Meanwhile, as Saki tires of being forced to work for the Omega Alliance against her will, rumors surface about Ian’s reappearance, giving Saki the hope of finally being reunited with Ian to tell him the truth: that she’s not dead.
But will the reunion Saki has been dreaming of for years go as planned?
Or, will Ian come to despise her, once he realizes Saki has been working for the organization that has caused them so much pain?

this had everything that i loved in the first book, and more! the scope of the world expands by the end of the first book, but in here, you get even more details about gilbert, saki, and the various organizations at large.
i love when there is a robot in any piece of media that is slowly but surely feeling more and more human, and the way that ian notes the way that gilbert is struggling with his emotions has got to be one of my favorites! and on top of that, i love the care that was put into ian’s individual progress as a character in this installment.
