A Beautiful Car
Judy has inherited her father’s car. It is a jaguar. And it is a beauty. For the past four years, since she inherited it, she’s been trying to sell it.
But she can’t seem to get rid of it. No matter who she tries to sell it too, the sale will go awry.
What is wrong with this car? Why does it break down at the inappropriate time?

An original take on a familiar story
Judy has been trying to sell her father’s car, but things keep going wrong. Perhaps this time she will succeed?
You know with Soule that the writing is going to be great, the story will have an extra dimension, and nothing will turn out as you think it will.

Very strong story. This author deserves wider recognition. As a longtime reader of short stories, I think this one stands out. The realistic way the woman's memories, her anxiety, and the selling of the car all play a role in the story, shows Soule is a great master of the short tale. Don't miss out!
