With the Mad Dogs put down, now it’s time to go for my longest running rival—the De León Cartel.
The Mad Dogs are six feet under, but the monster itself isn’t dead, just wounded. One down, two to go and they only get tougher. Diego De León and I have never been friends—always looking for ways to take each other out. Now I have my excuse to blow his shit up.
Our recent battles left us a little battered, but that just gives me time to refine the perfect plan. Something this big? We’ve only got one shot, and every one of us needs to play a part.
Time to call in all the favors and see who’s still on my side in this battle for the criminal world. Nothing is off limits. This time the guys are ready and willing to back my crazy ideas, because together is the only way we have a chance to win.
New York, just a heads up, Tricks is coming to play.
I'm determined to finish this series but honestly it's just dragging at this point and it's making me lose interest. The big plot point of Tricks and her men fighting the big bad has been pushed to the back so much. Especially now that there's so many guys in the harem all needing to get their own little scenes with Dax. I'll for sure be finishing the series but it's just made me want to skim at this point.
4.6 stars. Yep. I’m really glad I picked this series up. *sigh* I love reading about psychos… They’re just so much fun. And the smut? Filthy, dirty, perfection..
This is the fourth book of the Hidden Empire Series. Dax has found her harem and now they have to pick up the fight.
I liked the plot, it moved on in a good pace and I enjoyed the development. I didn't like the many many smutty scenes. It's okay to have some, but here it was to much for me. There is only one book left in the series and I skipped Harpers book. I'm eager to finish this series now.
Dax is back in More Tricks, for more action packed craziness. The Mad Dogs have been defeated and it’s time to take down the De Leon Cartel.
Dax can handle her sh!t, she’s a bad a$$ and her men back her 100%. I love seeing their relationships progress and getting a glimpse of Dax’s softer side.
I absolutely love the Hidden Empire world and the story gets better and better with every book. I’m so looking forward to Our Tricks and where the author will take us next.
Another cliff hanger for the win. Loved this. I'm honestly surprised people are complaining about there being too much smut... I was kinda hoping for more 😭 Homegirl fucking 7 men and yall gonna complaining? Shiiit she need to gimmie one. You know what they say... sharing is caring. A few cringe moments, but nothing too serious, and the overall plot and characters make up for it. I'm eating this series up
Dax is back, More Tricks is the fifth book in the Hidden Empire series and it was glorious. Dax got match crazy for crazy in this one and her megamind really got put to use in this one because only a genius could pull off what she did. This was truly a fantastic read.
Things may have been rough for a minute but Dax is back on top. She's handling business, getting along with the club members of the Phantom Saints MC, and is finally opening up her feelings about her guys, all seven of them. Dax still isn't the emotional type but it's obvious that she has opened her heart to the guys and doesn't regret it.
Things have gotten very spicier with the guys. They have told Dax how they feel about her and showed it by caring and supporting her while following her lead when handling things. Dax pretty much owns the guys and they know it, every single one of them is totally devoted to her. Somehow they manage to not only wrangle Dax but actually become a family, all seven of them because they actually worked their crap out, even Cam.
Seriously, I think it might be the best book in the series so far. With Dax things are never boring. Now that the Mad Dogs have been taken off the table it's time to go after Diego and the De Lèon Cartel. So much goes on, betrayal, moles, kidnappings, underground cage fights, family connections, new allies, old friends, and some personal celebrations. Even Harper and the triplets have joined up in the fight. Dax's family is steadily growing giving her so much more reason to fight and she's more determined than ever to not only take Diego but to finally go on the offensive with his puppet master, Marco.
More Tricks was everything. It was filled with action, familiar faces, crazy schemes, messy mafia politics, and stuff got blown up. It's like watching a mafia movie but with a badass female as the ultimate boss. I love Dax and the gang and while I hate that there is only one more book left in the series I'm excited to see how the story concludes. Up next is the final book in the Hidden Empire series, Our Tricks.
Another great installment of the Hidden Empire Series. I loved the action, the crazy and all the spiciness between Dax and her men. I cannot wait for more to come.
More Tricks is the 5th book In the Hidden Empire Book series and is the 4th book where we follow Dax and her men. More Tricks picks up right were we left off at the end of Four Tricks. Dax and her men have defeated the Mad Dogs MC, which were one leg of Marco’s power. Dax and her men are recovering and regrouping to begin their take down of the De Leon Cartel, which is the other leg to Marco’s power.
**Spoilers Below**
In the first half of this book Dax gets a small reprieve from the war going on and has some much-deserved bonding with her men. I love the relationship building that we get see and the more vulnerable side to Dax. For the first time Dax is letting down her walls and letting her men into here heart. We see Dax hesitate a little with her desire to go straight after the De Leon cartel. She wants to do this right and make sure everyone comes home safely. I like this more mature side to Dax. She is still a bad a** and a mastermind but she has something to lose now and takes more care in what steps she takes.
The second part of the book is much more action packed as plans start to move forward. Dax and her men have mastermind the ultimate plan of taking the De Leon cartel away from Marco Tesoro. Once he loses his power there Dax will be in the perfect position to take him down for good. I feel like we got to see a glimpse into the plan that Dax has put into place but we won’t know the full extent of it until the next book and I am very excited to see everything fall into place with the final book (Our Tricks – Book 6).

Holy cannoli Batman! How does Elizabeth Knight do it?!
The book picks up right where the last one ends, after the big fight with Mad Dogs. What a way they won that battle, but as they all know the war is yet to happen! More Tricks is filled with so many emotions, heartache, betrayal, friendships new and old and of course love. You see new and old friends, over the top, perfectly Dax schemes, maybe a rocket launcher and some politics thrown in.
Dax's relationship with the Phantom Saints leaders Eagle, Cognac, Sprocket, Picasso and Void, Wes and Cam is one of the most beautiful, psychotic love stories I've ever read and one I keep going back to read!
With everything Dax has had thrown at her she's picked herself up and kicked a$$ twice as deadly, she hasn't given in to anyone or anything. She has her down moments but with her guys by her side she learns no matter what life throws at them they will conquer anything. We all know Dax doesn't do emotions but she has opened her heart to new and old loves in the form of seven sexy men.
Throughout this book, you find out who has her back and who's out for blood, I am beyond excited and a lot sad for the final installment of this amazing series 'Our Tricks'. Elizabeth Knight has lead us on this edge of your seat, nail biting, cursing at your book, slamming it closed and then opening it again so you can find out what happens next...

I love this series, DAX is such a badass FMC and she doesn’t disappoint in this the 5 book of the series. It kicks off with the aftermath of the utter annihilation of the Mad Dogs MC. We see DAX, her men, the Hidden Empire crew and the Phantom Saints MC recovering and doing business all while planning to take out the De Leon cartel.
Love all the steam - honestly hot AF. We also see DAX and her men really strengthen their relationship and really become a family. Just love their dynamic and the way her men really understand how DAX works and are able to ‘manage’ her to an extent, all in the name of keeping her safe.
So much happens in this book, I was completely obsessed and hooked from the very start - couldn’t put it down until the very end. The storyline is extremely well thought out with suspense, twists and so much action. We have new friends, old acquaintances, cage fighting,
I’m trying my hardest not to let anything slip, as I don’t want to ruin it for anyone. Put it this way, I’ve already read it twice it’s just that good.
Can’t wait for the next and final book of the series, from this book you can just tell it’s going to be completely off the charts amazing.
This was an enjoyable book in the Hidden Empire series. Overall, the author has done a great job tying each book into the next. The plots, actions, and heated scenes were worth the wait to read. The new surprises were nicely written in.
I know books are not perfect even after edits, but this far into the series, it was a bit annoying as I tried to make sense of some sentences in paragraphs I read. For example there was the wrong word used such as "what" instead of "want". I had to read it over twice, fully, then go back and plug in the right word for the sentence to make sense. Another thing I found was the character name used, " Spencer". I don't know if the author meant to type in Sprocket but ended up typing in Spencer more than once, but, yeah...that made me scratch my head trying to figure out who Spencer was, doing searches to see if that's one of the guys real names, then finding out it wasn't and I was not losing my mind, coming back to the conclusion the wrong character name was typed in. Dang that was a long run on sentence, lol.
Anyhow, the book really was enjoyable and I'm still geared to continue the next book in the series when it comes out.
Already on book number five and Dax's story is still on fire! Dax is one character that I'll never get tired of. I love her confidence and her ability to prove her worth to people, especially when they underestimate her and judge her by her looks. In this particular book we got both the strong and the sensitive side of Dax, seeing both the mastermind side to her as well as having her show her vulnerabilities with the guys. For the longest time she wouldn't let anyone in and this book shows how much character growth she has gone through by actually letting down her walls with her men and giving them a little glimpse of the woman she was before Two Tricks came into being. You also see how much she has learned from her past decisions in not keeping everyone in the loop and going off on her own. She is allowing herself to rely on others and even taking the back seat to some things, fully confident in her guys and their decisions.
This book has been a huge rollercoaster, much like the entire series. Full of action, plenty of steam, and even the more emotional bits as well. Be ready for so many surprises and unexpected twists that you didn't see coming. Dax is out in the open now and nothing is going to stop her.
While reading "More Tricks," it occurred to me just how far Dax's relationships have come. She essentially went from the Lone Ranger with Wes as her trusty sidekick, to allowing seven men into her life and heart, opening up to them and realizing she doesn't have to do things alone anymore. She's still learning to put that into practice, however, since her general tactic is to run in, guns blazing. She's also still not comfortable talking about "mushy stuff" like emotions and feelings. (I feel that, girl.) She's definitely improving, though! Just don't confuse that with getting soft - she's still the same Dax we've come to know and love!
One thing gets revealed in this book that has been hinted at slowly in the last book or two. The fact someone knows this secret who shouldn't is heart stopping. It makes Dax spiral into one of the darkest places she's ever been, and I feel for her. Thankfully, her men surround her to comfort her her. They don't press her to open up about it, but they offer their silent support in any way they can, and it's beautiful.
That aside, some big moves play out by the end, and it all comes down to one thing: War is coming, and Marco needs to watch his back.
In book 3, Dax really grew into her role as the queen of the Hidden Empire, but in this book she grew as a partner for and with all of her men. She learned a lesson about being open about her plans. Their success in the opening phase of their mission to take down their east coast enemies really highlights the great team the eight of them have become over the course of this series.
This was super spicy - the spiciest of the series so far. Everyone is getting really comfortable in the relationship so it has opened up to play that hadnt been on the table previously. I was espcially pleased that everyone has started to except that Cam isnt going anywhere and allowed him some space in their lives.
This was a really great book, I had a very hard time putting it down once I had time to pick it up. I had chills reading the closing scene and am on pins and needles for the conclusion. I am so happy it isnt a long wait and will likely shirk all responsibilities the moment I have book 5 in my greedy hands.
Dax is one busy lady in this installment of her story! She's constantly got to stay ahead of her enemies and be the biggest bad there is. The mental game here is as important, if not more important, then the physical one. I really enjoyed meeting the new characters that were introduced and reading how Dax interacted with them. I've got a lot of hope staked on them so I hope they pull through in the next book. The guys, as usual, are wonderful and supportive. The relationship between Dax and them only continues to get deeper and spicier as time goes on. Honestly, reading about what Dax has been through and certain scenes that correlate with that, I really think that Cam might be taking the lead as favorite right now. I never would have guessed it. I loved having Harper pop into this book too and revisiting with her and her men as well. I can't wait to see what Elizabeth has in store for us in the final installment!
This whole series is a ride, and even though each book is a continuation, it’s like each book is its own story. This book was about taking down Diego the leader of the De Leon cartel on the east coast. They found out who his first biological son was and made a plan with him for him to take over the cartel. They were able to save Elena and turns out Axel was using her and he was the one who killed Jeff. Cam was officially accepted into the family. Dax was made co leader of ghetto phantom saints. Wes and Cam became members and they all proposed together. Harper and the triplets are back from Russia and helped in this fight. During the fight where Dax and Void were supposed to fight Axel and Diego were killed, Dax named Tammaso the new leader of the De Leon cartel with her support. She threw down the glove and has her sights set on Marco. The last person who has been after her for some time.

This is the fifth kick a$$ book in the Hidden Empire Series and I absolutely loved it! This series just gets better and better with each new book!
I seriously want to be Dax! With her take no prisoners, bad a$$ attitude and killer fighting skills, not to mention her devious and strategic mind, and oh, lest I forget her drool worthy and dangerous group of seven men!!!! I am certainly jealous and envious of her!
I loved the excitement, action, intrigue, and direction that the storyline took. I loved the relationship developments between Dax and her men, and getting to see the softer side of Dax peeking out at times. I honestly cannot get enough of these characters and their incredible story. I am going to be broken when it all ends!
I definitely recommend this book and series, and am super excited to see what kind of mayhem Dax will wreak in the next book!
And that’s book 5! Oh my gosh Hidden Empire series is taking me on such a ride. This series keeps blowing my mind with each book, can’t wait for the next one already.
Dax is one of my top FMCs, she’s such a bad@ss, and who wouldn’t love to have those amazing fighting skills?! Being able to defend yourself is an amazing skill to have, add in her killer brain? She’s the whole package deal, and she’s got 7 delicious men to go through her life with.
This book isn’t without action, steam & an amazing storyline. I love that even though this is book 5 in the series we still get to see the relationships develop. I also like seeing her softer side come out, she can be a bad@SS other times lol.
I’m anxiously waiting for the next book to come out 🤩🤩. If you’ve been looking for a new series to try out, give Hidden Empire a try!
After defeating the Mad Dogs, Dax and her men have a small reprieve before going after her biggest and longest standing threat: the De Leon Cartel. Can they take down their biggest threat, or will their family be taken out instead?
Dax and her men have an incredible relationship building, and she has finally (after FIVE BOOKS) decided to let them in. She's not one to be vulnerable, so this has been a consistent struggle throughout the series. She's a complete bada*s and that has never faltered with her.
The series is picking back up, as it did start to lag over the last two books, but we are starting to get more action. Granted, that action takes place in the last half of the book, but it is still there. I do wish there was more action and excitement, but overall I'm happy with the story's progression.
This was the series that got me into reading Elizabeth Knight in the beginning. I really fell in love with Dax and her men on a deep level.
This is the first book where we see Cam finding his place among the group and I was definitely here for the ride. I really enjoyed seeing the group form up into more of a family and each find their ways to Dax.
Loved Eagle and all his I'm the boss energy, definitely felt like Wes could use more screen time(but I'm biased). Cam was definitely a treat in the spicy scenes, Picasso surprised me and made me see him in a different way.
But overall, even if I didn't mention all the men this one was probably my favorite. I devoured it and it kept me on the edge of my seat.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I thought that more tricks would be the ending of the series, so I was ecstatically excited that it’s not done just yet!
Just when you thought things would settle down with Dax and her hunky Harem, the sneaky de Leon cartel aren’t going to let it all go easy! Alongside the little bits for many side characters, The plot twist/s in this book are unexpected and a brilliant addition to an already great story.
This one has been my favourite so far, to see their dynamic adapt and move forward feels me with the warm fuzzies, and I know their HEA is going to come after a phenomenal bang!
Book 5 was a non stop page turner of a story filled with super hot smut, little tidbits that make you really feel seen and more to come from the pink haired “little queen” that makes sneaky plans and saving the day her main missions in life currently 😆 5stars all the way!!

This book was EVERYTHING!!! Loved how it picked right up from where the last book left off. Man y'all are not prepared for this, it is that GOOD!!! Everyone knows that Two Tricks takes care of her own and you never mess with her family. I love how she never takes any crap from anyone and this book gives you a lot of answers and you are shown just what happens when you mess with Dax and her people. It is a roller coaster of emotions and the steamy scenes are off the chart hot! I absolutely cannot wait for the final book to see how things go down. It is intense and takes you on one hell of a ride and you never want to get off. Highly recommend this entire series. I promise that you will not be disappointed one bit.
More Tricks picks up where we were left and it’s a nonstop ride with Dax and her guys! Dax is tearing her way through her enemies and beginning to open herself up even more to the guys. We get to see some friends and how they’re doing along with meeting a whole new crew which is a brilliant twisty path. The storyline moved at the perfect pace, still seeing so much positive character growth, the relationships are getting deeper, and the spice level was off the scale! All around 5+⭐️ read! The Hidden Empire world never disappoints and I can’t wait to see how Our Tricks picks up where we’ve just been left!
More Tricks is book #5 in the Hidden Empire series. Its a dark reverse harem.
Dax is my spirit animal!!! I wanna be her when I grow up!!!
We pick up where we left off after the fight with the Mad Dogs. Dax and her guys are dealing with so much, making crazy plans, and Dax won't stop until she takes down Marco.
Dax and her relationship with her guys is AMAZING!!! They all love and care for each other so much and my heart is so happy with what happened in this book!
So much action happens in this book!!!! You guys aren't ready!! And that ending has me so excited for Our Tricks!!! Its gonna be WILD!!!
We're back at reading the story of Dax and what a book this was! It is everything I could of wished for and more. Dax handles everything so well here and is even opening up to the guys. All seven of them! It's a large harem and I love it. The steam is on point and I also enjoyed the fact the guys are truly sweet and supportive towards Dax and know that she is the boss. I also enjoyed the fact that in this book it clearly shows that relationships need to grow and don't suddenly happend but show the effort which go into creating a relationship and understanding. Chapeau! Highly recommend this series!
Loving the story of Two Tricks and the Hidden Empire and this latest book is as action packed and fast paced as it’s predecessors. We continue the tale where we left it with the annihilation of the Mad Dogs and find Dax and the guys planning on taking on the cartel to plan for getting even with Diego and Marco. So good to catch up with Harper and the triplets and see everyone working together. I like where we’re going with this story and am invested in finding out how Dax achieves the next stage of her plan, her, Magnus, Cam and Weston working together are a formidable force. Fantastic read, adore this series.
More Tricks is an explosive addition to the hidden empire series. It picks up right where the last book ended and we see the aftermath of the attack. We get to see Dax plan more epic takeovers and we get to see something we really haven’t before, which is Dax being vulnerable. I really enjoyed getting to see the planning going into taking down Diego, and all the new players involved. I loved seeing Dax and her men move forward with their relationship as well. Of course it was fun to see Dax and her men meet up with her bestie and her guys. Honestly this book was Incredible and with an ending like that… I know the next book is going to get even better!!!!
This book picks up right where we left off in Four Tricks. Dax is cleaning up the mess left behind after taking down the Mad Dogs but our girl cannot catch a break. She continues to prove that she is the baddest B around and no one should mess with her. I loved seeing Harper and the triplets. I love the family Dax and her guys have made together, Cam is worming his way to the top of my favorites list. I am on pins and needles waiting to see what happens next because so far every book in this series has gotten more explosive than the last. I also want to add that the spice was top tier.
The thing I like about this series is that all the characters are so well written and have a lot of depth. Each of them has individual thoughts and feelings and I can differentiate between each of the men. I like that Dax is able to have individual interactions with each of her men.
The bedroom action is hot and well written. Plenty of variety. We get individual and group scenes
The pacing of the novel is great. It flows organically and it moves the plot ahead so we don’t get info dumps.
Oh how I love this series. It’s fun and interesting, and it definitely keeps you on your toes. I’m so glad all the guys finally decided it was better to work together for Dax, that made life so much more fun. As I’ve noted before, I slowly hate Dax less and less with every book, this one I only hated her like 15% of the time, so way to go her😂 I love the vibe that Cam adds to the group and finally getting the full brunt of Picasso was great too. I will say the grammar in this one also wasn’t great, and I thought it was a little slow at times, but I still loved it.
