Homies, Lovers And Friends 4: A Brooklyn Love Story
With all that these couples have been through, you would think things become easier. That's not the case at all!

That female narrator is not making this a good experience for me 🤦🏽♀️….she’s terrible!

I saw the length of this book and immediately complained because gahhh damn. 512 pages *AND* the nerve to have another book after this??? I shut up though because I knew I was going to read boffum anyway lol. (EDIT: There’s actually THREE more books after this one [two more in this series and one spinoff/standalone]. I’m not doing all of that. The last chapter of this book puts a nice little bow on what the characters have gone through so far and is a good stopping point if you don’t want to read those books either.)
I’m so happy Milli and Kelsie got their shit together. And they got it together a lot sooner than I thought they would. Milli is the homie so I was tired of Kelsie putting him through it. I’m also tired of my niece, Miracle, being in the damn hospital. This time it was due to her condition but still. Why can’t this baby catch a break, Jahquel?
Since Milli is my favorite character overall, I guess I’ll give my second favorite character spot to Patsy. I really didn’t care about her story in the beginning of the series but now? That’s my girl. I’m so proud of the growth that she displayed and the fact that she stood on business with Mello.
And last but not least, Thor and Michelle. I can’t even lie to y’all. I slowly started to not care about their storyline. Tbh it’s dragging. If they have POVs in the next book, there’s a strong possibility that I’m just going to skim them 😬 Thor and Michelle are cute though. I’ll give them that. I also loved that Michelle finally stood up to Tasheem’s grimey ass.

This was perfect . I’m so sad and happy for Patsy. I pray she find true happiness. Mello was dead wrong for pillow talking bout his wife to his mistress that way. I don’t want to see him happy. That was mad disrespectful and unnecessary, you could have left. Oh my heart breaks for her.

The fact that it’s 2-3 more books after this , is insane.
It’s good , but it should be done.
This one ends , as if cool everybody good. Life is moving on. Soooooo whyyyy in the Helly - Berry is there more books. lol. Somebody should have just got a spin off at this point.

If this is the end…
I actually don’t mind this being the end of this series. If there’s a phrase like “reading aggressively,” that’s certainly what I did with these four books. The drama and the messiness has been epic but I’ve enjoyed reading the growth of the characters- Patsy for example is a favourite but also Michelle and Kelsie on their journey to finding their HEAs. Perhaps for me they were a little too “my man” (with the exception of Patsy), or perhaps the FMCs were a little too dependent on the men to fix something in their lives. Nonetheless, this author knows how to write superbly real characters who are problematic but compelling, who make humanly stupid decisions and who face consequences beyond what they expected and I loved it! Highly recommend this series. I know there’s a book 5 but I can’t think of what’s left to resolve.

This was a good book !! I’d say, with all that’s going on this wasn’t my favorite but man I’m so happy for Thor and Michelle !!! I was happy this book ended on a high note (somewhat lol). I’m interested to see what else will be talked about in book 5. Overall, 3.5/5 ⭐️

Read 4 books so far this author is so good . I enjoy reading his books. All the coup!we are good together Michelle and thor love the two of them tobether , Michelle have truly come a long way with the help of thor. Maggie is a trip trying over thor when he doesn't want her. Leslie and milli together they are a lot of fun glad Leslie finally woke up and got with milli. When mill I took miracle to the daughter daddy dance showed that he was a good man and to adopt her was truly great. When miracle called him daddy I was happy for her she was a sting little girl. Glad that the author put Leslie with milli really wasn't feeling emont Keith Leslie and neither was miracle. Mello did parts so wrong and the things that he told kenyetta about his wife was wrong. Now that he realized what he had with patsy now is too late he treated parts so bad for kenyetta but look how Jeanette made him look stupid by him taking care of a child that is not his, but he is a good man for doing that kenyetta was nothing but a college educated thot. That saying is so true never miss the well until the well runs dry. Patsy and mello was a cute couple together. I loved kenyetta's mom I like the way she broke the shit down to her daughter that what she did was wrong. Being by she's been in that site that patsy was in she knew what patsy was going through and Jeanette was wrong for still dealing with hello when she found out he was married and knew what her mother went through she did the same thing to patsy. Happy that hello is truly seeing Jeanette true colors though even thor all of this is his fault. Kim Kim Kim what can you say about a boss mom loved how she loved how she handle Kenyetta at her house. The best part was when parts slapped kenyetta at the chocolate factory restaurant. One thing that you learn from. This book is that a married man gonna tell you what he wants to go get what he wants from you but when things come to light and they have too choose the wife will always win.

I love this story. Mellor got what he deserved , he should have never cheated on Pat. The grass is not greener on the other side. About time Milli and Kels got together and playing damn games. And I love Thor. Michelle got her a good man. You are a great writer.

A great ending to a great series. All 4 books are well written with great flows. The characters are likeable, believable and realistic. Drama with a twist. Hope there will be spin offs for all the other characters including Kim.

Michelle finally have a man that appreciated her in everyway, and she truly deserved it. Tasheem finally was given the karma that he had coming to him. Michelle had finally gained a voice, and she was indeed standing up to herself more than ever, and it's about time, because she didn't have that before. The ending was so hilarious to me, because it was time that Michelle recieved the last laugh, and Tasheem is now going to be the one that's going to be living in fear.
Thor was the one to complete Michelle, and made her his Queen. It was everything that a woman would want and need. I hated to see the hold that Maggie had with him, and she used her son in everyway. There are so many women that use a child against a man, and to get what they want, the child is the innocent one in the situation, and it's not fair, or right in anyway. Thor had a heart of gold, and it was about time to him to put his foot down when it came to Maggie. He wasn't the father, and Maggie had her chance, and she messed it up, so that wasn't Thor 's responsibility.
I never thought that Milli and Kelsie would get themselves together, but they did. Kelsie went through so much, and she was an amazing mother to Miracle. Miracle was a beautiful, mature, grateful child, for her she, and she didn't deserve what Marcus did to her. Milli became the father to Miracle that any child would want and need, and it was so wonderful to see. Kelsie had her guards up for a reason, but it definitely paid off. She deserved happiness, and she deserved everything great that came her way. Milli went from a playboy to a family man, and it definitely made me smile.
Most would say that Patsy had the best life, but she didn't. It wasn't about the materialistic things, but the love, support, and loyalty from her husband. Karmello took Patsy for granted, and thought that he could have his cake, and eat it too, but he was sadly mistaken. The betrayal that he did to both his marriage, and Patsy was so disrespectful. He fell in love with another woman, when his wife needed him the most. All she wanted was her husband, and he in return gave his heart, and seed to another woman. He was selfish in his actions, and Kenyetta was wrong for getting pregnant by a married man.... soon of these women don't have any self respect, or fall for anything, and it's sad. A man isn't going to respect a woman that doesn't respect herself, or leave his wife for another woman.

If Spin The Block Was A Book!!!
I’m so happ that Millie and Kelsie got their stuff together. Actually i thought that it would take them a lot longer for them to finally get it together. Millie adopting Miracle was something that pulled at my heart strings because that little girl has been through so much, and she deserves a happy ending with a man who took pride in her and wanted to be there for her and to be her daddy. Big props goes to my guy Millie. Oh yeah, I am about tired of my lil homie miracle being in the hospital all the time. Give her a break please!!!
As far as Mello and Patsy goes, I’m glad that patsy chose herself and decided to give those divorce papers to Mello. He did sis wrong and then had the audacity to belittle and demean her to his side chick. He is foul and I’m glad he is getting everything thats coming to him. That’s why one of his sons really ain’t his. He cheated on his wife and the side chick cheated on the cheater and some how he was mad at Kenyetta. I hope Patsy and Waltz make it, i thing they are a good fit for each other..guess we will see!!!
Maggie was a headache for me because she thought that she could weasel her way into Thors life by using her son which is not his baby. She played him to the left years ago and thought because he had a soft spot for her son that she was entitled to something. I’m glad that my girl Michelle shut that down before it was even a problem.
Last but not least, I’m so freaking proud of Thor and Michelle. They have really blossomed over these last 4 books. They have been a united front every since Thor rescued Michelle from Tasheem old abusive a$$. One thing I don’t understand is why Michelle thought it was a good idea to visit that scumbag abuser in prison? I mean I understand that she need closure, but she could have talked to a therapist. I mean on the other hand I liked the way she bossed up on that loser and let him know that Thor was giving her the business every night and he was showing her how a real man was supposed to treat his woman. The ring and the swollen belly said it all. Thor and Michelle are as happy as can be.

This book was slow paced at times
The first 3 books were well paced but near the end of this one, with kelsies story it just dragged. Certain conversations could’ve been taken out. Certscenes should’ve been replaced with the necessary ones.
I’m really proud of Patsy, she been my favorite from jump. She represents strength.
I think Kelsie is mad selfish. Her mother is tryna live the life she never got to live. She didn’t tell her daughter to have a kid at 18. So if she wanna do something for her and enjoy her life let her. Everybody not the same and she gotta respect what it is.
Thor is the best clearly but Milli has grown a lot this book.
Mello is the type to want his cake and eat it too. He got his wife pregnant so he can’t be mad a Kenyetta for messing with someone else and getting pregnant. He wanted her so bad so he might as well sign them papers n have her
Michelle is immature for the Tasheem situation, I could be saying that cause I put blame on her for staying as long as she did when she had options. She too worried about him, why even visit him to tell him you’re happy? A truly happy person would forget about him and be thankful for their blessings. Cause if I was Tasheem her visiting me would only tell me that she still cares. Hurt people guy people. Best revenge is to act like someone doesn’t exist, he would’ve never heard from me. Never give someone that much power over you.

It was alright
I gave this book four stars because it could have been better for the price. But is was a good book. What I didn't like was Thor's relationship with Maggie and how he continued to help her out when she did him dirty, regardless if he was a kind hearted person. Then for him to lie to Michelle about it and Michelle to dumb to put her foot down and make Thor dead the whole thing, especially when Maggie continued to be disrespectful of her and Thor's relationship. Now Milli was babe, he loved him some Miracle and Kels. Glad Mili and Kels got their relationship together. Hello got what he deserved for the way he did Pasty. If I was Pasty I would divorced his dog pass too. Not sure if I want to read about them, because how does a woman get past her husband having a whole other family on her. Now I would love to read more about Mill's and Kels story. I still think the ending could have been better though.

Great series!
Loved it! I could not put this book down. It was engaging, interesting, well written, well formulated and executed. I'm really sad it has to end. With that being said, I personally think that the chapter with Thor and Michelle is complete, but there is more to know and hear about Mello and Patsy, and Milli and Kelsie. Even thou Mello and Patsy went through so much, I still think there's a story to tell and they will find their way back to each other. Somehow the love and bond that they share is just a lot. I love me some Milli so I would definitely love to hear more about him and what comes next. So hopefully there will be a part 5 or even a spin off.... Great job! A must read!

Part 5 Here I Come!!!!!
Wow and the plot thickens lol.Mellow is just as trifling as it comes.I can't believe the things he has put Patsy thru and no one knew bout it.And I feel bad for Kenyetta in a way because she was young and dumb but after a while you should have known wats up.Now Kelsie and Milli FINALLY stopped playing lol.Im so happy for them,they are definitely my favorite couple.Thor and Michelle are my second favorite and I'm so happy for them.They deserve all the happiness they are getting.Wow I can't believe Marcus and Marina they deserve everything that comes to him.In a way I was sad to hear wat Marina told Kelsie bout the baby but then I was like nope that's KARMA for him.

Well...there was no great cliffhanger at the end of this one like the others
however it was still a really great read! I enjoyed it. I cried real tears when Millie cried when Miracle asked if she could call him daddy😭. Mello had me real heated when Patsy told all she knew in that therapy session. But I won’t reveal anything.

I made it through 3 parts of this series. Well if you wanna call it made it through because I skipped hella chapters to even make it through that. I hate all the characters except miracle and patsy. This author has a thing for women getting beating on, I just read another story by her where the main female character was getting abused by her husband. I see this series is kind of old and I think I read it before, but honestly this book was horrible. All the women were weak asf and sorry asl. Patsy was the only female that had some type of sense and even she didn’t have a job. Hopefully the author does better in other work, the story I just read by her recently was ok, I will try others to see how I feel.

Talking about eye opening! Once Patsy revealed she knew about the texts and everything Mello said to Kenyatta about her and their relationship, I for sure knew it was a wrap for Mello. Y'all this was at almost the end of the book, so imagine everything that happened before that?? This was hands down the best book of the series and I still have one more to go. Ms.Kim does not play, she a siddity-thug!🤣🤣 She wouldn't even call Kenyatta by her name. I'm so glad Milli and Kelsi finally getting it together, and Thor and Michelle, definitely my favorite couple. Tasheem, I would say poor thing but he deserve for Loc to pay him a visit. This going to definitely be a long 12 years for the kid. No need to tell you, but I will...running to book 5. Happy Reading Y'all. 💋

SPIN THIS OFF
First I want to give up on A HONEST TO ALLAH God this was truly a testimony of the biblical sense this series was more than just A damn story it was absolutely gospel I truly love these characters this Author took possession of me... the amazing way she grab my attention was truly phenomenal you go girl now I just got to say I feel sorry for Mello he got what he deserved but that was kind hard... felt all that was crazy he lost his way but that ending lead me to A SPIN-OFF...NOW BUILD HIM BACK UP ......GIVE HIM HIS FAMILY AND MAKE HIM THE MAN PATSY CROWNED ....OUT FREAKING STANDING

This book was the finish line that needs a spinoff!! Patsy was the epitome of a scorned but classy cheated on wife. If that is such a thing. The way she put it aside when it fame to mellows boys was classy. Miracle brought everyone together and Mello I'm just shaking my head at his gossiping pillow talking ass. Kenyetta thot just disappear already. There has to be more to patsy and her happy ending. Kelsie needs a baby too. Milli deserves his own kids too. Great read but I want more.

Love this series
I loved loved loved this series. I really enjoyed reading about all of these characters. I. Also happy about how things turned out. I'm happy that Patsy divorced Mello ass. In the end to find out that he did her dirty he got what he deserved. I'm also excited that Milli and Kelsie are together and it was wonderful what he did for Miracle. This was a excellent series and I'm really looking forward to reading more of your world, I would also love a spinoff of Patsy Mello, Kelsie and Milli

Amazing
I absolutely loved this series. It was so real, these people went through real life situations. I love how Milli adopted Miracle, that baby has been through so much she deserves all the happiness in the world. I was rooting for Mello until Pat revealed all the ish he talked about her to his side chick. He can now stand by and watch her be happy from the sidelines. Thor is definitely that dude! Kudos to him for stepping up for Michelle. I definitely want a spin off of Milli & Kelsie as well as Mello & Pat.
