Contains a lot of helpful content; I would recommend to any first time mom as an introduction to the world of breastfeeding. I feel like more could've been stated on colostrum, the body's transition to making milk, and collecting pre baby. Edit to add after sitting on it a day: The book doesn't touch on nipple shape and how that might affect one's breastfeeding journey. I wish the book was more encompassing of common issues.

The author has a lot of personal anecdotes that show the humbling and sacrificial sides of breastfeeding. It's an easy and not complicated read. Well studied, but felt a bit scatterbrained to follow along.
