In modern-day Paris, 20-year old Christine Daaé is an aspiring opera singer whose dreams were shattered by a traumatic incident during an audition one year ago. She has all but given up on returning to the stage, until a mysterious voice on the roof of the Paris Opera House offers her the chance to get her life back. But in order to achieve her dreams, she'll have to ask herself if she's willing to believe in this ghost… and if she can trust him. A modern retelling of "The Phantom of the Opera" by Gaston Leroux.
Wow. Probably the best poto fic and the best webtoon/comic I've ever read. The pace was such that it didn't feel too rushed, or too slow, I never got bored while reading it. The little details were really thought of and it showed, and the idea to put the story in a modern setting was beautiful. I truly have no words, I would recommend to any phan of Phantom of the Opera, especially to fans of the original novel, to read that. I don't know why I hadn't read it for so long. Really wish I'd read it sooner. I cannot wait for season 2, especially after the end scene.
This is a super sweet comic that is a retelling of the famous Phantom of the Opera. I am liking where it is going and am excited to see how the cute and thrilling story progresses!
I love this retelling of phantom so much! All of the characters are likable and easy to connect with. As a girl who has confidence issues with performance I related to Christine's fears a lot. The feeling of not being good enough is hard. Typically in phantom adaptations Erik is sympathetic but EXTREMELY toxic. This graphic novel does an excellent job of making him flawed of course but also a decent human being. I also love the idea of the "ghost busters" friend group. I'll stop yapping now.

I hated the book, but this? Game changer. Easily one of the best things I've ever read. And omg, I was fangirling soooo hard. But I know how I'd felt for Erik and now he's so incredible, but I'm afraid it won't last long...
