Monster is book 1 in the Royal Bastards MC: Belfast, Northern Ireland series. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me at all. I found the overall story boring and the connection between Monster and Miren was completely lacking. I have no plans to continue this series.

HOLY HELL! Monster is my favorite book to date by the darkly brilliant Dani Rene. Monster is our lead alpha biker president, who protects those he considers his, loves his mother completely (yeah I loved that big time) as he still keeps her teachings at the forefront of his mind, and will do a solid for a priest at the end of the day. Miren is a sheltered young woman who is strong despite the fact that her mother controls all aspects of her life, and I won't lie, I wasn't her mother's biggest fan. There comes a time when she needs protection, and Monster is the one tasked with it, and while the sparks are flying, he still has some trust issues. This story had the twists coming in hot, action, and sexiness to keep me turning the pages quickly, and I never wanted it to end. I don't want to say anything else since it's more fun to go in blind to be honest. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I loved this one. It was amazing. I love the Royal bastards and them in Ireland is so fucking amazing. I can't wait to read the next book.

This was a good start to this author's first foray into writing an MC series.
For me personally I loved the authenticity of using all the slang but it did make it hard to understand/follow at times. Could just be the head space I'm in and I definitely applaud the author for doing it this way.
I didn't find myself connecting much with either of the main characters, but loved all the twists to the plot.
Definitely interested in seeing what the author comes up for the next book.

Rene has an always will be my go to author for dark and delicious books. This is an MC story and has all the feels and is full of action, twist and turns, gritty, yummy and page turning goodness.

I cannot believe this is the first full length MC romance this author has written. This story had non stop action, adventure and just the right about of sexiness throughout the book. I instantly became a fan of Monster with his personality and views on life with protecting those he considers to be his family. Miren is a strong woman, what she entails is not easy to swallow. I hear each individual characters voice standing strong on their own as I read their words. The dual POV is perfect, as we continued through each chapter the story continues forward and there’s no repetitiveness. A tale that gives us closure on Monster and Miren yet leaves a series open to learn about the other members in the club.

Yet another good book of the RBMC. This time we start out in London and move to Bedfast Northern Ireland. This is Monster's, (Cathal) and Miren aka Wee Fox is what Monster calls her.
What if you hear your mother on the phone and figure out that your father is still alive and you've always been told he was not. What do you do when you are kidnapped and then kidnapped again and find out neither of your parents are who you thought they were?
Monster got his name as a cute kid way but now is because he thinks he is a monster. Who are the real monsters??

Loved This MC Read
Monster was the alpha hot Prez of the RBMC and of man of principle that had me swooning. Plus who can’t love a man who loves his ma?! Monster is on a mission of revenge but when Miren comes into his life, he certainly does have trust issues but its Miren who wants to prove him wrong.
Miren is a young woman who was kept in a bubble during her life but don’t let that fool you because she was also a woman with a strength that comes from inside herself when needed. This was a book I couldn’t put down with all the twists and turns that made this a one sit read for me. I absolutely loved Monster and Miren!
I haven’t read this author’s work before but what a great find. MC books are one of my go-to’s and after reading Monster I’ll definitely be reading her from here on out.

This is an explosive start to a new MC romance series. We start off with Monster the president with all that entails who I instantly liked being asked to assist with something for Father Donahue. Miren is who he needs to keep safe by request but she is walking temptation he is determined to avoid. This makes for quite the fun read as their romance plays out amongst all of the non stop action, adventure, and danger. Creates a nice balance making for an enjoyable read. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

I love Dani Rene’s first Royal Bastards, Belfast chapter book! It’s got a solid storyline and introduces the reader to the other club members. Monster is the president of the MC and is getting closer to completing his revenge mission of 10 years. When Miren is put into his care, Monster leads by example, with the Royal Bastards’ code of family & protection. Miren is lucky—with her secrets yet to be revealed, she learns about loyalty, freedom, and love. The story was raw & exciting with some dark elements, and I am definitely going to be following this chapter of the MC.

Monster is everything I adore in an alpha anti hero who fights what he doesn't know he is missing. Miren was a wonderful and strong character and I loved her wit and how she stood up to Monster. Their story is packed with highs and lows, feels and some steamy times too. This story comes together fantastically with the twists and turns that had left me unsuspecting.
Can't wait to see where the next book leads us with the next set of characters (this is not a cliffhanger).

The first MC book by Dani Rene, but already on the top level. I absolutely love the story of Monster and Miren.
It was sensual, intriguing, hot, sexy and damn, do you need more evidence to start reading this book?

I love this book, their couple , their connection. It's one of the few books that reads easily, in the same breath. Do I need to tell you that I was drinking again when I read it? I need to stop drinking, but the books won't let me do it.

When Father Donahue reaches out for help from the club, they don't hesitate but he never expected to be so affected by Miren. She needs protection and that job primarily falls into Monster's hands. This woman is forbidden as she's too young and too pure. Her warmth calls to him and soon rules are being left in the dust. But he knows she's hiding something and he'll make her pay but not before he gets a taste.
I honestly can't believe this is Dani's first foray into mc romance but she did a phenomenal job. Then again, everything I've read from her since the first last year has been time very well spent. I loved both Monster & Miren. Both were heavily influenced by their moms. Monster carried his mom's wise teachings with him while Miren's mother was evil incarnate. This book had everything I love in my favorite romances from action-packed scenes, twists, turns, suspense to edge of my seat angst while I flipped pages late into the night. I highly recommend this read. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

Very Good start to another RBMC chapter. Ms. René has given us a well written book with lots of suspense, action and romance. Monster is the Prez of the Northern Ireland Chapter. He’s a strong leader, loyal only to his club and MC brothers. He doesn’t do relationships or allow feelings as those get people around him killed. But deep down he’s his mother’s son and her lessons have served him well. Especially when he meets Miren,a girl Father Donahue has asked him to watch over. She has some type of pull on him that he doesn’t want especially since he knows deep down she’s hiding something from him. But what that is only time and his brothers will find out - one way or another.
Great read. Monster is an alpha male and Miren is a sassy, headstrong independent woman - nothing could possibly go wrong, right? Grab it up and get in on the start with this RBMC Chapter. It’s going to be a dandy.

Monster is the first MC book I read and it really was an MC book. The writing was done so well, and I felt the dynamic of the club and its members portrayed very well on paper. I was not crazy about the irish language writing, even though it was done well, and helped add another level to the book.

Monster, or Cathal is set on revenge and in his attempt, he is asked to help Miren, a young woman who was kidnapped by the man Monster wants for revenge.
The action and plot were exciting and sometimes suspenseful. The romance is very slow for these two. Monster not wanting love, as he sees the hurt and pain that can happen and poor Miren, her life has just been flipped upside down.
"We fit. It’s as if we’re two magnets that have slowly been forced together and suddenly snap into place"
I recieved this ARC for an honest review.

Monster is a good name 4 him growing up stubborn lol but he takes a childhood nickname 2 the extreme that's well suited 2 being a royal bastard. she thought she lived a good life with her mom growing up but she gets a few shocking revelations on top of being saved by the reverend Donohue. Things goes crazy and th when u think it finally calms down sum more shit hits the fan!! Will the bastards survive the craziness of it all of who they r fighting or will they loose everything? Read and find out. This is her 1st book and its pretty good but I still have a few unanswered questions. But overall it keeps u on ur toes. Can't wait 2 c what happens with Rebel.

Monster by Dani René is the First book in the Royal Bastards MC: Belfast, Norther Ireland Series. This is the story of Miren and Monster. Monster is the President of the MC Club and his trust is limited to only them Club Members. Monster's mother who he adored was killed and he has been wanting to get revenge for her passing. When his mother's priest, Father Donahue comes to him asking for a favor...he has no real choices. The favor is protecting a young women named Miren who has sparked feelings he has long since forgotten but he also doesn't trust her or what she is hiding. Miren was kept on a tight leash by her mother. Although, Miren's mom wasn't a loving mother and always working she made rules that Miren had to stay withing. This was a really good story and I can't wait to read more from this author.

This is a new to me author and I have to say I'm thrilled Monster was my first read by her. It's absolutely fantastic with great characters and storyline. It kept me completely glued to the pages and anticipating what was coming next. Monster is the President of the Belfast Ireland Chapter of the Royal Bastards MC. To say he's strong, determined and stubborn would be an understatement. Maybe that's what makes him and Miren, the main female character so perfect together. I love that she's tough, takes no crap from Monster and stands her ground relentlessly. The chemistry between these characters is off the charts HOT. They've been perfectly matched. I love that the dialect this author uses in writing this book. It's very authentic and well written. I'm in love with Monster and Miren and I can't wait to see what she brings us with the rest of the characters.

What an intense ride this was I couldn't get enough Monster is everything wrapped up in a beautiful package and gives you everything you want in an MC story.
So much danger, lies, truths and so heartfelt when we find out everything and the club is so filled with family, Monster and Miren are explosive the attraction and angst are off the charts hot but also leaves you with that dread of not knowing what is gonna happen next. I loved it.

age gap romances are my kryptonite so i was so excited to read this book.

Great book! Miren’s life is simple bc of her past, what happened to her you can honestly seeing it happen. It doesn’t help that her bully is still around. I love how she’s set up with Fury. I have a feeling reading more about his mom would be a hoot. I love how easy Fury is. It makes the book flow so easily. I would have liked for them to run into her bully again. That would’ve been sweet.

Wow, what a read. This book has everything in it to make a good read. It moves along at a really great pace that makes for an enjoyable read that you don't want to put down. The main characters are both strong determined people. On the outside they may be completely unsuited but the pull between them was too strong to ignore .Miren and Monster could not be more different. She is innocent and sheltered and he is anything but. She thinks she is fragile but she is stronger than she knows, Monster is the president of an MC. Absolutely loved this read, fast paced, couldn't put it down and enough drama and action to keep me page turning.
