Ace is in his feelings. He's hurt, bitter and jealous. He already took the Rolex back from Cari. Dejuan ain't do anything to Ace, but Dejuan can't die he has to get Ace back. Rich twins are hilarious, they don't have any filter. Rich has come along way too. I want to see if he's going stay true to his word and marry Chanel. MarLah is going to have big lawsuit. I want Dejuan to survive because I want to see him and Cari make it. Kesha changed her mind real quick about Rich, he caught her looking while he was sexing Chanel. Jo is a changed for his daughter and when his wife comes home.

Whew Chile Big Jo-Ru be applying pressure. You definitely did yo thang with the crew. I love the friendships in this story. Man I was shocked Dejuan can’t he got get his lick back. My favor thing about this novel was the story telling. You definitely took us on a journey with this one I can’t wait for part 2

Oh my God. Normally I have my picks of liking certain characters but baby Jo, Lah, Cari, Dejuan and Rich. They all have a unique thing about them I love it. I love when the author can take me on a emotional roller coaster because I can tell they took their time writing. I’m ready for the next book.

This story had me hooked from page one! I thought Marlah was going to work my nerves but she ended up being my favorite and so did Jo-Ru. From the gate I thought he was gone turn snake but he wound up being one of the realest. I was rooting for Jo and Lah and I still am. DeJuan disappointed me with how he did Cari but she was reckless about how she chose to do her get back. I can't wait for Part 2. Robin's pen never disappoints.

What in the world
Lah needs to sue majorly. She was wrong for playing with Jo's feelings like that. She was and is in love with him. I'm glad they got Jo out of prison. Promise deserves to be with one of her parents. I want to know who snitched on her tho. Carlos could have done it. Kita should have let go and moved on with her life but nope. Death met her. Justice was dumb for playing with her life like that all because a man doesn't want you. Chanel and Rich need to watch Kesha silly behind. I already know who shot Dejuan. Cari shouldn't have been playing around either. Next part.

Jo and Lah are officially one of my favorite couples!!
Lah and Jo are everything for me!! True epitome of till death do us part and unconditional love for one another. Seeing the crew together and hearing from everyone involved makes you want to root for everyone to win and overcome all the problems that are coming their way, even if a few brought it on themselves. I was hooked from the first page to the cliffhanger at the end. I'm excited for what book 2 will bring because I need to know what's gonna happen next!!

This was definitely a good read. I did not see that ending coming though I can’t wait for the next part to drop!
Marlah and Joseph had me going for a minute I am glad they finally got it together in the end. I just hope everything works out for the best with them!
Rich is a straight fool but you gotta love him he goes hard for his people and holds them down but he is a straight up hoe lol.
Cari little situation has done the unthinkable instead of taking the L from her moving on and trying to be happy in her relationship I can’t wait until he gets what’s coming to him!!
Poor Dejuan after he decided to get himself together by getting therapy and asking Cari to be his wife the unthinkable happens hopefully he is ok!

Review
Two members from different gangs-both in the drug game - in love. Thanks to a hateful ex, they spent several years behind bars. The story focuses on the measures their friends took for them to be reunited. Most of the action was fast forwarded due to time jumps. I can't say that I really have a clear idea of who the characters are necessarily . There is very little chemistry between the couples . I think that is because we don't really see or did not get to experience their relationships grow . We were only told of them through individual monologues . So far the story is okay and 'm interested enough to see how things end.
