What a cute and adorable short. Stacy is the new intern . Her boss Georgia wants her to video the players and hopes it will bring in more followers . So since their are on vacation it will be fun .She wants it put on Tik tok. Only thing Stacy doesn't have tik tok. When Stacy catches the eye of Wilson one of they players they decide to have fun. I loved it . and what great ideas they come up with

This was a cute novella from one of my favorite romance writers. It’s very short but managed to make me smile through most of it. I didn’t know it existed until now so I went looking on the authors website. And got it free. It was a fun read.

This is such a cute read! A short story set within the Brooklyn Bruisers world, you can also easily read it as a standalone.

Stacey is interning with the Bruisers, and she’s been asked to develop social media content for the team to build their following. The problem is that she’s a self-declared nerd who has no idea about social media, or about how to gain followers. Luckily rookie player Wilson is full of ideas and more than happy to help her.

How Sarina Bowen manages to put so much into such a short story is beyond me. I laughed at Stacey’s awkwardness, I smiled seeing her interacting with the team, I felt butterflies whenever Wilson was on hand to help her out, and I legit squealed out loud when things took a romantic turn.

I loved this story, and it left me with a huge smile on my face.

Training Camp was such a fun little novella and exactly the kind of quick sporty romance I needed. It’s fast-paced, lighthearted and really easy to fly through in one sitting. 💋

Wilson and Stacey had such cute chemistry together and I really enjoyed the awkward internship setup mixed with the playful helper dynamic. There was just enough tension and sweetness to keep me smiling the whole way through and the hockey setting made it even more fun because I obviously love a hockey romance 🏒

For such a short read, the characters still felt surprisingly lovable and it definitely gave me a good introduction to the series world. It honestly just left me wanting more from these characters and has completely convinced me I need to read the whole series now 🏒📚

Historia muy cortita, apenas unos capítulos, sobre cómo Stacey (21) conoció al jugador Wilson, un tipo recio, grande como una montaña, de los que a mí me gustan tanto. Estamos en un entorno que hasta la fecha no nos había puesto la autora: agosto, entrenamiento de pretemporada. Stacey es la becaria que prefiere el trabajo de oficina, pero que está trabajando diversos aspectos del equipo, no como hizo Heidi Jo, pero casi. Georgia le pone a manejar las redes sociales. Stacey, socialmente limitada, no entiende cómo funcionan. Wilson ve lo problemático que le resulta idear algo para las cuentas del equipo en redes, y le echa una mano con las ideas. Cuando él le tira los tejos, sutilmente, ella ni se entera.
Es una historia breve de estas que la autora entrega como freebie, y yo no sé si te puede servir por sí sola. Creo que si no sigues la serie, no te enteras de quien es la mitad de los personajes, y eso puede ser un poco confuso.
Hace años hice una clasificación de los tipos de relatos cortos que te puedes encontrar en romántica. Este sería de los que yo llamo «esto va por buen camino»: se conocen, se gustan y se ve que esto va hacia una relación duradera. Entonces se acaba. No sé si la autora pretenderá seguir más adelante con estos dos personajes o los dejará así, como secundarios en la serie. Solo me falta Love lessons por leer, y ellos no son los protagonistas, así que no sé.

This was a very short story/novella that shows us a few days in the life of a 21 year old summer intern who is more of an introvert - who is given an assignment to make a few videos for social media of the Brooklyn guys at training camp. It was awesome because we get to take another peek into the already established world of our favorite hockey players ( and the women who put up with them). Pair this with the idea of making the players compete in zany contests which may or may not include certain butt contests.....but no spoilers....

I do not remember the player who is the feature in this story. His name is Wilson and I think he might be a rookie. Anyway, it is a short and funny story that will leave you with a smile.

Stacey is an intern for the Bruisers and Georgia has tasked her to build the team's TikTok page by doing fun things with the players. During the process of getting different footage of the players, Stacey befriends Wilson, one of the rookie players on the team. Wilson helps Stacey make some awesome videos for the team's social media page and he gets closer to his new teammates. By the end of her internship, Stacey and Wilson agree to go on a date. This was such a cute story and I love the Bruisers.

This is a very quick read that is just so much fun. An intern is trying to gain followers on social media for the team. She has some pretty boring questions for the players interviews - until she gets some help from one of the players. He suggests videoing a competition between the players. When that was wildly successful online, the two of them work on the next competition. I really enjoyed the quick journey with these two young individuals.

She might be technically a Gen Z but she’s not a TikTok wiz. Forced to create content by Georgia the team publicist, Wilson might just be helping Stacey to get to know her better.
