I'm only here for Ace these days. What those animals have gone through is heartbreaking, but their little team is adorable and I look forward to more of their adventure each month. I'm kind of mad at Batman for not escaping yet. But I also can't wait for Ace to save him.

The first story...gag me. If it was JLD without the icky weird romance between Z and BMan, maaaaybe it'd be tolerable. But none of the characterizations are right and Batman doesn't work in a story like this.

The Question is a classic detective story right at home here.

I love Ace. He's a good boy.

Bound to Our Will (4 of 6): I think I can safely say I don't like this arc. Cannot wait for it to be over. Something about the dialogue just does not appeal to me.

Right Answer, Wrong Question: This, on the other hand, was phenomenal and easily UL's best one-off.

Memory Lane (1 of 3): I really do not want to read two more issues of this.

Hounded (4 of 6): Still a great read.

Urban Legends is a rollercoaster of punishment where you are occasionally rewarded with a really great story. I complain about this series a lot, but every issue has at least had something worth reading so far.

First story continues to be a raging dumpster fire: I hate it, I want it to go away.

Second story is the Question and Batman, as Vic Sage tries to figure out if he can trust Wayne Enterprises, Bruce Wayne, and Batman. Of course, he makes it way more convoluted than he has to, but he gets his answers. It's a standalone, but it was fun, I wish I got more of this pairing in this anthology though: I thought this worked really well.

Third story is Shiva and Katana, and the Birds of Prey. Apparently I can only care about two stories in this anthology at one time, and I simply didn't care for this one.

Fourth story is more Ace - and I am living for this, this is giving me life. I was sad to see that catching up, this was the only Urban Legends I had left as I absolutely love this storyline.

I guess I'm the only person who liked the Memory Lane story? I'm not sure but I think this is the characters who will be the new Birds of Prey so this is kind of a backdoor introduction to that.

Hounded is still great but the other two stories I found mediocre.
