Let the record reflect that Chase Grant is MY MAN! Out of all of Natasha Madison’s hero’s, hands down, Chase is my absolute FAVORITE! There’s just something about a man bun and a beard that calls to me and gives me all the tingles. This Thor look alike is the ultimate smokeshow. I’ve been obsessed with him since Ms. Madison introduced him in Only One Forever. Chase’s sexiness is unparalleled and everything about him is tantalizing and oh so swoon worthy. The book cover alone is a thirst trap and I’m thirsty AF! As if he couldn’t get better, he’s a doctor who donates his time to Doctors Without Borders. Can you please exam me Dr. Grant?!! With that said, make no mistake about it, the storyline is so much more than Chase’s good looks. Natasha Madison created a fantastic spinoff to the Only One series and Made For Me (Made For #1) is an excellent way to kick it off.

Julia’s sister Jillian, is married to Chase’s cousin Michael from Only One Mistake. Chase and Julia have been digging each other from the moment they met and dancing around their attraction for a minute. I’m beyond thrilled that they agreed to take their hook ups to another level and they are equally infatuated with each other. Julia truly is a wonderful and caring person who goes above and beyond as a social worker. And when Julia needs Chase the most during a difficult time in her career, he immediately steps in and offers his support. He’s completely devoted to her as she is to him and I just love everything about them.

Again this is an excellent way to start of the Made For series and I’m highly looking forward to reading the future books in this series.

Oh boy do you ladies have something amazing coming your way. Made for me by the amazing Natasha Madison is filled with so much of heart and soul.

This book is about Jillians sister and Chase, Max's son. Juju as I have named her is such an amazing strong character. She is loyal, loving, and oh so caring.
When devastation hits her world Chase is there to hold the shattered pieces of her heart. Chase has this way about him that he knows what she she needs and when. He is absolutely loving and supportive.

Not forgetting the entire family especially MAX. He loves Juju and will doing anything for her. And that alone is so beautiful to watch.

Grab this book ladies when it's put you won't be sorry.

Natasha Madison is always a guarantee of a well written, emotional and steamy romance.

Made For Me tells Chase and Julia's journey, they know each other so well they consider each other family, so it will be difficult for them to accept their feelings change.

I adored these characters. Chase and Julia are perfect together, they laugh, they comfort and they help each other when needed. It was a pleasure to see their relationship grow and change from friends to lovers in an organic way.

I'm so glad to find these big hockey families again in this new series.
Please, if you haven't read anything written by this author, this is definitely a good point to start.

A new series but still with the tlc of Max and Matthew. I loved it! This book is about Chase, Matthew’s son and Julia, Jillian’s sister who is married to Michael, Max’s son. All characters of previous books and previous series. Confused? You don’t have to be. This book can easily be read as a standalone and the book opens with a family tree. It’s so fun to read characters reappearing in this book and still be the same characters with all their own character traits. Chase and Julia have known each other since her sister Jillian became a member of the Horton/Grant family. They are attracted to each other, but don’t take the next step because it would be disastrous if things went wrong, because of their family members. Chase is a good guy, didn’t choose a hockey career like his other male family members, but became a doctor instead. Julia is a social worker and this is a huge part of this storyline. It was an emotional read and I liked that this bonded both MC’s. Chase showed a good side of himself and because of this Julia softened. It was a good romance to read. I must say, for me a bit too much sex. It overshadowed the main issue of the book at a certain point and I wasn’t 100% convinced about this turnaround and the way the FMC acted. But I believe the majority of the readers won’t find this a burden at all, lol. This book is a great start of this new series. We got snippets of book 2 (and I hope book 3 🙏🏻) and those sounds even as good! A solid 4 star read.

“I’ve never in my life felt this feeling … I’ve never in my life wanted anything more than for her to be mine.”

5 stars!

A gorgeous friends-to-lovers romance that is emotional, playful, sweet, sexy, and full of chemistry, this is a fantastic read that had me glued to my kindle, and I loved it!

This book is a standalone, and is actually the start of a new series. However, it has very close ties to Madison’s interconnected hockey series (Something So, This Is, Only One - more directly from Only One), and there’s a lot of character crossover. You can read this on its own, just be aware that if you haven’t read the earlier books, you won’t know all of the side characters and how they all inter-relate (and they all do, because this is a close-knit bunch!).

Chase Grant is the son of Matthew and Karrie (from Something So Perfect - his siblings also have books in the Only One series). He is a doctor, previously with Doctors Without Borders, but now works as the doctor on the Dallas hockey team (keeping it all in the family), as well as picking up a few shifts in the ER. Julia is the Social Worker twin sister of Jillian, who is married to Chase's cousin, Michael (Michael and Jillian's story is Only One Mistake), and she has been accepted into huge family group by her sister’s new in-laws, sharing a particularly special bond with Michael’s father, Max, who has pretty much adopted her as one of his own. Chase and Julia have been friends for years, and while they both acknowledge that there is an underlying attraction between them, knowing how intertwined their lives are, they figured it was best to stay friends and not risk ruining their friendship with a romance that may now work out.

Now, their worlds crash together when Julia’s job as a Social Worker brings her in to Chase’s Emergency Department in the midst of a tragedy. He is there for her at her lowest, and it brings about a shift in their relationship when super protective Chase becomes Julia’s rock. He is a fiercely protective alpha (just like the rest of the men in his family), there for Julia in all the ways, and she trusts him in return, allowing herself to be truly open with him, letting him see her and support her at her most vulnerable. And with the two of them becoming closer than ever before, things begin to change.

We’ve been friends for forever. We’ve been each other’s wingman when we would go on vacation. We’ve been playing this cat-and-mouse game from day one. We’ve never crossed over that line, but the line is becoming very blurred on my side. Not only is it blurred, it is starting to erase and it feels like I am seeing everything for the first time.

I love, love, love this relationship! They are close, but not too close, so there is still an element of ‘getting to know you’, but on a deeper level. The story moves at a great pace, but somehow this still feels like a slow burn, and I was bursting with anticipation watching these two completely accept their growing feelings for each other, and follow their hearts.

There is no story, the words replay in my head, making me wonder when it fucking changed. There is a story, my head screams, we just don’t know it yet.

They have such a beautiful connection, and there are some truly beautiful moments between them that had me swooning madly. We get to watch them fall in love bit by bit, and when things finally happen between them, it’s natural, functional, honest and sizzlingly passionate. They are SO hot together, and all that they are feeling for each other makes it all the more intense.

This thing between us is forever. She’s my forever.
I haven’t kissed her yet, and yet I know.

There’s a dramatic storyline that brings the feels and makes the whole thing more emotional. Watching Julia deal with it all is heartwrenching, but Chase is devoted, supporting her through everything, and it becomes the catalyst that brings them together and provides plenty of opportunities for Chase to go all protective alpha, and I loved it!

Scenes with the family bring wonderful lightness to the drama of the story, and once again those interactions are absolute gold! Matthew and Max are in peak form as always, and with all of the siblings, cousins and partners rallying around Chase and Julia as they find their way together, there’s so many opportunities for those fabulous dynamics to come into play.

“Julia.” My father looks at her. “Honey, we take care of our women.”
“And when they don’t listen, we kidnap them,” Max says to my father.
“I didn’t kidnap her.” He smirks. I tied her to the bed with handcuffs.” Michael and Dylan roll their lips, trying not to laugh. “She loved every minute of that.”
“Yup,” Wilson says, “time for me to go.” He shakes his head. “I never want to hear that my in-laws use handcuffs.”
“You think that is hard?” Cooper says, getting up. “Those are my parents.” He looks at our dad. “Never repeat that to anyone at any time. Ever.”

I loved being back with this group so much, but Chase and Julia truly shine in their story, and I loved watching them finally come together.

This is such a gorgeous read. I love these characters, I felt everything right along with them, and their love story absolutely owned my heart.

5 stars!

quick sports doctor, friends to lovers romance that’ll have you feeling every emotion

julia and chase have orbited around each other as friends for years because chase is part of a huge hockey family and julia’s sister is married to one of the players. julia gets a tragic call about one of her social work clients and heads to the hospital only to find chase working in the er and he doesn’t hesitate to help her pick up the pieces.

there was tons of external drama in this one with the social work case but chase was such a sweet and steady hero throughout the entire thing. i wish we had gotten a glimpse into their past because their past connections are mentioned more than they’re written but overall, sweet story with lots of spice.

And we're off to a great start with this new series. I knew Julia and Chase would be a great addition to this family but I was blown away with how much I could connect with Julia. She is easily one of my favorite characters in Natasha Madison's world. She was smart, funny and feisty. It was heartbreaking watching her go through all when all she wanted was to help.

And Chase comes off as a goofy guy in previous books, but steps up big time when she needs someone to lean on. The transition from friend to lover seemed so effortless and right I have no words to describe how them together made me happy.

And now that I know who our MC is in the next book are, I'm ready to burst with excitement. Is it February yet?!

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Made for Me, the first book in Natasha Madison's brand new standalone series Made For, delivered a sexy and emotional friends-to-lovers romance. The story hidden between the pages of this book will keep you entertained with its sexy and lighthearted banter, while the emotional plot will tug on your heartstrings.

Made for Me is the first book in a new series and a spin-off of Madison's Only One series. Now while one can read it has a stand-alone, the experience will be more fulfilling if one reads the books featured in the Only One series. There exists an inter- connecting link between the characters in both series and they all share a special bond.

Made for Me gives us Chase and Julia’s story. Grant is the product of hockey royalty. However, instead of following in his father and siblings’ footsteps, he became a doctor. Prior to returning home, he worked with Doctors Without Borders. Now he is home, he is the doctor for the Dallas hockey team. He also works in the ER.

Julia, whom we met in Only One Mistake, is a Social Worker and the twin sister of Jillian, wife of Chase’s cousin Michael. Since becoming a part of the Grant family via her sister’s marriage, she and Chase developed a bond of friendship. However, ignored the growing attraction between them for fear it may ruin their friendship. Especially given the family connection they shared.

However, when tragedy struck, turning Julia’s world upside down both personally and professionally, Chase stood by her through it all. While offering her the rock solid support needed during the difficult time, the dynamics of their relationship changed. It’s at this point we see his protective nature shining through. I just loved how he offered her comfort in the face of her difficult situation. Also, the way she trusted him to be there for her and allowing herself to be truly vulnerable with him. This added a layer of authenticity to their relationship.

The romance which developed leaned on the side of a slow burn. Despite the closeness they shared as friends, their journey intimacy and acknowledgement of feelings developed gradually. I, for one, was eager for them to acknowledge their feelings and take their relationship to the next level. Their shared moments were filled with heat, humor, raw honesty and heart tugging scenes.

I had a blast with Chase's family with the humour they brought to the story. They crack me up every time they make an appearance into any of these books.

An incident relating to the tragedy which turned Julia's world on its head paved the way for another story, which will be featured in this series. Looking forward to see how it will play out.

Made for Me was an absolute delight and perfect for fans of the author, The Only One series and contemporary romance. This review was originally posted on Totally Addicted to Reading

It is no secret that I am a huge fan of the Something So, This Is, and Only One series so when this spin off series was announced I quickly pre-ordered every book that I could. I was so excited to read Chase Grant’s book because while he is part of a hockey dynasty he doesn’t play professionally. However, went into medicine like his aunt. I adored his character when he would make appearances in previous books. He is the laid back fun loving guy, so I was anxious to see where his career in medicine took him and to watch him fall in love.
We are also no stranger to his heroine Julia. She has been feisty since the day Natasha introduced us to her. Julia is a social worker in Dallas and from page one it was clear that she has great passion for what she does, but given her line of work there needs to be some boundaries with people in her personal life.
When her professional life collides with her personal life, Chase is there to help Julia sort through it. How Chase so gently just takes care of Julia in a way that no other person has done for her was amazing. They share some very emotionally intimate moments that Natasha does not shy away from. This book has so much emotion. My heart was breaking for Julia, and it was clear that Chase was ready to wade through the hard stuff next to her as a team. Julia also trusts Chase and leans on him like she has not done before. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Chase in his role as a doctor and Julia’s role as a social worker and how those professions may overlap, but also can take a toll on them emotionally. Chase is able to balance that by being the team doctor, but also working part time at the hospital.
While the Grant and Horton family play a huge role in this book, it isn’t forced. It is clear that this family always puts family first 100% of the time. Mathew and Max give us some serious laugh out loud moments, but most of all reminders of why we all fell in love with them and their family to begin with.
This is an amazing start to the series that I cannot wait for more of!

✨ I was so excited to be getting a book about Chase and Julia and this did not disappoint. The writing and plot was completely different to what I expected but that just made it 10x better, I can’t get enough of these books.

✨ Julia was such a strong character and didn’t deserve all the suffering she was going through but it was so sweet to see Chase constantly be there and support her. I loved how natural their transition from friends to lovers felt and although they went through so much it was nice to see them get their happy ending.

✨ I’m excited for Vivienne’s book next but sad that’s the last one of Matthews kids😂

Loved this! I have loved Julia ever since we met her back in Jillian's story, Only One Mistake. She fit in with this group so well. And of course I've loved Chase because I love all the MMC's that Natasha Madison writes.

This book brought all the feels back for me. I love how the entire family steps up to help someone they love. Max is like a father to her and he shows it at every turn.

I just love this world that Natasha Madison has created. Can't wait to read Vivienne's story!

Julia and Chase have been friends for years, they have a connection and there is a spark there but neither of them act on that connection…until one event shifts everything for them.

Going into this book I was not expecting it to be so emotional, but man it was. This one broke me. Their story was much more than I could have expected. It is so easy to fall for the two of them and root for them from start to finish.

The strength Julia has when it comes to her job. Then after everything spirals in her life. She may have broken down, but she still managed to stay strong throughout it all. Chase….it was hard not to love him. He was the biggest rock of support when it came to Julia. Even if it put him in uncomfortable situations he wasn’t willing to give up and just leave her alone. Their connection is so strong. Their chemistry is off the charts. I absolutely loved seeing these two shift from friends to something more.

It is always great to see old favorites pop up and they play a major part in this book, too. I can’t wait for more of this series.

If you’re looking for a friends to lovers, sports romance this is one to check out.

Natasha always has that something special with her romances, and her hockey books feel like coming home. This is where she truly shines, and I just loved this book so much! Friends to lovers has been my catnip for a while now, and the way these two fell was absolutely beautiful. And I loved how everyone could tell there was something more between them except for them -- until it was very literally happening. And how sweet was Chase? Sweet baby Jesus. "That last first kiss" line is going to live rent free in my head. I just had the biggest smile was reading this, and I cannot wait for more in this series! Just know you won't be able to put this down once you start, and all the tears will come between the beautiful romance, their friendship, family and Julia's job, man, I was just in an emotional overload. I definitely recommend this book!

4.25⭐

Made For Me returns readers to the world of professional hockey. For a story that is equal parts, sexy, sweet and full of heart.

As Chase Grant a kind, sexy man bun wearing doctor. Who has spent time working with Doctors Without Borders falls for Social Worker and friend Julia. Who has been around Chase and the Grant/Horton family for years and who's twin sister Jillian is married to Chase's cousin Michael.

But Chase and Julia have never crossed the friendship line. That is until now. When Julia's work implodes in an emotional situation. That sees her arrested for doing her job. Yet, Chase is there to support Julia every step of the way and the pair soon realise they are made for each other.

And with an engaging and at times emotional storyline and lots of great characters. This was a very enjoyable read. That I would happily recommend to others, especially fans of the Something So, This Is, and Only One series.

My thanks to Wildfire Marketing for the opportunity to read an early copy of Made For Me. 😊

I devoured this book in about 4 hours! I mean holy moly is it an emotional read! I seriously couldn’t put it done! Do I have a family? Yes. Did I ignore them? Yes. Are they still living? Yes. So no worries!

Chase and Julia seriously have great chemistry! Julia seriously just spoke to me. She is a character I think we all would be able to have some sort of connection with her.

Chase. What can I say about him?! I mean he is so much more than I expected! His character shows his compassionate side. And that will have you fall even more for him!

I have not been reading a lot lately. Serious book funk. Let me tell you this is the pick me up I needed! I can NOT wait for more!

Oh and I love we get the Stones and Grants cameos!!!

Back home after traveling with Doctors Without Borders, Chase Grant is ready to admit his feelings for Julia, his cousin's sister-in-law. Is she prepared to open her heart to Chase?

I've been looking forward to the start of this new series, and I am just happy to have more of the Grant/Stone/Horton family. So, it's no surprise that I devoured Made for Me in one sitting. Simply put, I loved this book; Chase and Julia didn't disappoint!

Amid her darkest days, these friends can no longer fight their feelings and finally admit they want and need much more from each other. Chase's protective and caring nature is swoony-worthy. Cautious Julia finally has someone that she can let down her guard with. Their transition from friends to lovers is seamless, and I just enjoyed watching their relationship grow.

One of my favorite aspects of this book is the relationship between Julia and Max. They have a special father/daughter type bond that is a joy to see. Of course, all the love, jokes, and good-intentioned meddling that comes with being a part of the Grant/Stone/Horton family are there too.

Made for Me is everything I love about Natasha Madison's books and an excellent start to this series. I can't wait for Made for You in February!

Five stars! What an emotional rollercoaster Madison takes us on. My poor heart. You need tissues and a fan for this amazing book! A friends to lovers that will absolutely break your heart while making you fall in love with these characters. Chase is my newest favorite book boyfriend.

When things start to change for these two friends a love like no other blooms. Watching these two give into their feelings is heartwarming after so much heartbreak. Julia is a fighter. She has the biggest heart. Things go array but Chase is there to pick her up.

Everything I love about romance. All wrapped up into a phenomenal read by Natasha Madison.

Highly recommended.

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trope: friends to lovers
Angst: 😱😱😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Made for Me is the first book in Natasha Madison's Made For series and continues to follow her hockey family dynasty through further generations. Great friends to lovers storyline that had me emotionally invested right from the start. Super angsty due to the characters circumstances rather than their relationship development which is typically a preferred plus to me. The story is a slow burn filled with years worth long looks and almost kisses, that goes total five alarm at approx 75%, lol. Definitely worth it as a hardcore fan, but probably not my fave since I was a bit more emotionally drained than I prefer when it was done 🤷🏻‍♀️. Still love her and I can't wait to see who is up next in the series!

This is book 1 in Natasha's new series - a spin off of her other hockey series. But as someone who had not previously read those, I still thoroughly enjoyed this entire story!

This book is going to make you FEEL. You will cry, want to scream, want to throw your kindle. But through it all you also just want to give sweet Julia a hug and well, we all just want to crawl into the book and steal Chase as our own- because Lord have mercy, that man is everything!!

Chase and Julia have known each other for years, as her twin is married into Chase's family. They have always been friends, but always were certain it could never be more. Beucase if that line is crossed once - there was no going back.

But when a crisis brings them together unexpectedly, Chase quickly realizes that all he wants is to be there and protect Julia, and she starts to realize that he is one of the few people she can truly let her guard down around. The way Chase cares for and pursues Julia - truly panty melting hahahaha!

4.5 stars, 3 chili peppers.
Natasha snuck some goodies into one chapter that you aren't expecting until you get there - and let me tell you - she delivers.

So excited to be diving into another swoony Natasha Madison world- and back into hockey. I’ve always really adored her friends to lovers tropes- she just so effortless captures the longing and connection, the delicate falling that happens when two friends start to become more, when they finally realize what’s between them (and in this case what everyone else could already see!). Her books always give me sweet butterflies, are quick and not super angsty reads, and deliver on all the swoony smiles. With the perfect marriage of emotional substance and tender feelings, this is a feel good page turner- what a delight!

I loved this one! I loved going back to this world and the huge family. There's no way I'm not going to enjoy anything by the author and this new interconnected series. I really enjoyed Chase and Julia's story because they already have this established foundation, first as friends and it's really natural for them to be together romantically. Like come on, I have been hoping for their story ever since they appeared in Jillian and Michael's story. Now I read it, it's so freaking good. I loved seeing a more vulnerable side to Julia. She's always been the fun sister and aunty, so this is a different side to her. And I loved that it was Chase who stayed by her side through it all.

I can't wait for the next book. I'm so excited for Xavier's story.

This book is a mess - read on KU - contains spoilers

I knew this was a spin-orf, but I thought I had read the other series first. The long, long family tree in the front of the book clued me in that it is a spin-off from several series. I stayed confused about who most of the characters were the whole time. There were two men's names that started with M and I was constantly getting them backward. I lost track as to who was the dad and who was the uncle. I'm guessing the MCs have been falling for each other over multiple books because it doesn't happen here. There are several discussions that begin with "remember when..."

The bigger mess was the plot. Julia works for Child Protective Services, which is obviously a government job. A bad thing happens, and she gets sued and then arrested. I understand suspension of disbelief, but this is so far out there that it is beyond a reasonable amount of that. She haphazardly goes into the office. That job isn't that fluid. IF she had been sued, it would have been as a government worker, not necessarily personally, and her office would have been the one hiring an attorney. The entity would have been sued, her boss, and her but as a unit. There is no way a DA would decide to press charges against a CPS worker because someone sued them, which seemed to be the case here. No investigation was done. Those are just some of the issues with the entire plot.

Another thing that was stupid was once she was sued for $10 million, the family starts talking about where they'll come up with the money. Not a single person ever says, "there is no way a court will give them that much money." And a judge would see right through the case. It would have been thrown out.

Most of the story felt like watching a ping pong match between 2 to 8 different people. The MCs pretty much just decide they're it for each other without much happening between them in this book.

The book also needed better editing. I wish she would slow down her releases and put more effort into them. She is clearly a quantity over quality author.

What??

I had to DNF this book about 45% through. I couldn’t look past the complete lack of research of how unions and the legal system work.
If a social worker is sued for something that happens with a client, then that person has union support and they can’t just be fired. I literally can’t suspend reality that much. I get doing it for dramatic purposes but a 10 million dollar lawsuit for pain and suffering is laughable and the fact that her whole family is sobbing about it? Get outta here. These people are supposed to be ultra wealthy and famous. In reality, they would get on the phone with their team of lawyers and get the case dropped- that’s if unions didn’t exist which they do.
SMDH.

I love starting a new series. This is a new series starting with some friends we have already met. Chase (Max’s son) and Julia (Jillian’s sister) have been friends for a while, but as things begin to change, they grow even closer, the story becomes hard to put down. You will run through all the emotions, at times just wanting to embrace Julia for all her troubles. It is great to see this caring and protective side of Chase. I am looking forward to more.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
