one of the best instruction books I’ve seen!
Wow! Just the paintings themselves are enough to buy this book. The photo realism is extraordinary! But what makes this book unique is the step by step of “how” she approaches a painting. Then she uses gorgeous subjects to show each painting step by step! I checked it out on Kindle Unlimited first. But I’m buying the paperback!

Bravo!
Who knew? I don’t particularly enjoy watercolor, as I personally have found it to be an unforgiving medium. However, I may need to revisit that sentiment after reading Anna Mason’s Watercolour World. Maybe it’s because she’s self-taught, but I found her technique and approach to watercolour to be incredibly accessible. Like look here, this isn’t a mountain, it’s a beautiful meadow that you simply take one step at a time through. Hard to explain, but this was a great read.

an informative and inspirational read
This book provided much information about color and technique that I am sure will make my paintings much , much better. I am inspired to inject more realism into my otherwise very loose style.

The Best
I am taking classes with Anna teaching. It is amazing! I forgot about being in my zone. It is so easy to do with her way, and the brushes!

This is a really pretty book. I liked the illustrations a lot. It was a bit too technical for me. I am a novice watercolour painter mostly stamps and then watercoloring them so some of the techniques are beyond my ability and left me feeling bored. But I did pick up a few basic tips and so I gave this book 3.5 out of 5 stars!

Anna is my new watercolorist hero. I didn’t think it was possible for some to paint so realistic in watercolor but Anna proves me wrong. She inspires me to learn new watercolor techniques and to push myself with my art.
