Say It Isn’t So was amazing! It’s an enemies-to-lovers, romantic suspense and I was here for it.

I love enemies-to-lovers romances and this book has to be one of my favorites by Linzvonc. I loved how Max and Cain came together, their chemistry, and the development of their relationship. I love books where the H, previously a player, can’t get enough of the h. Say It Isn’t So had that, and I absolutely loved seeing Cain realize he couldn’t live without Max.

The suspense in this book was phenomenal and kept me on the edge of my seat. I thought I had it all figured out and then bam- Linzvonc throws me for a loop with a new twist!

I was hooked from the first page and devoured this book in one sitting! Say It Isn’t So is definitely in my top 10 enemies-to-lovers romances!

I loved this book! The character development was fantastic, and the way the storyline unfolded was captivating. It was such a great read overall. However, the last few chapters felt like a bit too much. I thought the story was over once the main characters got together, but then more events unfolded. It wasn’t bad, but it felt like these moments could have been wrapped up more neatly in an extended epilogue.

*****~SPOILERS…..~~~~|******

For example, the meeting with Andy, the truth being revealed to the parents (which was supposed to end the MMC’s career but conveniently became his gateway to staying a cop—kinda sus), and the meeting with his own parents (loved his mom and dad, by the way, they were so adorable!) all felt rushed yet drawn out at the same time. Then we had their marriage and them having a child, which also felt both rushed and overly long. It wasn’t bad, but it could have been handled differently to feel more cohesive.

One side note: the MMC’s personality didn’t do a full 180, but definitely more of a 165. He was almost a completely different character by the end—nicer, which is great because we love supportive men, but he was also way less of an asshole. The change was nice, but the sheer number of “I love you’s” in the second half felt dangerously close to love-bombing!

That said, it was still an excellent read, and I’d highly recommend it.!

Linnzvonc always delivers!!!!

I so loved this book! I can pretty much read anything Linzvonc writes and know I will be pulled in and unable to put it down! I adored Max from the very start, but it took a minute for me to warm up to Cain. That man was infuriating and I loved the way Max kept him guessing and wanting more! There was no technical cheating, but Cain was a bit of a m0r0n at times. He was kind of the epitome of “The lady doth protest too much.” I loved when he finally realized and also put together everything he did wrong and then went out of his way to make it right. I feel like he could have apologized more with words, but he definitely showed his feelings through actions so it didn’t take anything away from it.

I kind of loved Andy. I would love for that man to get a HEA. He went through a lot and really didn’t get anything out of it and he was so sweet! The suspense in the book was pretty spot on too! I don’t entirely know how I feel about Max’s family at times, because there was a lot to unpack there, but I think they were not all like Alex. That situation made me hurt for them. I loved Cain’s parents and Charlotte and Harry!

Great enemies to lovers book with plenty of spice and romance with a bit of suspense. I will be re-reading this one!

SAY IT ISN'T SO 💛 BY @linzvonc

"The woman I love gets whatever she wants."

I went into this book blind so let me tell you the twist in this storyline took me by surprise 😂

Its safe to say that Maxie and Cain cannot stand each other, she thinks he's an arrogant player and he thinks she's a boring prude in need some relief 😏😂 but one drunken night turns into something a little more regular until Max decides she needs more and starts online dating. With Max's new date in the picture Cain realises that he doesn't just want a quick thing with Max but she's the first girl to capture his attention, but is it all a little too late?

With two men fighting for her attention Max has some decisions to make but when her sister ends up missing her whole world is turned upside down when she's taken for collateral. What she doesn't know is that Cain will stop at nothing to find her.

Filled with so much sass, spice and all things naughty and nice this is the perfect read for those who love an enemy's to lovers and mystery romance 💛

Must read

I love how almost every Linzvonc book I have read teases with like "the guy" and
then one who is a possible guy for the girl.

Say It Isn't so is about Max(ie) and Cain.

Max is looking to settle down but wants to find someone serious. As her best friend Charlotte
found her amazing guy to settle down with online so Max tried the same.

Cain Harvey the best friend of Charlotte's husband (Harry).

Cain and Max don't really see eye to eye until one day at a party that changes.

They start off with an enemies but with sexy benefits in the bedroom. But will it stay there?
Or will she find love online?

While trying to find love, her sister gets into grave trouble
which leads to Max trying to save her. While trying to do just that she gets stuck in a world
of crime.

As I want to leave this spoiler free and not ruin the amazing ending for
you all I will leave it like this.

Linzvonc I so love that ending. And the darker theme.

Ok so here’s the deal…… Linzvonc is 🔥!!

This is a true enemies to lovers with a ton of sexual tension. Hate sex is 🥵!!

Max and Cain’s best friends are married to each other. Which naturally means that Max and Cain cannot stay away from each other. They are always invited to events and dinners with their best friends. One drunken night ends with Max and Cain getting busy.

After that they constantly go back and forth between sorta like and hate. That is until Max starts dating someone and Cain decides he can’t lose her.

I loved them as a couple but I also loved the secondary characters too. And the story was exciting and captivating. It wasn’t your typical enemies to lovers then they fall in love. There are struggles and drama but their are also passionate and emotional moments too.

Linzvonc you’ve done it again 😍

It’s not always the path you expect that leads to happiness.

This amazing book from Linzvonc tells the story of Max and Cain, best friends of married couple Charlotte and Harry, they are always butting heads and finding faults with one another.
Wishing she had the same fairytale that Charlotte has Max starts online dating to try and find Mr Right, bring in Andy. However unlikely circumstances throw her and Cain together, and now Max is dating the two of them, but her ‘thing’ with Cain will never be serious, it’s not possible of him, or is it?
This is intense drama filled, sexy story has you looking for love in the last place you’d find it.
Amazing work, compelling read and as always 5 stars ⭐️

fantastic read!

Say it Isn’t So is a curvy girl romance.
Cain is arrogant and crude. A player through and through. His best friend’s wife’s friend gets under his skin.
Max is a single girl looking for love. She’s curvy and accepts that, but sometimes she’s insecure. Max thinks Cain is hot, until he speaks.
Their chemistry is off the charts and their love story unfolds organically. You hope and pray they’ll find their HEA.
The characters are what really make this story. The families are interesting and the dynamics of Cain’s family really solidify my love for him.
This is a great story that makes curvy girls swoon and gives us yet another book boyfriend from Linzvonc!

I enjoyed this book. It’s got a little bit of everything from romance to suspense. I was sucked in once things got suspenseful and I couldn’t put it down!
My issue though? The ending. It never came. Once the suspenseful parts were wrapped up this book got boring and incredibly predictable. I’d turn a page and groan because there was yet another chapter. While yes, I get it, the story needed wrapped up, I do believe it could have been done quicker - with a fast forward type thing or something. I don’t know but that ending was just not it for me.

Overall I’m giving it 4 stars because if it wasn’t for that ending dragging on forever it would have been an easy 5.

I feel like a middle age woman when I read books like this- the relationship was cute and had me smiling I did like both MCs - did I waste a few hours reading this 100% its something that I will forget by tomorrow but still a easy read, I think the relationship between the MCs kept me going

but the rest of the book was dreadful- the “plot” was rubbish and stupid imo- didn’t make sense at all. The writing was meh like it wasn’t bad but the way it was presented was

Not a bad but nothing special

This is new to me author and I really enjoyed this book. She pulled me into the story from the beginning and kept me interested till the end. This is about Cain and Max who have a physical attraction even tho they don't like each other. I love seeing how their relationship evolved and how Cain grew as a person becoming just what Max needed and wanted even while trying to fight. I will definitely be looking into her other books, you won't regret reading this 🖤

This is not a safe read.
There is cheating.
MMC cheats...says he loves MFC...she forgives him. That's it. There is no groveling. No explanations. MFC admits she is trying to find someone else because she thinks he will cheat. He does. And she still forgives him and asks him if he wants to still try dating her?
I kept reading thinking there will be a conversation over what happened...never happened.

Linzvonc hit it out of the park again! Enemies to lovers! Watching Max and Cain’s relationship evolve was amazing. There were some twist and surprises I didn’t see coming from this story but it was an amazing ride. Linzvonc has quickly become one of my “one click buy”authors.

Definitely liked it but I found myself skipping the investigation parts. Detective books just aren't my thing. The love story? A plus size heroine? SIGN ME UP! I really liked Max and Cain's relationship and how it flowed over the whole book. All in all it gets 4 stars from me.

Say it isn’t So

This was a moderately good book. It does kind of drag at parts and the storyline kind of goes all over the place but besides that I like the dynamic of the main characters.

Ennemies to lovers 🥰
Such a great and passionate story, i found it was a bit long sometimes but i really appreciate this story.
Max want to settle down like her bestfriend Charlotte. So she create a account on an app to find someone but at the same time there is Cain Charlotte fiancé’s bestfriend. Cain and Max seems like to hate one another. But what will happen when Cain want something and Max want to explore something else? I really love the way Cain acting with Max around and her with him. It’s like a cat and mouse game. When there is Andy in the mix it was very interesting. I was kept wondering what would Max do. With all of this there is also a mystery in Max family and it’s unexpected.
I really appreciate this book.
