Can this older detective catch a curvy girl gone rogue?
Izzy I pride myself in not taking shit from anyone. That, and my astute skill to solve puzzles and crimes faster than anyone. I'll thank my dedication to true crime shows for that. The trouble is, I can't turn down a challenge. So when a big, handsome detective rolls into town, talking about a missing girl, I'm eager to show him my skills.
Abe I'm not used to women like Izzy. She's smart-mouthed, curvy as hell, and doesn't take no for an answer. I know I should keep my eyes on the case. Finding this missing girl is my objective. But for the first time in my life, I think I may have found my match. This little firecracker is set to hunt... but I'll do anything to catch her.
This is a steamy, over the top, age gap romance. As always, this title comes with Khloe’s ‘Easy Escape Seal’, a no cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA guarantee.
Abe is a PI on the case for a missing girl. Izzy is headstrong and determined to show the hot detective her skills in solving crimes are better than his. Abe is taken with the firecracker that is Izzy, can they work together in more ways than just professional?. Well written funny, steamy short romance, with a dash of mystery!
This is another fun read for the series and I'm really enjoying how each story unfolds. This well written story gave me everything I've come to expect from this author: fab characters, interesting plot - this one has some mystery in it, entertaining banter and a steamy romance. It may be a shorter read but it's got everything you need to be swept away on a fun reading adventure ;D
I couldn't even read it because Izzy is the worst character
I didn't like Izzy in the previous book & I wasn't looking forward to reading this one but I tried. She grated my nerves so bad so quickly I couldn't get into it. I skipped ahead thinking something would change & a likeable person would have emerged but no, she was just as bad. If not worse. Why do writers have to write someone strong willed into a bratty, unlikable, know it all. She was too obnoxious. I HATED her & hated this book because of her. Abe - not bad. Her, she was loathsome. Being a total bitch doesn't make a likeable character. It was more than that though. In the previous book, I got the impression she was a control freak & even though she was wrong - she didn't get called out for it. She's a spoiled bitch that people were too afraid to upset cause she would throw a tantrum (cause that's what she sounds like to me). I hated her & she made thai book unreadable.
Wonderful! I enjoyed this book, it was a nice quick read. I didn't feel any connection to the main characters.

"When someone tells you that you're too much....tell them to find less"
Fearless is the fourth book in the Rugged Mountain Ink series and is the story of the littlest firecracker and a big brick wall she keeps butting up against. Izzy is the younger sister of Denny and is a tattoo artist at the Rugged Mountain Ink studio. She is a firecracker who speaks what ever comes into her mind, is small but strong willed, intelligent, observant, and fearless. She also thinks that she can solve any crime after watching a lot of crime shows. Abe is a retired San Francisco Police detective who is now working as a Private Investigator. His first case is trying to find a missing eighteen year old girl who seems to have met a man online and after her birthday they arranged to meet each other in Colorado. Abe has come to town to follow some leads and ends up at Rugged Mountain Ink on his first evening to see if he can ease some information about whether anyone has seen the young woman and/or know of a man who she may be with. Izzy is on the case faster than you can say "butterfly", but before that she quickly gets Abe into her chair to fix a bat tattoo. Abe may be older, jaded, and trying to find the missing girl, but his attention is quickly taken by all things Izzy. Izzy is determined to find the girl and will quickly put Abe's patience to the test and herself in possible harm. But Abe will never change his girl as she is just right for him.
I really loved this story. Well actually I loved the characters and the story just went along for the ride for me.
The fourth installment of Khloe Summers' Rugged Mountain Ink series is Fearless. When PI Abe arrives in town from California searching for a missing teen, the much younger Izzy with her amateur sleuthing skills immediately jumps in to help. From their first meeting inside the Rugged Mountain Ink tattoo parlour, Abe and Izzy have sizzling chemistry and share entertaining banter. Izzy is an absolute dynamo, her personality bigger than her petite curvy body, while Abe is a swoon-y hero. Together they are the perfect couple.
A fun read from beginning to end, Fearless another steamy romance in this wonderful series!

⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Guaranteed HEA for the main couple. The is a really quick and easy read. Izzy is super sassy and Abe is patient and calm when facing that sassiness. It’s a good opposites attract story. We get to meet other characters that we’ll see in other books in this series. If you’re looking for a cute and quick read then I’d suggest this book!
*Spoilers ahead*

This is the fourth book in the Rugged Mountain Ink series. Abe and Izzy’s story is a steamy age gap instalove. You can enjoy this book as a standalone but it is connected to the other books. I haven't read the first three books and I was able to enjoy this one. I'll definitely go back and read the other books. Abe's in town looking for a missing girl. Her parents have hired him to look for her. Izzy is working at the tattoo shop when Abe stops in to ask questions. Izzy is definitely a firecracker and has a tendency to act first and think later whereas Abe is more methodical in his approach to thing. They really help balance each other out. Looking forward to book five.

“It’s a show that follows the life events of actual crimes. They have a podcast and everything. I’d have solved so many cold cases in this tow—” “In her head,” Henry adds with sarcasm. “In her head, she’s solved cold cases. Not real life—”
“Be careful with Izzy,” he says. “She acts tough, but the girl will crack like mush if you so much as look at her the wrong way.” He smiles. “Don’t get me wrong… she’ll still murder you for doing it… but she’ll probably cry about it after.” He pauses. “Probably.”
“The next time someone tells you that you’re too much, Izzy.” He’s nearly whispering in my ear, sending shivers down my spine. “You tell them to find less. Because you’re perfect. Your fire, your abrasiveness. Everything. You don’t need to change.”
I have read many Khloe Summers books and I have enjoyed them and even really loved some. But this one " Fearless" was very difficult to keep reading. I could not stand the lead heroine. All the other characters were fine. But Izzy absolutely grated on my nerves. Really there was no reason for Abe to fall for her. She was an obnoxious witch. Wasn't even nice to anyone. I'm all for being strong etc, but you don't need to be continually rude and nasty to everyone all the time. That's not being "Too much" that's being ridiculous. Only finished the book so I could get to the next one. And didn't want to miss out on any continuity plot points.
A Private Detective, Abe comes to Rugged Mountain searching for a missing girl. He ends up going to the only open business in town which is the tattoo shop, where he meets the town's self proclaimed mystery solver, Izzy. She is also the town live wire as always being a little over the top. She buts in insisting she will help Abe solve his case, since he does not know the ways of the mountain people. He soon discovers that, he kind of likes how this woman operates. Enjoy this over the top fun story.

Enjoyed reading Abe and Izzy's love story. You could just visualize big ex-cop Abe with little Izzy. Cute. She was a pistol when worked up. He came to town looking for a young girl believed to be abducted. He finds Izzy who is into detective programs and getting to the bottom of things fast. She offers her help. It's a fun read, not going into details because you need to make you own impression of the story. I enjoyed it a lot. Written by Cindy :)
Abe meets Izzy while working as a PI searching for a missing woman. Izzy is a bit of a know-it-all when in comes to crimes—you know, from all of her experience listening to podcasts. They kind of balance each other as far as that goes, even though she takes chances with her safety in her naïveté. I love how Abe sees her, that she’s not too much and he tells her that, contrary to what everyone else says.

The author has given us a wonderful older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Abe and Izzy and does not let go. When Abe, private detective, arrives in Rugged Mountain, searching for a missing girl, he encounters Izzy, who thinks she has what it takes to solve the case. The story keeps our interest from the very first page to the end.

A fun story with a firecracker girl who meets her match in an older man. From the moment they meet Izzy is loud and brash with Abe. Abe is quick to realize, though, that this is the type of woman he needs in his life. Never mind the age-gap or that everyone Abe meets tells her that she's too much, to him she's just perfect. Love that she never yielded to him, even when she surrendered to his love.

Abe is a private detective who comes to town looking for a missing girl. He soon meets Izzy, a feisty, stubborn, excitable female who envisions herself as an unstoppable crime-solver and wants to help Abe with his case. Abe seems to be delighted with her. Despite their age difference, she’s a perfect match for him. Will he take her along on his investigation? Will the two of them find enough in common to want something more permanent?
Gosh I really loved this story. The grump and the little Miss Fearless a match made in heaven 🥰🥰 Abe is in town to solve a missing persons case and meets the firecracker Izzy. Their banter was great and they were drawn together like moths to a flame.... With a little bit of spice in between. Instalove, sweet, romantic, safe with an interesting story/mystery to solve and without drama😍😍😍 HEA included🥰🥰 Can't wait for the next story 👍👍
I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Izzy & Abe. When these two first meet Izzzy is the kind of girl you either run from or run to. Abe is not a man afraid of anything. Izzy so far can't find that just right man who can accept her for exactly who she is. These two are a great team.
Another amazing hit by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
An entertaining read with some mystery and intrigue. Abe is a PI trying to find a missing girl and he ends up with Izzy trying to help him solve the case. Izzy is headstrong and too much for most people. Not Abe though. He finds her perfect the way she is. These two a great together and sparks fly from their first encounter. Nice addition to the series. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
HEA Standalone, interconnected characters *over 18 readers only * Age-gap
She's a tiny tattoo artist that doesn't take nothing from nobody. (That's an attitude, don't come for me about the grammer.) He's in town on business, looking for a missing girl. Izzy thinks she's smarter and better than him at solving mysteries even if he was a detective. *eye roll, that girl is something* Of course, it all works out, but wow... she needs him to settle her down.
Abe is a private investigator searching for a missing girl in Rugged Mountain. Izzy loves a good mystery so she volunteers to help Abe. This is an ott, steamy, age gap romance with a mystery twist. Fearless is book four and a great addition to the Rugged Mountain Ink series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Izzy is a stubborn, sassy, bossy, strong independent woman who thinks nothing will stop or get into her way. Until she meets this Private Investigator . Abe is on Rugged Mountain when he meets Izzy. Even though she is younger then him , there is something about her that attracts him to her. Together they solve the missing person
This is Izzy’s story. I was not a fan of Izzy. I think she was supposed to be headstrong, quirky, smart, with some vulnerabilities. I found her to be obstinate, shrilly, and dumb. Anyhoo, this insta love story didn’t click with me.
Checklist: Age gap✅ Virgin heroine✅ Insta love✅ Huge endowment✅ Tingly lady bits✅ HEA✅ Epilogue✅ Alpha hero✅ Very lite drama✅ Read over morning coffee✅
I loved Izzy and Abe's story. He is a detective from California, and she is a pistol. Not to mention, she works in the tattoo shop and thinks she knows everything. Well, these two butt heads more than once. However, he's smitten and doesn't take no for an answer. When they team up, fireworks begin to happen.
Abe is in town searching for a missing girl. He stops at the local ink shop and meets one whirlwind known as Izzy. She's brass, loud, and a go-getter. She inserts herself in Abe's search and thus begins their journey to love.
Still hating Izzy. I really love girl power, but can we have girl power without being an idiot! Yes, nothing happened, but something could have happened. She could have ruined the case, or gotten herself or Abe hurt. And I also really hated the thinking she can close the case because she listen to crime podcast.
P.S. I don't think she's too much, she is who she is.
This was okay. It was a little confusing at times, one thing I don’t understand is when did thirty something become old? If thirty something is now the new old then I am a senior citizen. 🤦🏾♀️
I honestly wasn’t looking forward to reading this book because in the other books Izzy was my least favorite character but this book redeemed that. It was a good storyline and I enjoyed it.
I love to read and hate not having enough time in the day to finish a book once I’ve started it. This series gives the reader a brief break from reality. Each one of the books in this series has been very enjoyable.
