'Oh, Lord, why have You sent this trouble my way? Are You trying to teach me something? If so, can we just get it over with and move on?'

I read my first book by Linda Goodnight a year ago and she very quickly became a favorite. Her well-written stories featuring very believable characters with real life problems, good plots and a strong spiritual thread make for a fantastic read. I absolutely love it when I connect with characters. And I always connect with Goodnight's characters. Even the secondary ones. I am on a mission to read her entire back list. It's a pretty long one, too, but I'm making good headway. I can very highly recommend this author.

For the love of his lady.

Nash and Morgan had always been friends and in love with each other even if they did not know it. The football career he had wanted that was going to provide money, riches and fame was well on its way. What did it bring to Morgan and her family, A lot of heartache, money problem and a new baby. Davis was his Mom's life and she would always protect him. When Nash needed help he left Florida and headed home. He would do his thinking on the ranch. Read this book and decide if Nash handles this situation correctly along with God's help.

Touching Story

The story was beautiful and touching and had wonderful characters. I loved Nash, and my heart went out to him and what he was going through. I also loved Poppy and his words of wisdom. I had to smile at how he managed to say them just at the right time which managed to keep everyone in check.

Her Secret Son is a combination of romance and faith. However, it also has an underlying message of the importance of real and honest communication and going straight to the source. It truly is a wonderful and touching story.

Linda Goodnight writes a story that is well written and full of heart! The characters and storyline is well thought out.

We return to Sundown Valley where Harlow Mathewson is struggling to keep the family farm afloat while keeping her family safe and loved. Along comes her childhood friend, the now famous NFL star, Nash Corbin. He is broke, both physically and financially. To his surprise, he is the father of Harlow’s young son, Davis. Can Harlow and Nash learn to forgive and trust again?

I really enjoyed this Love Inspired, clean, romance. I bought this at a local store and I voluntarily chose to review this story. I've given it a 5* rating It's a second chance for this couple with a child unknown to him. Lots going on in this story and plenty to enjoy. Add a agent that's a scoundrel and there is more underlying their relationship.

I love this series

I have not read a book by Linda Goodnight that I haven't loved. This has so many twists to their HEA, it kept me up past my bedtime. I always recommend books by MS Goodnight

Beautiful

I was without words throughout the story. It has laughter, sadness, drama and everything in between. With God throughout, guiding everyone, even when they were unaware. How can it get any better. I highly recommend this book!

I loved the surprise baby trope combined with small-town pro athlete trope.

Linda Goodnight develops such interesting characters and throws them in awkward situations that keep the reader engaged.

This is a sweet, clean Christian romance that fans will enjoy!

What an uplifting and inspiring romance filled with twists and turns! My only disappointment is having to wait for the next in the series to come! Very good read!

Another great story by Linda Goodnight. Nash did not know about his son and a lot of other things. Nash and Harlow has a lot to work out. I enjoyed reading their story.

A Good Story

Harlow loved this man her entire life, and it took awhile for him to catch on. Nash learned to embrace what was his. He was a man of integrity-- shortsighted but good.

The book was good, but I thought the writer could have taken the story line deeper and included more details. It was an enjoyable read.
