Excellent book full of life-giving Truth. Should be re-read often, for we quickly forget how great is our God.

I love this little book written by Octavia's Winslow and have read it many times. I recently read this book with a friend who had suffered many trials and was full of " Why Lord?" Renewing our knowledge of who The Bible says God is was a good place to begin healing. From the first chapter of The God of Love to the last This God is Our God Winslow shines a beautiful light on who Our God truly is and we fall on our faces worshiping , praising , thanking , and are humbled that we can have this Great God as Our God and know He is a faithful
God and whatever He ordains is right . This book is a good starting place , but go on to read AW Pink 's Attributes of God and experience the truth of this Incomprehensible God who desires us to know Him and worship Him.

The author examines several of the perfections of God in a heart-warming manner. I quote from the introduction. As is true of all Winslows writings, this volume is a gem. Representing devotional writing at its finest, it is replete with God and Christ centered statements for spiritual edification. Use this book to treasure those sacred truths of scripture that will mold your thoughts, words, and actions for Chridtian living.
