Megan spent most of her life in love with Tyler Carmichael, her best friend's older brother, but she's not in love with him anymore. She grew up. She traveled and changed and had her own life experiences, letting go of her silly infatuation. Now she's back in her hometown to work on her degree, and she's ready for a romantic relationship at last.
The only problem is she's never had one before, and at twenty-five she feels clueless and out of her depth. So what better way to learn some best practices in romance than take lessons from a master dater. Tyler himself. If anyone can teach her how to attract a man, it's him.
First, she'll have to convince him to do it. And then she'll have to make sure she doesn't accidentally fall in love with him again.
Noelle handwrote her first romance novel in a spiral-bound notebook when she was twelve, and she hasn't stopped writing since. She has lived in eight different states and currently resides in Virginia, where she teaches English, reads any book she can get her hands on, and offers tribute to a very spoiled cocker spaniel.
She loves travel, art, history, and ice cream. After spending far too many years of her life in graduate school, she has decided to reorient her priorities and focus on writing contemporary romances.
Megan and Tyler were so cute together! Watching them wade through Tyler’s instructions with Megan was fun even when moments of awkwardness arose. Although this story was so freaking cute and sweet, it had plenty of steam to it. There was no doubt that this couple had chemistry and each time they acted on it there was a mad scramble afterwards that had me giggling even as I wanted to smack them both.
This is a short read but the way this author presented it made it feel fuller. I absolutely loved having Tyler’s point of view. It allowed me to really connect with him and anticipate what was going to happen next.
While I wanted more, of not only this couple but the other characters, I was happy with the way this couple worked their issues out and found a great ending that was perfectly perfect for them.
Book 1 had an even shorter page count, but I felt the novella still delivered every aspect of the relationship.
This Book 2 though, started skipping what I felt would have been important scenes. And with semi-bland main characters, nothing compelled me to go further. DNF around page 24.
As for the storyline and what I noticed being left out of the story… this story follows the same formula as Book 1. Both heroines have huge secret crushes on the hero, in order to get over that crush they ask the hero to help them with their ‘plan’, midway thru the plan the hero gets jealous, etc. Book 1 hero has panic/anxiety due to losing control and is afraid of commitment. Book 2 heroine has anxiety due to losing control and is afraid of relationships.
This heroine had the idea to ask the hero to teach her how to be more seductive/meet a new future boyfriend. There is a scene in the beginning of the story where the hero is being harassed by a girl at a coffee shop that’s not getting the hint that he’s not interested. So he asks the heroine (who works at the coffee shop) to come over to his table and pretend she’s his girlfriend to scare off this unwanted girl bothering him. Heroine was super excited and said if she did that, then he needs to do her a favor in return. He said Of Course! END OF CHAPTER.
We never got to see her pretend to be his girlfriend in that scene! I think that would have been a perfect scene to show us readers them interacting in that awkward fake relationship way. We also never got to read about her asking him to teach her to be seductive! Why? Why would both of those important scenes be skipped over?
Lol, so the next chapter started with it being the following day. And commenting the hero had been reluctant to agree to her plan.
I was so disappointed. It would have been so cute to have been able to see both of the scenes as they happened. Disgustedly disappointed.
This is the second book of the Coble Coffee series and it is so sweet. Megan has been in love with Tyler all her life but as his best friend's older brother he was into other girls and did not pay any attention to her. She decided to take some time abroad and now is back to study in the university. Now, she wants to learn to seduce and get involved with someone. Tyler could not get away from Megan and volunteer to teach her how to seduce and meet new people. The book has some fun scenes and a lot of sexy time between them and as always great writing of Noelle Adams. A great book and I just loved it!
This is a shorter length novella with a best friend's sibling romance trope, one I always enjoy! Megan has had a crush on her best friend's older brother Tyler but nothing ever came of it, and they've been friends as adults. Tyler's something of a playboy, always with a date on hand so Megan figures she'll ask him for some dating advice as she's not great with dating or relationships. Watching Magan follow Tyler's advice (and Tyler realize he's getting jealous) was fun. When they realize they are attracted to each other, they share some steamy scenes but both think that for the sake of their friendship they shouldn't go any further. Oh well, best laid plans don't always work out and of course they end up falling for each other and realizing they are a perfect match. It's an enjoyable afternoon read.

הספר השני בטרילוגיה של נואל אדמס על החברות ויויאן, מייגן ובריט. קראתי את הקודם - The Older Man Plan.
Super cute sister’s best friend romance with a side of dating lessons! Megan and Tyler read as much younger than their purported mid-20s but it was a sweet novella overall.
Characters: Megan is a 25 year old white barista, college student, and virgin. Tyler is a white marketer in his mid-20s.
Content notes: on page sex, alcohol, inebriation, casual acephobia, ableist language
3.5 stars. A fun romance novella that was well written in the author's usual, simple to read style. It was nicely balanced for such a short book and this is a friends to lovers trope. There are some steamy romance scenes which were fun and felt real. I enjoyed it. 😍
I think I am getting the gist, or the intentions, of this series of books. I am assuming these young heroines are all of a certain age, [20s, New Adult] but that the Heroes are ranging from late 20s to Rick, in Book 2, who was pushing 40.
At least this epiphany> after sex was had was the shortest on record in this series, so far. Painful to bear but worthwhile when ONE of them comes to the realization, Honesty IS the Best Policy. It can also bring you happiness and a great boyfriend/girlfriend.
The build-up, or the reasoning, for Megan even approaching Tyler was almost synonymous with the first book. Megan even answered her own questions and doubts because...man, oh, man... it felt like Tyler had been THE ONE for her even way back when her crush/like began, so fooling herself into using Tyler as her Love Coach was tearing her brain to shreds.
If you continue to tell your Inner Self things are done and you've let them go, maybe one day your subconscious will listen. Trust me, these were simply lies Megan fed herself to not be crawling into bed to bawl her eyes out. Tyler could see her, but didn't SEE her until she had been away for awhile, then returned home. This...is kind of sad.
What I loved, and enjoyed, was being able to also see the Hero's POV [same as in Book 1]. Mainly because I get jaded by only living inside a heroine's world. And I never want to assume the dude might be as savvy and alert as I would hope he could be. Tyler was...but he was also going into his own "deniability" spiral in that he was changing, as well, and also seeing...or needing to feel more worth in relationships and dating than he had before.
I also really enjoyed seeing a bit more of who are 3rd Hero will be, and of course being able to witness some single sprouts of attention to the 3rd heroine, as well.
Like I always say, Adams delivers quality in such a microcosm of worthy storytelling. You would enjoy telling her "this story should be expounded upon, in length", but sometimes the modicum can be what strips down to the general core of what romance needs to thrive. none of the wonky or janky business of messiness, drama, and angst, or that hopeless feeling of pointless non-communication we have to suffer through at Zero Hour.
There's a brilliant science here that has been corner and perfected because you get just enough to be satisfied and fulfilled.
This is book two in The Coble Coffee Series and it is Megan and Tyler's story and omg it is definitely a must read. Megan has no experience with romance, dating or how to find the right man and another problem that she has is her feelings for Tyler that she has had for year's even though she has tried to get over him because he has never shown any feelings towards her so now she has decided to get some help to get over him and find another man who wants her just as she is and that is when she decides to ask Tyler to help her and nothing will go wrong or will it. Tyler needed an escape from the woman opposite him but she doesn't seem to take the hint and Tyler didn't know what to do as he didn't want to hurt her feelings as he was a nice, kind and sweet guy but there was no one to rescue him until Megan steps in and helped in exchange for him helping Megan in the romance department. Then something happened between Megan and Tyler that not only makes things really awkward but also difficult to be around each other. Will Megan and Tyler ever decide to take a chance and talk about how they feel for each other or will they continue to ignore each other missing out on something special and a happy ending. Wow I absolutely loved this book and I couldn't put it down and had to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next and I absolutely loved the outcome and can't wait to read the next book in this series.
The Seduction Instruction (great title!) is about two people who are their own worst enemies when it comes to connecting. Megan had a huge crush on Tyler through her high school years, but she believes she’s finally over him. Tyler, on the other hand, has started to notice Megan much more now that his sister’s best friend is in her mid-20s. It takes a somewhat crazy scheme of Megan’s—having Tyler teach her how to become more comfortable flirting with men—that brings them together.
Megan and Tyler are both intrinsically nice people. They are considerate of one another—and perhaps that niceness is their problem. They’re unwilling to risk their friendship for the potential of a relationship. It takes a wild idea to change their status quo, and even then, these two struggle to move out of their comfort zones. I liked the way Adams paced this story, building the changes for Megan and Tyler in a steady progression forward.
There’s a lot to be said for short reads in romance, and The Seduction Instruction is a great way to wile away an afternoon with a brisk romance between two people who truly deserve one another.
I am enjoying this novella series. It is light and fun and romantic. In this one, Megan thinks that she is over her long-time crush on her best friend's brother. Asking him to help her learn to date seems like a terrific idea since he is such a nice guy. She is surprised to find that the old feelings have rushed back in and that Tyler may have some feelings, too. Both of them have some issues they must face about themselves in order to be the couple that they are capable of being. I loved the chemistry between Megan and Tyler, and I am really looking forward to Britt and Nash's story.
This was cute, if a little under-developed. This series is trope-y, but it doesn't feel like Noelle Adams is leaning into the trope enough. There are only 2 "instruction" scenes and that is it. The hero also wasn't a very good instructor? He just told her super basic stuff. But their chemistry and pining was sweet so I enjoyed seeing them get together.
Megan was so cute asking Tyler to help her attract a guy! Tyler was doing Megan a favor since she did him a favor. The more time they spend together the more Tyler realizes what a great gal Megan is. Loved this book!
I really am enjoying the Coble Coffee series. These girls are a fun group and the guys are all unique making for sweet little nuggets of romance in my busy life. Megan had a lot to learn and Tyler was the perfect teacher, it was entertaining to watch them in new unchartered situations.
Finding some one to share your dreams, enjoy the same things, and love you just as you are!! This is a wonderful story !! The characters are amazing, with flaws, strengths and searching for that one special true love!!
Short and sweet. Storylines where the heroine has been in love with the hero forever are usually not my favourite, but this one was well done. Sweet. I liked it.
These two are so cute! I know it’s a book/story but I could feel the love and eagerness to be together! Very cute quick romance story! I’m looking forward to the next story in the series.
Megan needs help, she asks Tyler for help. it doesn't matter, that she had a crush on him, when she was younger. This short story is sweet . I enjoyed it very much.
