If you are German/American, work with others who have German ancestors, or are from a small town known for its German settlers, this is the book for you.

Anderson exams every aspect of life (professions, work ethic, language, religion, hobbies, etc) as seen through the efficient eyes of someone with German ancestry.

If you like to make fun of your heritage, this is the book for you!

What a fun book! I suppose you really need to be German to fully appreciate this type of humor, however, this book will keep you laughing from start to finish. And, if you aren't German, I guarantee you will wish you were.

3.5 for the deutsch aware, more like 2 for the non-aware. It's light hearted good pictures, easily skinnable. I laughed out loud a couple times. It was worth it for that.
