Pull of the Vale
After a short return to visit her mother in her rural hometown of Black Oak Grove, Lily Brennanfalk quickly feels the Pull, an insistent demand that she return to the Vale. She had planned on going back anyway, since the Vale would not allow Rannoch—or any other Fae from the Vale—to leave its boundary. Lily knew she wanted a future with Rannoch, and to be together, that meant saying goodbye to her human life. What she didn’t know was that the Vale wouldn’t have let her stay in Black Oak Grove regardless of what she chose, and that Silvanis, Opius’s henchman, would be hunting her the moment she stepped back through the passage. Hell-bent on completing the bargain that Opius had struck with Dashelle, Silvanis pursues her with unmatched fury.

What an amazing follow up to Vale Born! This is book 2 in the Vale Born Series by the wonderfully talented Lorin Petrazilka. There is a novella called Plight of the Syrennie, and to get full amazing experience of this story unfolding, I recommend reading that after Book 1 Vale Born, and right before Pull of the Vale.
At the end of Vale Born, Lily and her brother had to go back and let their mum know they are ok, but on getting home, they find the farm completely in ruins following a fire.
Thankfully they find their mum was at a neighbouring farm, but she describes who started the fire and wouldn’t you know, it was the evil Vale Born Dashelle who we thought had perished. Knowing she is still alive, Lily must return and warn Rannoch and her new friends. Not only that, Lily and her brothers physical appearance coming home, didn’t revert back to their once human forms. Forever changed, it’s impossible for them to live in the human realm.
That and there is an intense feeling or ‘Pull’ to return to their new home.
Can Lily find her friends in time to warn them? Will Rannoch have missed her as much as she missed him? Oh you need to read to find out, and trust me you will not be disappointed.
I mentioned the novella at the start. That is very much a set up for where this story will go, so please get over to Kindle Unlimited and check that out now. New characters are introduced, and something magical happens in that book that can’t be missed.
The world building is truly spectacular, and with each instalment, it just gets better and better.
If you love epic high fantasy romance as much as I do then this can’t be missed.
The relationship development is beautiful. You really feel the love flow from the page, putting a smile on your face. The action and suspense has you on your toes, seriously, there is never a dull moment.
Lorin Petrazilka has an amazing talent for story telling, creating worlds and characters that you will fall in love with.

I was privileged to have the chance to proofread this gem of a book. I was torn between recklessly plunging head first on the plot, and scouring every bit for spelling, grammar, content, and continuity. I have yet to read the final draft, but do intend to do so soon-Who wouldn't want to see what an author does with your thoughts and ideas?!? I will add an actual written review once I read the finalized copy :)

Building beautifully from Vale Born, what surprised me most pleasantly about Pull of the Vale was the patience taken with and amount of time I got to enjoy with the characters. And the moments of simple beauty. I also appreciated the amount of reflection I got to do with Lily and her thoughts and the constant flow of reactions: for every action, a consequence. If you enjoyed Vale Born, I bet you'll enjoy Pull of the Vale just a bit more :)

Bravo!!!! I need a third book in this series ASAP! It’s so easy to relate to Lily and the new characters she befriends. The strength Lily has developed is tenfold in this novel, and add in her truly butterfly enduring romance with Rannoch, and the adventures they face, I couldn’t put this down. I have a hard time fully immersing myself in novels, and this made it easy.

Not Finished
Is there another story, what about the Vale of Dashelle is she still not out there gunning for Lily and Felix? What about the Unifae there is probably more evel on them to tell . What about getting a message to her mother in the human side, the author just left to many open questions.

This book was a Rollercoaster of emotions. Not gonna lie, I did cry at the end. The romance is beautiful and the spicy scenes are tame compared to other books I have read. I do love the plot of the story and enjoyed this book the most so far.
