Foolhardy Folk Tales My first book of 2025 and is what has inspired me to begin reading again. In all honesty, Its exactly what I needed to get me going again. its a nice light and easy read full of character, comedy and life.

Listening to Beans' retellings of his life out on the road was genuinely very heart warming, and you can feel his personality ooze from the pages, every person or place described gives you the reader the feeling that you are there alongside the crew watching it all play out.

I will not spoil what any of the stories in this book as I believe you should experience the book yourself as part of the joy is hearing the stories for the first time . However I believe the best chapter is "The Blag". I will say no more as, but I think its peak Beans on Toast

Very fun and entertaining. The first story nearly fooled me!! I also liked the story of making and selling art by writing lyrics on small canvases.
