From managing her school’s cool-off event to cheering on a test of courage, Kanna is busier than ever. Saikawa plays a big part in the field day event in the name of love! And a special two-part story explores Kanna and Ilulu’s relationship. Honesty is always the best policy!
More of a 3.5 star rating; I liked that we got to see a bit more of Lucoa and Fafnir in this volume, since I think those characters aren’t shown as much when it comes to interacting with Kanna. I also really liked seeing how happy Kanna was in the chapter where she was able to text Kobayashi when the woman was at work. I especially liked when Kanna made a gift for Ilulu since that moment showed how close the 2 girls had gotten and I really like seeing the closeness of the Kobayashi (found) family.

This has probably been the funniest volume of this spin-off so far. Plenty of hijinks that are absurd but not something you can't imagine actually happening aside for the fact that half the characters are dragons of course. The unicycle race and the horse racing chapters are the standouts of this volume.
An excellent example of creating a real world environment in a purely fictional world. In this volume you can actually see the meat going on the bones.
