Kousuke and Sylphy’s Liberation Army are making big moves! But just as they’re settling into their newly captured base, betrayal strikes from within their own ranks! What’s a crafty survivor from another world to do when he’s trapped behind enemy lines and at the mercy of three very slimy sisters? He’ll have to go under all sorts of covers if he ever wants to see his dark elf mistress again!
Volume 3 is much like the previous two volumes, although this time Kousuke does get into a bit of trouble and the book ends in somewhat of an open ending (not in direct hot water, but still not in the free so to speak). It does reveal a bit on the ending the author appears to be working towards, which is a good thing in my opinion. Like the previous volumes some of the interaction with the women in his life is a bit questionable, not the MC's own action, but that of the women. They seem to take a bit of a liberty with the concept of consensual at times. The MC seems to be fine with it though (and I am well aware this is a bit of a reverse from usual, but that does not make it better). I also find his conclusions on the origins of the demihumans a bit odd, especially since he bases it on religious texts in a world with gods and magic. My first thought would definitely not be genetic engineering. Still, it was an entertaining read, despite the occasional eyeroll.
This volume shows Kousuke's inner conflict upon learning about Adolism as he was getting to know Eleonora the Saint of Truth since being betrayed and captured by Cuvi. The character Melty should be given respect as she made hardest choice of having her own horns cut off to take on a solo-infiltration mission to find Kousuke in the capital of the Kingdom of Merinard. Eventually, Melty successfully found him and were on route to regroup with Liberation Army. Given what Kousuke had been through, there will be complications in the next volume.
Problemas no front.
My first is a scene where it’s heavily implied that the MC was drugged and raped by his companions the Harpies.
And basically they just brush it aside and act like everything is good.
And my second problem was that I lost interest. I tried to keep reading past that scene, but the book just didn’t hit the same. I got bored. Especially after his capture.

the Adventure Continues and it's been good so far. I'm still enjoying the characters there's humor as well as Adventure although the main character is a little whiny he's not as bad as some protagonists in other stories I have read.
It gets a little dull around the middle and the author's more annoying habits are on display in this one. The first two volumes were fun reads so I'm hoping this series picks back up in volume four.
The harem really escalates quickly in this series. Kousuke really just goes with the flow. Some betrayal this go round and a change of setting; this continues to be a fun series IMO.
