To Be Loved was a painstakingly and beautifully written story. My heart just ached for Remedy and all that she went through. Other than her small circle of friends, Remedy keeps everyone at a distance and doesn’t interact with most people unless she absolutely has to. She often comes off as cold and unfeeling but, she’s learned the hard way that trusting the wrong person can lead to hurt, betrayal, and unbelievable pain and she doesn’t plan to make that mistake again. For the past 20 years Remedy has been coasting through life, working damn near 24 hours a day running her tech company, and not forming a single relationship of any kind with anyone. That is until Lathan Calloway comes along. Lathan is the bodyguard Remedy didn’t ask for but, Verse sent him over anyway. She’s run off several bodyguards in the past but, two years later, she can’t seem to get rid of this one. After spending ten years in prison, Lathan is trying to put his life back together and rebuild his relationship with his teenage daughter so, he’s not tryin’ to let Rem’s snarky attitude ruin his fulltime gig. Almost from the beginning of this book, I wanted Remedy to be free from the pain that has been suffocating her since childhood and for her to find true peace. Growing up with a father who abandoned her emotionally and put everyone else’s needs ahead of hers, Remedy just wants to be seen and know that she matters. Little did she know, Lathan had been seeing from the moment he became her protector. “You’re special. And a blessing. You are not invisible. Your pain isn’t unworthy of mention. I see you, honey and all that you encompass.” Whew! Not he out here spittin’ these soul soothing words of encouragement! Lathan was everything Remedy didn’t know she needed. He was patient, protective, and kindhearted. At times, he even had to protect her from herself. He showed Remedy trust was possible and asking for help didn’t make her weak. Oh, and the daily explorative “tutorials” Lathan signed her up for?!!! I just need to know where I can add my name to the list?!!! Put me in coach! Big Tim will forever have a permanent spot on my shyt list. As a parent, that man failed Remedy in so many ways it’s unfathomable. He bet not eva let me catch him roaming the streets in the literary afterlife. It’s on site every single time. To Be Loved was a phenomenal read. The writing, the character development, and subject matter were outstanding. I truly enjoyed watching this character’s transformation, growth, and healing while reclaiming her power and getting the HEA she so deserved.

How’s the heart? Uhhh Lathan tugging at mine. Lathan was charming and encouraging he fought hard for the people he loved. Remedy had a lot to deal with so much trauma that lead her to be a recluse, and Lathan was the perfect match for her. I love that their relationship took a while to develop, Remedy had a lot to unpack. But once she did, she was completely enamored with him, and his teenage daughter. I really adore how she shared her suffering and repaired the trust that was broken while trying to mend her rift with her mother. BUT FUCK TIM fr hope hes sick to his stomach in his grave just useless. Everytime he was mention I was angry for Rem.

This was such emotional experience that really touched my soul. Remedy went through so much, carrying deep trauma from not being protected by the people who should’ve been there for her. She kept everyone at a distance, and it was heartbreaking to see how unseen she felt until Lathan came along. He and his family gave her the kind of love, safety, and support that helped her start healing. Their connection was powerful, and it felt real every step of the way. I went through a full range of emotions reading this. It’s beautiful, heavy, and worth every page.

Rem x Lathan

She did it again, K. Lashaun created a story that pulled me in from the first word, until the very last one. She created characters that pulled at your heartstrings. Characters that were broken yet so strong. Characters you couldn't help but fall in love with. Characters that were deemed heroes in my eyes. Remedy was a survivor. She was alive, but she wasn't living. It's like while she was still functioning, she was frozen in a block of ice. But Lathan.
While Lathan himself was still dealing with his own mistakes from his past, he was able to see Rem. Really see her like she had always desperately needed. He was able to thaw her out.
Quote from the story.
"I did nothing in half measures, so when Lathan cracked open the safe around my heart and snuck in, the immediate feelings I experienced were too big, too soon, and overwhelming."(K.L. Ch. 23 pg. 181)

When you read this story, you’ll understand how big of a deal this part is. Watching Rem transform, watching her walls being put down in this book was the most beautiful thing.
"God, we were perfect together. Two halves of a whole that once floated through life aimlessly before flourishing once we came together." (K.L. Ch. 36 pg. 328)

I'm not a cryer when it comes to books, but for some reason, this part pulled at my heart.
This was an excellent read. The author created these characters and did something absolutely beautiful with them. You can't help but fall in love with each one of them.

I'm pretty sure I'm just gonna love this series, because the previous installment, In This Moment, was also an excellent read and was in my 2021 top 5 read. (If you haven’t done so, definitely read it.)
And now, this one is currently on my top 2022 read. This is my third story by this author, and just like before, she did not disappoint.
CANNOT wait for Hakeem's story!!

Distant. Cold. Guarded. These were all words used to describe Remedy but my goodness, this Woman was so much more than that. Trauma from her childhood had her suffering internally FOR YEARS and no one truly saw her..except Lathan Calloway.

I don’t see enough people with him on their book bae list - the man was everything! His patience with Remedy, the way he protected her, never left her side even when she asked him to - a literal dream and I loved that for her. She deserved that type of love and I adored reading it.

Besides the beautiful connection between Remedy & Lathan, I loved seeing his teenage daughter woven perfectly into their story. Not only her, but her mother, Gabbi. The way Lathan AND Remedy stepped in to help this mother be able to provide a better life for her children? So touching.

These two left my heart so full and my only regret is not reading it sooner.

Loved and Seen

“She’s a baddie. She’s dope. She’s rich.” Her gaze turned sly and I tensed in preparation of the wild shi# about to leave her lips. “She can elevate you, Daddy. Lord knows you need it.”
When Tessa, Lathan's daughter said this to him about her affinity to Remedy I cackled. The truth was this entire book was about Lath and Rem elevating each other in so many ways. It was such a heart wrenching story. The illusive Rem had shut herself completely off from meaningful relationships. She was often short, blunt, and lacked tact in the way she handled people. It was all a ploy to keep everyone at a distance. The trauma she experienced as a child didn't allow her to ever feel safe to truly open up. Her real personality was buried under the armor she created to protect herself. All those years no one took the time to ask why she shut down or even tried to get her any help. It was hella sad. Until Lathan started to realize there was more to her than what she let people see on the surface.

Lathan, what a beautifully layered man. He had overcome a poor decision that changed his life and his family's and was doing his best to make up for it. He secured a job that gave him stability to consistently provide. He understood that he needed to heal and prioritized his own well being by attending therapy. He did his best to learn to properly communicate with his daughter. When things begin to shift for him and Rem this man showed next level patience. He handled her with care forcing her to slow down and exposing her to love and family. He didn't pressure her, instead he showed her unwavering support, listened to her, and most importantly allowed her to feel safe and seen.
Both of them had been stagnant for years. Together they inspired each other to do better. Rem was now able to be herself...to express feelings, to be nice, to relax and have fun. Lath was able to dream bigger and pursue making his hobby a business.

Tessa was such a good supporting character. Her affection and admiration for Rem aided in her ability to open up. Rem and Lath bonded with the need to love and protect Tessa. All three together were a sweet family and I loved that for them.

I will say I wanted just a little more of them. I wanted to know how Tessa's birthday went. Did VP finally get married? Also grammar could have been a little tighter. Overall an excellent read!

“Your pain isn’t unworthy of mention”

When I read book one last year, this couple is who I asked for in my review & I am for Keem—and look what the author created!! 😍

This is such a great book, it’s taking my words. away. I loved Rem & Lathan’s dynamic in book 1 because I felt like there was more to her—in this book I got to see that not only is there more to her but there’s more to him. Lathan is my new book bae because he is amazing, patient, wise, protective, and funny. I love the shift between them, when they starting seeing more and waiting more for each other. I enjoyed how two people with difficult pasta were able to help each other heal, find purpose, and fall in love. Lathan as a father and supporter to his family, including Gabbi and her kids—Ms. Author, you really out did yourself. What I loved most is people finally seeing Rem, seeing that she is a survivor and she’s worthy of love and Grace.

One of my favorite quotes:
“You’re special. And a blessing. You are not invisible. Your pain isn’t unworthy of mention. I see you, honey and all that you encompass.”

I love... In this moment was my favorite until this one.

Remedy started off seeming like the most meanest person ever until you understood her reasoning. I loved how lathan could get her to do things that no one else could. He always knew when something wasn't right and he was just in tune with Remedy.

I loved Remedy and Tessa relationship. They got along so well. Tessa grandma could get these hands. Lathan and Remedy deserved to be happy because of all that they went through.

Can't wait to read the next in the series

If you know me, you know I’m not a fan of “slow burn” romance books. So this review should attest to the talent of K. Lashaun. Nothing couldn’t prepare me for the array of emotions I felt reading this book. Remedy keeps people at a distance because she doesn’t want the disappointment that comes with trusting. On the outside she appears to have it all together, but in reality she just wants to matter, be seen and heard. She gets all that and more from her bodyguard Lathan. I love Lathan. He made a bad choice that landed him in prison but he rehabilitated himself by building a new life and being a father to his daughter. Remedy had me rooting for her freedom and peace of mind all though this book. Growing up fighting battles alone, Lathan helped her realize that it’s okay to trust and ask for help. He was patient and took the time to figure her out. The writing, character development and storyline is outstanding. We get to see Remedy navigate through feelings of abandonment, rejection and negative thoughts. We also see her take her power back and morph into the women she was meant to be with the help of Lathan and his daughter Tessa. She stole the show in my book. I loved how K. Lashaun addressed the importance of protecting and being active in our kids lives. Also how as parents, we shouldn’t allow the older siblings to shoulder our burdens. We also saw positive co-parenting representation and hilarious family dynamics. This book wasn’t void of a tough subject matter, K. Lashaun was able to effectively navigate the emotional struggles of a Sexual Assault survivor without it being on page. All things considered, I have to admit that I wanted more scenes of a happy and whole Remedy in a relationship. I also thought the conversation with her mother should’ve happened sooner. I sometimes forgot she was even in the book. Plus, I wanted to know what caused her mother to just up and leave without even trying to fight. Overall, K . Lashaun knocked the theme of forgiveness and healing form past trauma out of the park and I cannot wait to read more from her. I hope to see more from Remy and Lathan in the future

“You’re the blessing I never saw coming.”

When I tell you I LOVED this book….I LOVED IT!!! The was K. Lashaun tells a story is so captivating and sucks you in! She has a fan for life in me!

I would loosely consider this an enemies to lovers story. We were introduced to Remedy and Lathan during “In the Moment” when she was presented to us as the closed off daughter of Verse’s mentor “Big Tim”. After a few stalker scares, Lathan was assigned with the difficult task of protecting Remedy. I say difficult because Remedy was closed off and wanted the least amount of human contact as possible. She had run off quite a few bodyguards in the past with her bxtchy ways but Lathan wasn’t the least bit phased. Despite running a multi million dollar tech company she was empty inside begging to be seen by those who claimed to protect her. Two years into working as her protector, Lathan wanted Remedy to know that he did see her….always had and always would.

Lathan showed up and showed out!! Do you hear me!!! If the male characters ain’t coming like him, I don’t want to read it. He was a true alpha yet so kind hearted and loving! I attribute that to his mother. That woman was amazing and I love what she contributed to the story!!! Despite Lathan’s own trauma and struggles that he dealt with while trying to rebuild his relationship with his 16 year old daughter Tessa after being in prison for 10 years, he still managed to show up for those he loved, fully invested in their well being.

Through all the unpacking of trauma and revealing of secrets Lathan held Remedy DOWN. The way this man loved on and protected her was a joy to read about! My heart couldn’t take his amazingness!! I loved Remedy’s transformation! Watching her heal and take back her power with Lathan by her side every step of the way was refreshing!

This was a story that will stick with me and live rent free in my mind!

I can’t wait for Hakeem’s story!

What happens when someone takes the time to really see you? When we first met Remy, she seemed a bit distant, but I could sense there was so much more behind her tough exterior. It broke my heart to realize that she had been building a shield for over 20 years due to childhood trauma, all while no one seemed to notice. Lathan, a gentle giant who truly understands her, was determined to love her through everything. I really admired Lathan as a father; he was doing everything he could to support his daughter. I appreciated how he spoke about her and sought guidance to be the best father he could be for Tessa. I loved the way he cared for her. I also enjoyed the wonderful relationship between Rem and Tessa, as well as Rem’s connection with Tessa’s mom, Gabbi.

K. Lashaun has definitely won me over as a forever supporter!

This was a really good story….Latham is the type of man that will immediately pull you in with his charming and supportive ways. Remedy had a lot to deal with and Latham was the right fit for her..the development of the relationship was slow, but she had a lot to unpack. But, once she fell for him, she fell hard…not to mention falling for his teenage daughter…I also love that she was working to repair the relationship with her mother and letting her friends in on her pain. It was awesome to see that Latham introduced Remedy to therapy. I love that they also sought counseling together. Definitely would make for a healthy relationship.

See Me

I felt so much for Remedy in this book. Lathan was definitely what she needed to begin her healing journey, Tessa too. Such a great story.

I hate that Remedy resorted to being so cold and to herself due to her past trauma. She went her whole adult life holding on to such pain that it consumed her. Even in her pain, she became a beast at her job, so I loved that aspect. Yet, she had all these millions, a big beautiful home and no one to share it with. I understand that she wanted to protect him too, in some weird way, yet she should've told her dad what was happening to her. Even without her abuse, how does a man care for and be so there for his city, yet not his own child🤨. I'm sure others saw this yet still revered the man. He's no legend to me 😒.

I get that she didn't feel comfortable with telling her dad, yet she had this "connection" with Verse, so why not tell him? I totally understand her romantic feelings for Verse and was glad that she realized it was bc of his care for her, not bc she actually loved him and could see them together romantically. I was relieved that her feelings for Verse weren't the reason she was pushing Garryn away. I think these two are going to be the best of friends as these stories move forward bc they are more alike than not.

Even with the way she treated him, I loved that Lathan wanted to get past Remedy's outer shell. He was determined to reach her heart and with patience he did. I was rooting for him and his situation with his daughter, Tessa. She was a spitfire and I'm glad her wilding out was just from her needing to be seen and not some form of physical abuse. Her grandma was so cold. How do you fight a 16 yo? I'm glad her mom, Gabbi, finally got the help she needed to be secure and have all her kids in a safe environment.

Lathan was definitely taking it easy on Rem when they started "exploring" each other. Once Rem challenged his anger, she was in for a very wild intimate ride and I'm not mad about it😜. I liked these two together and hope they continue to heal and progress individually and as a couple.

Ok, so that extra tidbit with Hakeem and Remedy's abuser Christian was too much of a tease. I need his story ASAP! Can't wait to read more about this big mystery of a man.

This was a great story and I hope we get even more from this whole crew. The progression of the characters is so great to read and K. Lashaun does a phenomenal job with her writing.

Great read. Highly recommend it.

To be Loved is the story or Remedy and Lathan. Remedy has had her trust broken by those mean to protect her so her life has become keeping people at a distance. But even under that hurt, she wishes someone would just see her. Her bodyguard, Lathan, has been on autopilot, trying to rebuild his life after a 10 year stint in prison. He wants to do better by his teenage daughter, Tessa. Both are barely living until they get the opportunity to see each other.

I’ll start by saying this…I know a book is really good when I have to literally walk away from it. The emotion written in this book was so raw and real that it hit me in the chest and I needed to step away because tears were coming to my eyes. That happened several times while I was reading this book. There was so much pain and beauty in these pages. So much hurt and love.

Remedy…”I’m fine.”
I have so many thoughts about her. My heart wrenched for her. I felt sympathy for her pain and I wanted her to win. For me, that’s what added to the depth to the romance and the relationship building. She deserved to win and every time she got a win, every time someone reached out and saw her, my heart literally soared for her.

Lathan…”How’s your heart?”
Wow, what a man. He was everything she needed and I loved that. I loved how gentle and patient he was with her. To SEE her the way he did just really warmed my heart and his relationship with his daughter was the icing on the cake. The way he talked Remedy through everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, and constantly checked in on her, was top tier.

And my girl, Tessa! I really liked her in the story. Aside from her honestly being a cool kid, I think she represented redemption for Remedy and Lathan. To me, she was the one that needed to be seen as well. Where Remedy had felt like no one could see her at a young age and that carried well into her adulthood, Tessa was the “this ends here” moment where both Remedy and Lathan got a chance to see her and allow her to speak.

This book is the definition of what intimacy is, what it looks like, feels like, sounds like, how it’s built. It is what forgiveness looks like, when you do it for YOUR healing so that you can move on. It is what love looks like, what family looks like.

I know y’all wanna know about the s*x scenes; just know they are there and they are WORTH it. For me, the emotional state of the characters enhance the s*x and because of what it took to get there, each and every time she knocked it out the park. It’s a slow burn, but the fire is HOT!! 🥵

Go check it out, download it on KU, buy a hard copy, and sit down and enjoy it ❤️❤️❤️

Still a beautiful story of love and the importance of seeing the people you love. Love isn’t enough when someone is suffering and K. Lashaun did her big one with this book.

I still love all the characters so much and Remedy is my fav FMC in the K. Lashaun universe.

IN LOVE WITH K.LASHAUN’S WRITING

To Be Loved (The Things Unseen #2) by K. Lashaun is about analytics CEO Remedy Sinclair and bodyguard Lathan Calloway. First off let me say, K. Lashaun has done it again! This story is painstakingly beautiful, I struggled to put it down. Remedy comes off as cold and unfeeling, but that’s just the walls she built for self-preservation. Lathan has been a bodyguard for Remedy for a couple years and he’s believed what everyone else has but he comes to see her in a different light when a health scare happens. Once Lathan learns of Remedy’s health issue, he takes on an even bigger role as her protector, even if it means protecting her from herself. Lathan is a sweetheart, he’s this big physically intimidating man but he’s so caring (a teddy bear). He made a huge mistake when he was younger and payed for it dearly by missing 10 years of his daughter Tessa’s life, but he’s been trying to mend that relationship. Lathan actually does the work, he has an excellent relationship with the mother of his child and he’s in therapy. Remedy’s personal growth is amazing, I felt as if I was going through every emotion/experience with her. I appreciated the way Lathan explores with Remedy sexually, it’s both sweet and sexy. Lathan truly is the perfect man for Remedy. I love Remedy’s relationship with Tessa, the bond they develop is real and authentic. Remedy starts to live life fully as a matter of fact so does Lathan. They are perfect for each other, they grow together! This story has so many layers, so much to unearth, I’ll definitely be rereading. This was an incredible read and I can’t wait to see what else K. Lashaun has in store!

P.s. We see Verse again, not a lot but trust me his presence is felt! You won’t be disappointed 😌

CW ~ mentions child sexual abuse, mentions child abandonment, mentions sexual assault, mentions death of a parent

I am liking this series a lot. I especially liked this story. I initially thought Remedy was going to be too similar Garryn from Book 1 (i.e., seemingly mean, Mommy issues, green eyes, etc.), but K. Lashaun showed the differences pretty early on. She did a great job writing Remedy's character so that her pain from not being really seen by those who should have loved her was finally healed, albeit slowly, once she was able to face her truth. Her love with Lathan was beautiful. His character was great! patient, kind, vulnerable, but firm. I would love an update on them, especially with him, Rem, Tessa and Lathan's mother.

Extra emotional

I was not ready for this story. I should have been prepared for the emotional rollercoaster embedded in this tale. Remy, oh my goodness, Remy endured so much pain to be still standing. She needed the extra strength Latham bathed Remy and covered her with daily. At first, I thought he saw some things others missed. Even Verse missed her pain.In the end, Remy received the care she deserved.

Remedy & Lathan 🥰🥹 these two are my top two and NOT #2!

Lathan was so patient and kind with Remedy, he was careful with her and I loved that! Remedy had been suffering in silence for the last 20 years and no one realized it. The closest people to her didn’t even notice her suffering. But, big Lathan came through in the best way. I swooned reading this story 🥰 Tess, Lathan’s daughter, was a nice addition — also, the way Rem came through for Gabbi and her kids, my gosh!!

4.5/5⭐️ 4.5/5🥵
- This book was so extremely good but for completely different reasons than In This Moment. This book had some hard ass pills to swallow. Very real and raw and I enjoyed it.

- Remedy Sinclair is a workaholic and she has every reason to be but Remedy was wearing me out😫😫. I loved how resilient, hardworking, and classy she was. She went through life being a quarter of herself and she still carried herself so well. I understand she did what she had to do but I was begging her to tone down the the attitude on Lathan. Lathan is a father and he is such a great man. He genuinely surprised me I have nothing bad to report.

- From the outside it looks like Remedy had the perfect life, her Dad was so loved it was just assumed it extended to his daughter. It did not.... Rem went through shit nobody deserves and it turned her cold. To be frank she was acting like a bitch but it was her coping mechanism. Lathan was the only person and I mean the only person to see through the facade and I was hooked! This review is hard for me to write because I was really going through it with this book. I was annoyed with Remedy but on the other hand I felt for her. I absolutely loved how they bettered each other. Lathan literally changed Remedy's life and Rem returned that energy tenfold.

- Definitely recommend!

Beautifully written!

Remedy was an endearing character, one I couldn’t help but root for. She, Tessa, and Lathan deserved the very best.

Now what I’m impatiently waiting on 😂 is Hakeem’s story. I bet it’s going to be good. The thing is, who could possibly be his person… someone we’ve been introduced to or someone new. Can’t wait to read and find out.

love heals

Remedy & Lathan
Remedy has lived in fear and trauma for more than 20 years. Remy & VP grew up together, care for each other and love each other but even he doesn’t know the weight she carries. He is insists she needs a bodyguard. She has run off the last 3 but Lathan is not intimidated buy her or her ways.

He watches her, sees her, protects her.

This story is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. This story has many moving parts and is well written and the characters are well developed. There are a lot of side characters but it works because Remy is creating her own family, a life and happiness once she learns to deal with her past.
VP & Remy have a bond but Lathan gives her something she’s never had but always craved.
This is a great story with a lot of nasty sex, the good kind.
I recommend this book

I felt Remedy's pain, but not her healing. This book was so fast paced for something as serious as rape and sexual assault, neglection, death and heartbreak. If it was the male character story where the female would be the one to heal him, the story would be slow paced. He won't open easily like our girl Remedy. Her bitch phase... I didn't even get to enjoy it. She thawed easily, but whatever......

It's a good book I guess. Not impressed, but the author tried.

Remy & Lathan

Am I crying? Yes….
Remedy irritated me in “In This Moment.” I had many moments of saying, “Ugh, this girl…” out loud and even in the first 100 pages of this book she got some side eyes from me but I knew there was so much more under her tough exterior. And Lathan was the perfect person to break those walls down. And Tessa was the perfect person to soften Remy’s heart even more. My heart is full for them. 💕

It was a good story. I enjoyed book 1 more but this was good. I’m glad therapy was utilized. I saw some of myself in Remedy. I’m closed off most times and act like a bitch, even around family, so I related to Remedy. I wanted to know what happened to the men that violated Remedy! It could have been a little bonus chapter at the end. A few grammar mistakes here and there but nothing major.

-The following are all the thoughts I had while reading this book so it may contains some spoilers:

Coming off as a bxtch is definitely a default setting for me too! But i’m on my way to changing that.

You know I just don’t like the name Lathan. Unless he has a twin named Nathan!

Tattoo on the face! You’re getting the boot immediately! Idc.

“People can’t hurt you if you don’t let them in.” Something I’m working towards fixing. I see some of myself in Remedy! Like please don’t touch me without my permission. I don’t think it’s because of the same reason though. I just don’t like people touching me.

A family to take care of?? He got kids? I know he’s not talking about his parents?? Like i’m all for helping but once you get grown the roles don’t reverse! Unless he has really old parents who need taking care of.

Ok he has a daughter. Contessa. Hmmm I don’t like that name either.

“She was still as beautiful as she’d been fifteen years ago..” Wouldn’t it be 16 years ago? Or 17? Her other bd isn’t on child support? Sheesh. 4 kids and he’s not taking care of them?? And yall was married? Wtf. Where are his parents?? Sheesh. She doesn’t have any friends? No cousins?

You just said you didn’t even know Remedy’s mom was alive. Which means you don’t know shxt about her or their situation. Sometimes parents are toxic. You also heard their convo about them not seeing each other in over a decade.

P52 “ I’ve been in the middle of fixing lunch when a similar shot through my chest, sending me to my knees.” I feel like a word is missing from this sentence.

Not her dad saying “Verse” as he’s dying! Let me not think the worst!

While I appreciate the consent. The permission. Kudos to Lathan for that. But the unprotected sex!! 🙄🙄🙄

Not Lathan’s mom talking about how she won the best dessert contest at her church 9 years in a row to talking about that cheating no baking bxtch Bernice! 🤣🤣

Lathan’s mom claim her siblings can cook but then Lester says it’d be a mass funeral if he cooked.

I wonder if Remedy’s dad found out what happened to her and that’s what got him killed.

3 weeks paternity leave?? I mean I don’t think men need as much time as women but he can’t even get a full month after the birth of his first child?? Sheesh! I googled my state. And we offer up to 12 weeks of leave.

P231 typo “her” instead of “him.”

“Ain’t that some bullshxt?” It sure is! Should have slapped tf out of him.
