The lore of Pippi-kun was so precious and hilarious.

I genuinely took two whole pages of notes while reading this, y'all. It was definitely one of my favorite volumes of Kyuu-chan so far!!
This group of coworkers/friends/acquaintances is just the best. I was absolutely grinning all the way through. It was such a wonderful treat to watch people who hadn't met previously, now cross paths and become familiar. Hinata and Kyuu's circle really is special!
Ooshima once again really stole my heart in this volume. I appreciate him for representing all of us folks who get attacked by our lovely animals. There was a story about him in this volume that made me tear up a bit, that dealt with the death of his previous bird partner, Pi-tan. For anyone who has experienced a painful loss of a pet (I know I have), it might make you a bit sad, but the story is actually happy and hopeful. Ooshima is very loved by his very tsun bird(s), that's for sure. <3
Ooshima is also revealed to be a Jojo fan (pg. 98, one of the first questions he asks a girl he's interested in is "What's your favorite Jojo arc?"), so we really can't help but stan!
The security guard is another one of my favorite characters, he has a really strong design and such a cute personality. Ending the volume with him and Uni was just perfect. <3
This volume had a beach day episode and also a Matsuri episode, so that's how you know it's really peak. I could watch Kyuu-chan and friends forever and ever. Knowing that this series has ended causes me physical pain in my heart, but I'm enjoying it so much while I'm reading it. <3

There is a story in this particular book that tugs the heart strings a little. Pets are always with us.

Another cute volume. So upbeat and wholesome. My favorite character is Pippi the cockatiel. (I also have a sassy cockatiel who bites sometimes).
