these books! Thank You! Also, I love that you put Wayne Stinnet in this one! He also never fails to write a great story! I already have 19 waiting for me in my kindle! Thank You!
A little too “in your face” for my taste. Full of bluster and testosterone and not enough nuance. This one had the vibe of guys around the water cooler playing can you top this. Definitely a work of fiction that falls just short of Sgt. Rock and Marvel Comics. Give me more story and less bravado.
This series by Cap Daniels is a must read series, but I strongly recommend that start at book one of the series as Cap starts a story line there that follow s thru the series one way or other. The books in my opinion get better with each book.
It seems that Chase’s brother is alive in Guatemala and he assembles a team to find him. A new ship is added to Chase’s armada. Mongo finally proposes to his lady as the ship is christened. The ending of this story leaves me waiting for The Darker Chase as it should.
In my opinion, Cap Daniels is a gifted, phenomenal painter of the written word. The Chase Fulton series contains unforgettable characters, fantastic descriptions, and on the edge of your seat action. I don’t want this series to end. I read 2 books a week and this is my favorite series of any other I have read. Cap, keep on painting. I am looking forward to uncovering all your words of art!
I have read 18 of your books so far, I've enjoyed every one of them. They are very well written and are full of excitement. You write like you know the details of all the areas, machinery, and people you write about. I Will recommend your work to al I know.
Another fabulous story from Cap Daniel’s. Even when there wasn’t so-called action it was interesting. He keeps adding new equipment and all the things it does, it’s quite magical. Love his stories.
To bring in a brother for Chase and then to eliminate him in the same book was interesting. But that was only a vehicle to pitch Chase and his organisation against the VIA in future novels is a master stroke.
