“When you know, you know.”

Years ago, the actions of Loki’s father ripped his family apart. While they all worked to adjust to the new family dynamic and world they’d never been a part of, Loki met the love of his life. It was too much too soon, and he ran from the pressure and the demons that still haunted him from living under his father’s rule.

Now, not only is Loki back in Colorado Springs but so is the man that holds his heart. After nearly a decade, Loki is ready to make amends and apologize, knowing that the one he loves has probably already moved on. If there’s any way he can have another chance, he’s not going to blow it this time. It took a long time for Loki to realize that he wants what he wants, and the rest of the world would just have to deal with it. Knowing that his family will support the choices he makes, he’s finally ready to take a leap and try again. He’s got his fingers crossed that it’s not too late. Lucky for him, the one he loves is still in love with him - and he’s got even more love to bring into the relationship.

***This book is the third installment in The Tempests series by Cee Bowerman. As usual, Cee writes about love and the roads we have to take to find it. In this book, Loki will be with two people he loves equally. One of them is a man and the other is a woman. Loki’s book tells the story of a MMF relationship with hints of D/s scenes. As usual, love is the main theme in this story, in whatever form it takes. If this type of storyline is not your cup of tea, feel free to skip it, and catch up with the Tempest family in Book 4 - Styx’s story. Either way, happy reading!***

This was fantastic.
I was a little weary when I saw that this was gonna be a ménage, where Loki was not only with Melinda, but also Derek. Only because I’ve never seen this author have that in one of her books, and it can sometimes not be balanced in a way that I enjoy.

But I was pleasantly surprised by this.
Their relationship was so well balanced and everything was equal and loving and just so well done. I loved it.
Of course their relationships evolved a bit differently, but there was a point where they all evened out and became this unit, and it was beautiful.

The sex was a bit kinky and totally steamy and wonderful. The relationship was fun and playful and helped each of them heal in different ways.

I just had a fantastic time, and as always, I Loved all of these characters.
I think that’s something that really stands out about this author, for me. She writes characters that I want to know Everything about. Who are loyal and sometimes crazy, but always a fucking blast to get to know, and I am always sad to have to leave them behind when I finish a book.

I can’t wait to see who’s book is next.

This wasn't what I was expecting but it was fucking amazing.
I loved this one even though the time line kind of confused me at times. I still loved this one.

This one really got to me from the start. Might have been getting to see Loki right away in the aftermath of when his family imploded or it might have been when Loki walked away from Derek knowing he loved him, but his head still screwed from how he was raised. What I really loved though was all of Loki's brothers and sisters knowing what had been going on with Derek and not giving a shit one bit, in fact they were upset Loki left. They were welcoming to Derek when he came to see Loki, finding out he left and kept in touch in the years they were apart.

I wasn't sure who things were going to go when Derek came back with Melanie, but it worked. Once the 3 of them met, it was like something clicked for them all, they just had to figure out how things would work. But even that went pretty easy, I think all of them were finally just happy to be happy, to have people there that would have their backs, to not have to hid anything. I loved seeing Melanie and Derek's reaction to meeting the Forester crew in Rojo, both went in reserved and quickly realized that they didn't have to be, they would be 100% accepted, no matter what.

I loved how this one ended, loved that we got to see the person least likely to want a change pretty much demand one and how happy the 3 of them were.

Get out of your head and free yourself to read this book!

Having turned age 68 last month, I'm pleasantly surprised and amazed at how I continue to expand my thought processes to fully accept ideas that were previously a "hard no". Like this particular book of The Tempests series. Although I had done a 180 degree change--3+ decades ago, by accepting gay marriage, which was tough having endured 9 years of Roman Catholic parochial school brainwashing. However, much as I enjoy reading about super hot sexual encounters between consenting heterosexual people, I thought reading about sex between two males would be a turn off. Boy oh boy...was I wrong!!! Whew! Holy cow! Thanks to my trusty gut telling me to trust Cee Bowerman's ability to have her readers truly feel like they know the main characters I was rewarded with a wonderful story. It's one of my favorites in this genre, and made me think a lot more about love and relationships and how society needs to evolve further. Heartfelt thanks to Cee for providing a powerful opportunity for learning within the wonderfully moving stories you create. And the sex is 🔥🔥🔥 too... 😉 ♥

Gonna have to DNF this one.

I really went into this with an open heart and that is probably why I cried 2 chapters in HAHAHAHA my own personal trauma's really said "You thought you could read this....?Lol. No" I have been HUMBLED lmao!

I have no doubt that this would have been another legendary read from Cee Bowerman so I really mean no offense in doing this. Super stoked one of my favourite authors braved approaching a sensitive subject, moreover as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community this was a touching gesture but I obviously have a lot of unaddressed issues I gots to deal with first.

Anywho hopefully sometime in the future, when I have a little more therapy under my belt and my religious trauma has been addressed, I can circle back to this and finish it. Until then....

A definite must read book and series

This series has been heartbreaking, emotional, humorous, and intriguing. Each story is as unique as the characters they are about, and will make you eager for the next release. This book was a bit different, but I absolutely loved that the author was creative, as well as sensitive, regarding the characters and their story. It's certainly not one that you'll want to miss!
I love when the characters from Rojo, Tx are included with these stories. If you haven't already, I would highly recommend that you read all of the Texas Knights, Kings, Connor, and Rojo, Texas series. They're all absolutely hilarious and amazing stories, and it will give you a better understanding of the characters, connections, and the dynamics between all of them.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.

Wow! Top shelf story!

Loki, Derek and Melinda are amazing. I will admit I was apprehensive that I would not like this book as much as the others because of the bisexual aspect. But, because it was written by the amazing Cee, and I already love all the Tempest brothers and sisters, I trusted Cee and dove into the book anyway. And -- It is awesome! And I must say that Derek is one of the hottest men ever written, I'm amazed that my kindle didn't melt! Please don't be dissuaded by the subject matter, even if it is not your normal cup of tea, you can't help but fall in love with this story, and these characters.

Blew Me Away!

I enjoy a good MMF romance and also love Cee so when I realized I got both of those things together I was ecstatic. Loki, Derek, and Melinda’s love for each other blew me away.

I was a little hesitant in the beginning because Loki had a prior relationship with Derek and Melinda had a current one, so I was terrified someone was going to be the third wheel in the beginning, but immediately my fears were washed away as soon as Loki and Melinda went on their first date without Derek. They seemed to all 3 fit together perfectly and their love is beautiful, even if it looks different than others.

Normally not my cup of tea…… but awesome! Must read!!!

The story line is not one I usually read, but I love Cee Bowerman and hated that I might miss something. I’m glad I read the book for so many reasons. The story of the Tempest family is horrific and awe inspiring. The love this family has for each other and the things they have had to overcome gives all the feels!!! Of course my beloved Texas Kings were in there as well. Just because the story may not be for you, do NOT miss out on everything else the book offers. There is so much more to these characters and I didn’t want to miss anything.

OMG Loki

So for a good six months I avoided Cee Bowerman books, I couldn’t even tell you why. One day I picked up Kale’s book, and I have been hooked ever since. I can’t get enough of the Kings and Knights. I also can not get enough of the Connors or Tempests. Cee is an amazing writer.

Take the warning to heart, if m/m, m/m/f is not your thing, this book is not for you. If you love love in all of its crazy forms, this is another home run for Cee. The love the Tempests have after the hell they survived is amazing to immerse yourself in. Please give this book a chance and every book from Rojo a chance. I really can not get enough!

Derek, Loki and Melinda

Loved this story. Like Cee said at the beginning, this MMF type of story isn't everyone's cup of tea, but she did a fabulous job with all of the interactions between the three of them. To me I think Derek loved them both the hardest, because he never gave up on Loki coming back into his life, nor did he give up on Melinda with her issues either. It was also really great seeing some of the other characters from Texas and I think with Melinda meeting Maria helped her understand how great her relationship could be with her men. Happy reading.

Awesome

I love the Tempests. They have been through so much and their stories are wonderful. Cee Bowerman has a fantastic way of telling a story that throws the reader right into the middle, and the reader is unable to put the story down, while leavibg us wanting even more.
Loki, Derek and Melinda are a great thrupple each of them having to work through their issues to make it work. Can't wait for more !

Unique twist to mmf

H wasn't ready to admit to being in love with H to family so ran. Ten years later, the 2nd H and his girl move back home and H sees the H Jeff never stopped loving, and life and love spiraled for all 3 from there. Love the person the h was modeled after, another author. Love the relationship one of the H's had with his family and extended family. 5 star review.

Loki's new loves

Loki's life takes a great turn when the love of his life, Derek returns to town. Derek is accompanied by Melissa. Once they all meet things become intense. The men are nervous about Melissa accepting the both of them, while she's worried that Loki's presence will cause her to not be important in Derek's life any longer.

I loved how the three of them came into their own!

I truly enjoyed this read 📚!

Loki, Derek & Melinda

Who needs sleep!? Epic love story! It’s not a traditional love, but it is true and beautiful. I couldn’t love Loki, Derek and Melinda more if I tried. And having the opportunity to visit all our friends in Rojo? As well as spending time with the Tempests? As always, Cee Bowerman has written another amazing story filled with love and laughter - and no judgment. A must read! Highly recommend!

Loved Loki

I loved this book - Derek, Loki & Melinda were so terrific and the story line so interesting, I couldn’t put the book. I finished it in one sitting of a couple of hours. Cee mentioned in her intro that the story wasn’t for everyone, but she did such an excellent job with Maria, John & Mattie’s story, I knew this would be just as good. I wasn’t wrong. Highly recommend it.

Loved it!!

Honestly after reading the blurb I was thinking of passing on this one . MMF is not really my thing, but the story is really just about love. Lost and new ❤
I'll admit I may have skipped over some of the more detailed sex scenes but it didn't affect how much I loved the story between Loki,Derek and Melinda.
I'm really happy I gave this a read and highly recommend it.

Smokingly sweet read

Absolutely loved Derek, Loki and Melinda's story.

I think the charicters chemistry is sizzling, and the way they interact with one another as they come together is sweet.

I was curious where Cee was going with Loki's story, especially with Derek and Loki having history, I thought there would be more angst or jealousy between Melinda, and Loki. But what Cee wrote was perfect, and I'm glad Loki got his happily ever after.

I loved Loki's story! Giving us the backstory from 10 years previous really helped set the tone for this book. I loved Derek and Melinda and thought all 3 main characters really completed one another. I feel the author did a great job balancing all the aspects of this special relationship.

I'm loving this series and how it's low on drama and angst and more about these fabulous characters finding their HEA.

(I definitely need to check out her other series!)

I struggled with this book. Could not get into it. Had it been just Derek and Loki it would have been good but Melinda just didn’t do it for me. I’m not a fan of thruples anyway. I find them too hard to read trying to remember who is growing what. But there have been one or two books that it was done well. This one felt too forced as a relationship.

Also why is it the same guy on the cover of all the Tempest series? Loki had blonde hair. Makes no sense and he’s not attractive!

I absolutely loved this story..
We saw more of the Tempests history and are told some from Loki's POV.
This was my first M/M/F and I really enjoyed it!
This story has all the feels - laughter, crying, shock and want.
Absolutely brilliant addition to the series and I can't wait to see what comes next.
100% MUST READ.

I went into this a little leary since ménage has been hit or miss for me. This is my first m/m/f and I really enjoyed the different dynamic, it was interesting to see Loki be submissive to Derek but dominant to Melinda.

Amazing dynamic between them, super steamy, family and lots of love make this another winner.

The nod to Ciara St James was a nice touch.

Holy Cow! What A Great Twist!!

Well that was an unexpected twist, but I absolutely loved it! Thank you, Cee, for proving again why you are one of my go-to authors on release day. Loki finds his happily ever after with a twist after years of feeling like he couldn't be himself due to his father's beliefs that were beaten into him.

Normally mmf is not in my comfort zone!. However I never turn down a Cee Bowerman read so I decided to give it a shot. By 30% in I had already cried for the emotional pain Loki had gone through and laughed out loud at all the shenanigans . AND HOLY HOT FLAMES! TURN UP THE AIR CONDITIONER CUZ ITS HOT!

Amazing addition to the Temptest series!

I adored this book and enjoy an author that throws a few drive balls during a series. I truly enjoying MMF and MFM books so it was a great addition to an already awesome series. The way Cee weaves in the other series she has written was a nice surprise as well.

LOVED IT!

I was just telling one of my family members that whenever I see a new release from my favorite author I react as if I'm getting ready to get a fix! In my youth I spent years getting that reaction from the wrong type of fix, but now it's been a lot more years, but I get the right kind of fix and Ms Cee does it for me every time!😍

Bean pot 🫘🍯

I want to live inside Cee’s head where all these characters live! There isn’t a book of hers that I haven’t lived or a character that hasn’t worked it’s way inside my heart!
This story was beautifully written. My only complaint is I wish we could’ve seen when she said I love you the first time! Other than that this book was perfect!
